  1. Damage, late and rude

I hired this company after speaking with Sarah who assured me a “problem free” move. Cowley, the mover was rude, calling me and threatened me with just “not moving my f-ing furniture “ because he couldn’t figure out how to move it. I just received a bill for $180 for repair of the damage they did. The estimate was twice what I was quoted. There’s no such thing as a problem free move with Cowley and this company. Use someone else!!

  2. Do not hire - unprofessional!

Shady company, look elsewhere. I went with them based on price and that they were “highly rated”. According to the estimator, I needed 1 truck. When moving day came, they couldn’t fit everything in 1 truck. In fact, it wasn’t just a little bit leftover, but quite a bit. They had someone come out the next day to pick it all up and would later pack it on 2 pallets at their warehouse that I had to pay to ship across country. I didn’t have any other options since we had to be out of the house and were moving long distance. The items on the truck made it on time and safely. It was the pallets that never arrived. When I finally called to check the status (2 weeks after they were picked up), I found out they were just sitting in the warehouse and weren’t shipped yet. They hadn’t even gotten an estimate of the cost. Then they gave the wrong phone number to the 3rd party company that was transporting it so they couldn’t arrange delivery because they couldn’t get in touch with me. Finally the day came to have it delivered (6 weeks after pickup) and the 3rd party transport company asked if I had packaged the pallets up myself. I said no, the professional movers did that we paid. He said it was one of the worst jobs he’s ever seen and kept telling me it’s just items and they can be replaced. He also made a point to give me detailed instructions on how to file a claim for broken items because he knew things would be broken. The 3rd party transport company pays for 100% replacement value but normally works with the shipper, not receiver. I filed a claim with the transport company anyways and reached out to All Service Moving on it. All Service Moving said they would pay me the full amount right away if I signed the incident waiver signing away my rights. This included not holding All Service Moving responsible for anything related to the damage as well as not be able to post any negative review, rating, post about them. I’m sorry, what?!?! Due to their negligence and incompetent job, items were damaged and I can’t share that to prevent others from experiencing the same? Obviously, I refused to sign. I kept my claim with the transport company. Although our claim settlement was only 1/3 of what I was asking for, I’d rather receive the lower amount and still be able to write this review so others are warned. Let this be your warning to run away, far away from this company!

  3. Recent Moving

The crew, David and Ricco, have been professional, competent, gentle and worked very hard to move many very heavy boxes and furniture. They kept a pleasant attitude all the time and accommodated all my requests. I appreciate their assistance in the stressful time of moving and would strongly recommend them.

  4. Well worth the significant cost.

So, I'm moving from Hollywood in Portland to Troutdale to be closer to my job. Today early in the AM I was deficient in packing everything due to a bad back. The apt manager took the day off & had forgotten to give me the key so I could reserve an elevator; then the maintenance guy took 2 1/2 hrs to get me 1. On top of all that they had decided to shampoo the hallway carpets, making for a slippery stepping experience. Despite all this the moving team of Callahan, Mario & Austin did a yeoman's job getting most of my stuff move to my new place & wrapping up what I still couldn't package myself. The poor team lead even suffered a nose bleed in the process after hitting it on something, but still endeavoured to make sure all my things got there damage free. I can't say enough about these guys; it was the best moving experience in the Portland area I've had so far. These 3 should all get a BIG RAISE!! :D.

  5. Move.

Madge,Pierce, and Dalik were wonderful. My husband and I needed our move done in three hours they did it with excellence and with positivity! Thank you all.

  6. Moving.

All Service Moving is awesome to work with! This is the second time I used this company to move. They got to the loading site on time. Transportation of my belongings was excellent. They used floor coverings and door protection. Nothing was damaged during the process. Great communication from all four crew members: Justin, Cap, Philly, and Evan! Thank you very much!

  7. Great moving experience.

5 stars + —- Our movers were on time, professional, and went above and beyond. Thank you Philly and Justin, you guys were fantastic.
If we ever move again (I hope we don’t), we will use All Service Moving.

  8. On time. Good handling.

Nathann and Jaren got to my place five minutes before the hour and helped me move all my belongings to my new place w/o any problems. Good job guys. Keep it up!

