  1. Never again !

The first time I used them they did a good job , even though they took off a tree branch that was hanging over my driveway and I later had to cut the tree because it looked so bad .I even gave them a good review because they were nice young men trying , but the second time was terrible ! They not only broke and damaged several pieces of furniture they scratched several of my antiques . Glass in picture frames were broken as well . Sloppy work ! After getting in my leather sofa one of the guys plopped his extremely sweated body down it , I literally cringed . At the end they tried to charge me more than we agreed on and I had to prove to them with my email of proof of quote . The reason I haven't reported it is because of the question one of the men asked me before leaving which was " When did you say you would be out of town ?" The icing on the cake was when I caught the young man taking picture of my things at the storage unit but at the home as well .That was very disturbing .One of the men made excuses for the damage but that doesn't fix things now does it !

  2. 2 College Brothers: Solid move

Had a great move for a 4 bedroom house recently. Needed storage, needed flexibility with closing dates. Was really concerned about a few select pieces that arrived.Highly recommend.

  3. 2 College Brothers

2 College Brothers did my move within Gainesville last July. In mid-January, after six months and numerous exchanges, I finally received payment for some, but not all of the damages they caused during the move. The damages included multiple scratches and dents to wood floors where the movers slid or dropped furniture, a gouge in the wall where they hit it with furniture, and a 3 foot gouge out of my concrete driveway, where they dug into it with the hanging tailgate when they backed up the moving truck. Despite the fact that I had to make good on or fix ALL the damages, 2 College Brothers only reimbursed me for those damages they caused at my new house; they refused to reimburse me for three of the damages, including the gouge to the concrete driveway, that they did at my old house, saying it the house now belonged to a new owner.

It is a fact that I would not recommend this company for your move. If they cause damages, it seems unlikely to me that you will receive a timely or fair resolution.

  4. Just No!

Stay away from this company. They broke or lost over $5,000 dollars worth of my items. Some irreplaceable. Wade the owner admitted to screwing up by their insurance refuses to pay. STAY AWAY

PM me for more details - happy to provide pictures!

  5. Nothing terrible but nothing good.

I was given a certain quote for some services but they were not the best price. They agreed to discount my project under the pretence that all moving companies are basically the same. The other company that quoted me said directly on the quote that their employees are required to jog 50% of the time. These guys did not. Also they came to help pack the evening before. They were 2 and a half hours late and left am hour early (that I was not being charged for) after they explained to my wife that there wasn't much more for them to pack, so they took the remaining boxes and left. Upon returning the next day, they didn't bring any extra boxes, but we then find out that they needed more. About 20 more. We had to go source them ourselves. These guys were not greatly rude, but they had a definite attitude. I bought pizza for them and didn't have a problem with them taking a quick pizza breather. About 2 hours later when we are leaving, they left 25 minutes before we did. We then went straight to the other home. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes for them to get there. Other people in our group saw them getting a snack and taking a break during their trip from one house to the other. I then was charged for it. They were definitely cut from a mold that I had not seen before. There was not much need for organizing what went where, but they still decided to leave some of my couch cushions outside rven after they had left. All in all I would rather have called the other company back to arrange using them. I still tipped but I feel that I got the best tip of all.. DO NOT USE COLLEGE KIDS THAT DONT CARE ABOUT OTHERS. This may be a harsh blanket statement, but as I have grown away from my college years, I understand that I didn't have the same respect for others or their property as I do today. I should have hired a more mature company.
