  1. Amazing company and crew!

    I have used A&C movers twice and both times they have exceeded my expectations. They arrived early in order to start on time. They moved and assembled my appliances and furniture quickly and properly. I would definitely use them again!

  3. Avoid these scam artist!!

    Unfortunately this was the worse service I’ve ever experienced with movers. Although they arrived on time it took them from 9am to 4pm to move a 2 bedroom apartment. During the move I realized they had not been back up to the apartment to finish so we went downstairs to find them eating and taking a break. As time goes on I realize they’re moving slow and although the apartment still had item to be moved we stopped them and told them we would take care of the rest. We all left the apartment at 12:30pm to head to the new house which was 38 min away according to the GPS. They did not arrive until 2:30pm to complete the move. We were told the lunch break they took in between would not be included in our move time. They completed the move at 4pm. I received a invoice for a 6.5 hour move. After talking to the owner he only decreased the rate by 30 min. I suggest lunch breaks are taken in between customers to prevent any additional conflicts on timing and not in the middle of a move. It’s completely unprofessional to scam customers the way you all are. Find better quality employees before you go out of business!

    I would definitely recommend this company to anybody looking for moving services. The movers were respectful, attentive, and very FAST! I have no complaints. Jonathan answered all of my questions, and even went above and beyond for me by accommodating me into the schedule at a last minute notice. If you want a competitive and reliable company give A&C Movers a call.

  5. The Worst Movers in Houston.

    Save yourself hundreds of dollars, avoid working with a fraudulent, discourteous company, and hire any other mover besides A&C Movers. This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had. Jonathon is the most unprofessional, crooked person I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. When I called him to discuss my frustrations about my late movers and ridiculously high bill, his reaction was to be rude to me, argue with me, interrupt me, tell me it wasn’t his problem, and not once come close to being understanding or apologetic. I’m sorry but if you own a moving company and your movers are almost 4 hours late, break 6 items and tear a couch, and you crookedly charge someone twice as much as you quoted them, it is most certainly your problem.
    When I saw the exorbitant amount on my bill, I called Jonathon and he was immediately rude to me, interrupting me and saying that he told me to pay with cash when he called me on the phone and that it is explicitly written everywhere on the quote. It is written in size 5 font, #8 on a list of 15 times, perfectly sandwiched in the middle to take advantage of fools like me who trust a business not to screw you over.
    Jonathon never once called me. I received this quote online and called him to ask questions. It was at that time that he asked for a credit card to put on file for a deposit and I could use the same one to pay for the whole move. He didn’t take this opportunity to let me know that if I did choose to pay with credit card that I would not be receiving my quoted hourly price, but a much higher hourly rate.
    There was also conveniently not a 2 man moving group “readily available” so I would need to get the 3 men moving group if I wanted my move to happen. But for this inconvenience, he would give me a discount on the higher hourly rate. Did Johnathon honor this discount that he offered me over the phone? If you think the answer is yes, I have not properly explained how dishonest and corrupt this man is.
    Jonathon arrogantly claimed that he did a good job keeping me looped in every step of the way. It is not keeping someone in the loop if they have to call you 3 times to find out where their movers are and you call them not once. I was given an 11am-12pm window. I called at 11:30 to get an ETA and was told they were finished with their first job, I was next, and that they just needed to grab lunch before they got to me. At 1:30pm I called again because they still weren’t there. I was told that oh, they were just now finished and getting lunch and would be there no later than 2:45pm. At 3:15pm I called and got more excuses about dying phones and traffic. They arrived at 3:40pm. Jonathon told me they didn’t “break any rules,” that the window was no guarantee and they could be “a little bit early, a little bit late.” It was insulting that he labeled 3 hours and 40 minutes a little bit late.
    I have never been treated with such disrespect and dishonesty. Please look elsewhere for movers if you value your money, your personal property, and trusting the people you hire.
