Still waiting.
My items were picked up and a week later im still sitting in an empty house without knowledge of the location or an estimated delivery window for everything I own.I was given a time frame if 3 to 7 business days and that now past. In addition I have had to buy replacement items to cook with and sleeping on the floor wondering if I have to replace my furniture..This has been time consuming and frustrating due to lack of honest communication from the company.The start date of my job has been pushed back due to all of my professional clothing being packed away.I would not recommend or use this company ever again. Beware..The other raters were lucky to receive their items in time..guess I just had back luck..I will have to get the police involved if I don't get answers from this company soon as I am getting extremely worried..

This was my first time ever hiring a moving company and was very reluctant. I had heard how movers loose items, damage furniture, overcharge than the orginal estimation as well as delay dilevery. However Alpha movers did not dissapoint! They exceeded my expectations, they came for pick up on time, packed my things with care and delivered on time with all item in place and undamaged. Mike my sales person was very helpful and was in touch throughout. I have already recomended them to my family and friends.
A good moving experience.
Arrived 1 hour late, but after the late start they made up for it. Their system of packing and wrapping the furniture was very efficient. The foreman Kal was really ran the whole show after speaking with him I basicaly took a seat and watched with out lifting a finger. It was the same on delivery in chicago although they were a few hours late from the original promised time. Othe than the time issues I am very pleased with the service,nothing broken or lost.

We had booked our move through a broker, and the broker is lucky they sent Igor and Sergei from Alpha Relocation Moving and Storage. The initial contracted company backed out on us, and the broker rescheduled for three days later with Alpha. They showed up on-time, worked through the night, and made it to our new house within 10 hours of our arrival. From there, they swiftly and carefully unloaded all our possessions and put them right where we asked. After Igor and Sergei reassembled all our tables, bed frames, etc, they asked if there they could help out with anything else before heading out. Beginning to end, my dealings with the movers and the office staff at Alpha was excellent.
All the paperwork was in order, the costs were clearly broken down, and there were no hidden fees, extra charges, or any of the other sort of trickery you might find elsewhere. I was so relieved to see that the quoted price was awfully close to what we ended up paying, and the overall professionalism regarding payment was refreshing.
The loading/unloading process was precise, quick, and carefully done. Both Igor and Sergei treated our possessions as though they were their own, and I was grateful to see the thoroughly wrapped pictures, blanketed furniture and tv, and the general thoughtfulness with which both men treated our stuff. Here's a quick example to make my point: a fairly large, very fragile wedding pot: intact. A mid-19th century filing cabinet: not a nick, scratch, or dent. So, from the clay and glass to the larger furniture pieces, all made it to our new house in as good a shape as they left our old house.
Moving is tough. That said, we feel pretty fortunate to have had Alpha move our stuff. I hope not to move again, but Alpha deserves a lot of credit for helping make our move quite a bit less stressful.

This people made our recent move so easy! We had a long distance move, which we were bracing to take a really long time and cost us a fortune, but it was so quick and efficient, as well as amazingly priced! I would recommend them to anyone! These guys worked hard, non-stop. If you want movers that are not only affordable, but incredibly efficient and friendly.