  9. All Service Moving Crew was great!

I had the privilege of having Nathann and Jayrold from All Service Moving helping me move the large items from my apartment to my new home. They called me when they were coming and when they arrived. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and were very careful in moving my stuff from point A to B. I would recommend having these guys move anyone's stuff.

  10. Excellent job.

They gave me a courtesy call to let me know they would be there at 9 and showed up promptly. Worked quickly and professionally, would definitely recommend them to anyone moving.

  11. Recent Move to Longview.

I have moved a number of times and must say this was one of the best moves I have ever made. Mitch and Yaya arrived five minutes late but had called to let me know ahead of time. They were very professional and worked quickly and made this move fun. They were very helpful unloading all of my items and unwrapping and placing these items for me. Nothing was damaged and they made the move in record time. I would highly recommend this company and Mitch and Yaya were wonderful and fun to work with.

  12. Move into storage.

This company was great. From the beginning of calling to get a quote to finishing the job. Had to hoist a couch from the third floor and very helpful getting me accurate quote to do. The crew that showed up was amazing got right to it and moved my other belongings as well. They were fast, safe and courteous. Would definitely recommend them.

  13. Local Move.

The move was flawless. Arrived right when scheduled and started as soon as they arrived. Made great effort to protect every item before loading the truck. When unloading made sure were each piece was placed were Mom wanted them. Mitch and Eyob completed without stopping. Thanks for making Mom's moving experience an easy one.

  14. Bad customer service.

They broke my entertainment center and didn't say anything. I found out when I went to move it from the middle of the living room to the wall. They broke my plastic 3 drawer storage container right in front of me and didn't even apologize. I didn't have cash to tip them so I gave them something that I've had for 10+ years but they did not deserve it! They could have at least told me the accidentally broke my entertainment center. It's not an expensive one but it's the principle. Also, I asked them to wear booties but they only had matts. They ended up barely stepping on the matts and walked all over the carpet..and it was a rainy day!
I will not recommend them nor will I use them again.

  15. Do Not Hire.

What a nightmare of a move with this company was. I have used other companies for several local re-locations in the past so I know what the work entails and All Service Moving failed in every way. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

    1) They were 40 minutes late. I had scheduled my cleaners in accordance with our agreement that they would be there no later than 15 minutes past 9am and because they did arrive and start until 9.40am, they were working at the same time as my cleaners which was chaotic.

    2) This was a local move and it took them 5 hours to complete the transfer of a 3 bed/2 bath condo worth of stuff. Not to mention most of my items were already packed in a ground-floor storage facility next door so all that needed to be covered/loaded from the condo were condo-sized furniture items and a spinet upright piano (no appliances). Past movers only took 2 hours given stairs at both locations and longer commute time. I felt these employees were slow, lazy, and milking my hourly rate to reach the 5-hour mark--literally, on the dot. In fact, they were jamming to music while "moseyed" around with my stuff. Watching them work was irritating to say the least.

    3) One of the movers "ate too much for lunch" so asked to take a dump in my new home for which I had to search through all of my boxes for toilet paper among the chaos. This wasn't a big deal (stuff happens), but was an annoyance on top of everything else.

    4) I paid extra due to the small spinet upright piano and they couldn't even accomplish that. They gouged the wood floors in my new house with their trolley, then offered $150 off of my $1k bill as compensation. When I opted to submit a claim instead, the "Operations Manager" ignored my submission until I followed-up 5 days later, then asked me to submit it again. When he confirmed receipt of the formal complaint, he again ignored it until I followed up 4 days later after which he simply gave me a phone number to call for a technician to buff out the scratch.

    5) Before the technician "repaired" the gouge in my wood floors, she warned me the imperfection would still be visible and will likely fade over time; ultimately, I am not happy with the results. It is right in a main walkway and I can tell it will definitely fade. The company has not yet offered an alternative solution and will likely ignore me again if I ask.

The inferior work itself and excessive bill would not have been enough for me to leave a negative review if it weren't for their unprofessional handling of the issues after the fact. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience and I would never recommend All Service Moving.
