They showed up promptly and did their job very professionally. Although my furniture was so heavy, A Plus Moving carried them so fast. They have a huge truck and all the supplies they need to cover your furniture and more. I even borrowed some boxes from them that I forgot to buy. They also assembled my bedroom set and put it back together perfectly. I will work with them again and recommend them to all my friends. Thank you, guys!

Scammed Out of 2 Thousand Dollars!
I did weeks of research, trying to find the best national moving company available. The one who WOULDN'T scam me. And I thought A Plus Moving Solutions was that company, but I was sadly mistaken. They WILL scam you just like all the rest! The service, price, and everything else was great until 3 days before the move. 3 days, which was the very moment that my cancellation window closed in order to get any of my deposit back (over 2 thousand dollars). Suddenly, someone within the company I had never spoken with before (Clark), called me on a Saturday morning and told me that my estimate was too low and that if we didn't raise it, they may have to leave some of my stuff behind. So he raised my amount of stuff by 1/3 but the total price by over 3x... how does the math on that even make sense at all!? Fortunately for me I already had my belongings in a storage unit, so I called them and found out exactly how many cubic feet my stuff was, and when I called A Plus back to notify them Clark never answered any of my calls. He completely ghosted me, as did the original guy who took the reservation (Jake). Then after I emailed that this felt like I was being scammed and wanted an immediate refund, Jake got back to me and said it was out of business hours (their website says they're open on Saturdays) and that we were too close to the pickup date for me to get any of my deposit back. Even though Clark called me "outside of business hours" to jack up my rate to an insane level (19 thousand dollars), no one could be reached to address my issue with this. Finally, after going back and forth with Jake for over 36 hours via email, he said no refund would be given because we were within that 3 day window. They just made themselves over 2 thousand dollars for providing absolutely no service whatsoever! A pretty good score to keep the scam going. Beware that this company cannot be trusted to keep their word and not screw you out of your deposit too! My suggestion... if it's a local move, hire a local company... and if it's a national move, do it yourself!

We hired A Plus Moving to move lots of boxes and furniture from our home to a storage facility. Darion was the lead mover/driver and handled everything from beginning to end. The two-person crew were friendly, efficient, careful, and ran everything at lightning speed. The entire job was completed within 3 hours. Overall, we were thrilled with Darion's job, and his crew did.
Dishonest bullies
A+ was great to work with when we first started- very responsive and made some great sounding initial estimates of what our move might cost; however after they received our deposit, things changed drastically- most importantly they violated their own contract by not providing us with an updated estimate based off a visual assessment of what we’d be moving, despite me even asking about this particular aspect- all we got was a rushed phone call almost a month before our move date asking us to provide details of what would be moved, long before we had time to even estimate how many boxes we would have, etc. Efforts to reach out to both employees I had worked with proved futile. In the end the actual movers (from another company) showed up 2.5 hours after their estimated 4 hour arrival window on the evening of the last day of our lease- and by the time our items were packed we were given the actual price- over TWICE the original estimate. At this point we really had no choice- we had to have our stuff out of the house and basically felt bullied and cornered into paying. I have tried to contact them twice since this happened over email to resolve this issue, however they continue to ignore me. I am preparing to take legal action at this point unless they contact me to resolve.

Easy to book by phone and email. Good rates. VERY hardworking guys who don't muck around - they get in there and go for it. The only drawback is the labeling of boxes if they do your packing. Advisable to be clear on what you want to be packed and what to write. Otherwise, they will write the name of the room it came from. Give Gage and his guys a call.

This was my first time moving, and to say the least, I was very nervous about moving across the country. I wanted a moving company that would be cautious with my valuable and works for a reputable company. A Plus Moving was just that. They look excellent care of my things. My family and I moved to FL from NC. It was a great overall experience. The movers were helpful and careful and indeed went the extra mile.

They are awesome! They were on time, careful and quick. The entire process was fast and smooth. We had pretty short notice for the move, so we called them up a week before our moving date. They managed to send 3 guys over, and the total time they took was even under initial estimation. We paid in cash,they did such a good job. We are glad to recommend them to others.

Awesome team, awesome job. Very prompt, very courteous, and even went so far as to help disassemble and reassemble the furniture and a large art piece to move from narrow stairs and elevator.

The service when making the booking was friendly. On moving day, Hilpert was very calm and thorough with my things. I didn't have any problems, and it was quite an easy day. Would recommend using them.

It took about 9 hours for the movers for a two-bedroom house which the crew unloaded and made sure to put everything back at the new house. What a service it was. I have recommended it to all.
