  1. My Move Was Great - I Move A Lot, I Know.

I have moved over 10 times and these guys were by far the best!     The moving representative Glenn was very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions and trust me I had a lot.  I have had a few bad experiences with movers and I wanted to make sure that I would not get screwed again.  Glenn talked me through everything, send me a quote and even gave suggestions on how to prepare for when the movers come to help save on money. The movers showed up in a new truck, the movers wore shirts and were clean cut,  and they all spoke English.  They introduced themselves and were very friendly.  They went over every single paper in the contract and made sure I was comfortable with everything.  They even mentioned the extra insurance if I wanted to get it.  ** this was a huge part of my rating as most companies just make you sign everything without explaining it and they rush you through everything** The move went great, the movers were professional, my furture all got wrapped and my boxes were handled with care.  Upon finishing the truck, we came together on a plan for the new location and went over. Unloading was very fast and they put things exactly where I wanted them.  They even moved the couch a few times for me.  Nothing was broken or damaged and they did it quickly. After the move the office called and emailed me asking how the move went.     I will definitely recommend 24 Moving to my family and friends.  Thanks for the great move!

  2. Scam Moving Company-using Multiple Names Brush Moving/laprom/24 Moving.

ONTRACT SIGNED WITH 24 MOVING NOT LAPROM. CHARGED BY LAPROM MOVING. DAMAGED ALL OF OUR FURNITURE, ART, MISC. HELD TVS HOSTAGE UNTIL PAID. SCAM! On 09/25/14, Omar from 24Moving came out to do an estimate for moving our 3 bedroom apartment to a new apartment (both 3rd floor apartments) 7 miles away. Omar quoted me a flat rate of $1500.00 to pack and move us. Omar advised me 4 men would come first thing in the morning on 11/15 to pack all of our items and move us to the new apartment. Omar estimated 9 hours for the move. The movers didn't show up until 1 PM, one of the 3 movers told us he didn't work for the company and was a temp filling in for another mover. This mover had a very bad attitude and when confronted by me said he was tired and had to work at 6am. They basically threw all of our stuff including lamps, lamp shades, small pictures, computer screen and end table in boxes with no protection. We have broken lamps, lamp shades, scratches on 90% of our furniture and art that was brand new. The movers didn't finish until 12am and held our 4 TVs hostage until we signed their paper work and paid the $1000 remaining balance. They left us with glass for the living room tables and gave us copies of none of the paperwork and did not allow us to fill out the damage report. All we were given is a hand written credit card receipt for $1000. Turns out it was Laprom Movers completed our move and not 24Moving. Captital One, my credit card company, called 24 Moving on 3 way call and spoke with Edward who advised that Laprom Moving is a sister company. I advised my contract was with 24Moving and not Laprom Moving. Edward refused to give us a refund. Capital One stated this is fraud, closed our credit cards and is treating the charges of $500.00 and $1000.00 as fraud due to the fact that none of my documentation/contract/receipts state anything about Laprom Moving. One of the four movers was a young guy with apparently no moving experience and advised me he didn't work for the company and was "filling" in for a friend. Meanwhile, this temp worker packed all the boxes with no padding including our lamps, lamp shades still attached, small pictures, base to our side table, computer monitor and printer. All of our furniture was scratched and damaged. Lamp shades all broken. Art work frames scratched. This was not a professional moving company and I did not receive the services I paid for in the timeframe I was promised! Laprom Moving has many complaints on the internet and BBB. This is why they go by 24Movers on paper work but use the same sub-standard, inexperienced rude people who barely speak English. SCAM!   After speaking with Edward at 24 Moving, Capital One has determined the two charges totaling $1500 for this move charged by Laprom Moving are fraudulant and will be investigated as such due to the fact that 24 Moving did not disclose that they were in fact Laprom Moving with an equally herendous track record per customer reviews on the internet.

  3. Do Not Use This Company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They misrepresent the cost of the move by charging a low hourly rate but working very slowing and by hiding OUTRAGEOUS supply costs in vague language on the contract. 24 Moving added over $600 to our move in rolls of tape, cardboard, and bubble wrap, after the sales representative told me that wrapping furniture was included in the hourly cost. Also, 24 Moving has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered.

  4. Liars.

On April 8th, I contacted 24 Moving in Miami, Florida.  I had purchased a house in Barton, Vermont, and needed to move some excess furniture from my place in Delray Beach, Florida, to the new house. Now, Barton is only a few miles from the Canadian border and while Interstate 91 has an exit for the town, I was aware that this was not a popular destination.  In fact, I was quite forceful in explaining this to the rep, Jeremy.  I wanted to make sure that the company felt comfortable in assuring me concerning a timely move.  He reassured me that it would probably only take “a few weeks” to get a truck up there.  I was assigned the job number of C3604. This turned out to be less than truthful. Late in JULY,  they finally admitted that they were unable to fulfill the contract and told me they would refund my payment and I should arrange for another company to complete the move.

  5. 24 hours moving companies.

When I decided to make a move I called the 24 hours moving companies.  They have a list of satisfied customers.  They gave an instant estimation of the cost after collecting details from me.  I always wanted my luggage to be protected, and there were some heavy items cots and other furniture’s with glass and decorative items. Crockery items were fragile and delicate, which needs extra care.  I have decided on packing all things myself, and I just wanted them to do the moving.  They were extremely obliging; they gave me the list of things I have to make sure before going to be moved.  I followed their instructions, and it made moving easy and smooth.  I would recommend them to others.

  6. 24 HOURS LATE moving.

Booked them for a small move and was told that they will come on monday between 12:00pm and 4:00 pm. It was not till my foifth call to the company that I was told at 6:00pm that they will not be able to move me till next day.. The next day comes and they are late, over charge me from what I was quoted on the phone. Not that is excusable but the dispatcher and the people on the phone especially Nick was extremely unprofessional and rude. NEVER AGAIN.. but hey the name is somewhat right 24 hours moving..yeah right! 24 HOURS LATE MOVING is more like it.. Do you think I will EVER use them or recommend them..take a guess..LOL! NEVER.
