  1. Move from Colorado to Georgia

I have moved over 12 times across the US. This is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs!!

Price quote started at $11,500 then went to $19000 then on day of pick up it went to over $28000

They picked up on 9/6/21, today is 11/16/21 and only half of my stuff has been delivered! No one answers the phone or returns your calls. I booked initially with Trinity relocation group. They are useless once you pay your initial deposit

STAY AWAY from both TRINITY Relocation group and ALPINE VAN LINES!!!

    BUYER BE WARE!!!!!

  2. Never ever ever again

Honestly if I could give them a 0 star I would. The only reason I would give them 1 star is for the actual movers themselves because they were so nice. The company itself however are so rude and nasty. Contract says 15 days for stuff but it’s been almost a month now without an end in sight. They told me several times stuff was loaded and would be delivered for it to never happen. When calling in, the “manager” would yell and say that there is no one else to talk to but him. They would hang up or not answer calls. I’ve been so frustrated with the whole process. I will never use them again. They even charged me a $1000 over what we originally said.

  3. Have not gotten our goods yet!

SCAM. Our household goods are currently HOSTAGE after over a month. Nationwide is the broker. They contracted Alpine to move us from Co Springs CO to storage in Surprise AZ April 2021. We purchased a home in Surprise June 2021 and requested delivery in July. We have no idea where our goods are as we got the runaround from Nationwide and cannot reach Alpine. Now NOBODY is answering calls from us.

  4. A move from NM to GA

Worst moving company ever!! Do not go with them - no matter what you are told. Cost us $15,000 plus for a cross country move. Every time we turned around we were unestimsted. First by All Pro Movers (broker) and then handed to this company that sled for me I was assured of a house to house move and it took 6 weeks! So run fast from these people!!!

  5. Fraud!!!

The Company was sub contracted by Authority moving. On April 14 and as of Jun 6 nothing has been delivered. When they picked up my moms household goods they did not have the proper paper work for a move from Utah to Michigan. If you love your mom just say No to Alpine Van Lines.

  6. TERRIBLE COMPANY!

I would not recommend them to move my worst enemy. I wish i could give them negative stars. I was given 1 price which i thought was good and went with it THEN WAS CHARGED DOUBLE. Came when they WERE NOT SUPPOSED TOO, Not on time, Took several days to get my contents from Colorado Springs to Oklahoma, Rude employees, most do not understand English. My contents was shuffled from 1 carrier to the next, We moved out of a not even 700 sq ft apt BUT YET was charged for 1000 sq ft apt.. kept telling us what they do and do not move..(What they move is pretty much NOTHING!) charged me OVER 5K And moved very little items. We had to leave the majority of our belongings behind or throw them away, they were supposed to pack.. They gave us just a few boxes, told us to pack ourselves, I have ATLEAST 4K IN DAMAGED, MISSING PROPERTY. Damaged chest freezer, The freezer was turned on it's side. ANY IDIOT knows you DO NOT turn them on their sides. damaged window a/c unit, Damaged portable dishwasher, Damaged chairs, damaged vanity table, Damaged pictures, missing jewelry, Got boxes that WERENT EVEN MINE. And I've only just begun to scratch the surface! We are still unpacking boxes. I dread what else I'm going to find!

  7. Torch your stuff before you hire them

You would be better off to torch your stuff and buy new when you arrive then to hire these clowns. EVERYTHING was broken when dropped off.

Literally couldn’t tell me when it was even going to be delivered.

Once you pay Chrishe will avoid your phone calls. The kids moving my stuff where really cool so I tipped them. The guy ordering them around was clueless.

This outfit might quote you lower than everyone else but it’s because all your stuff will be broken and they won’t tell you when they will arrive.

Oh, also they don’t mention you need to pay cash until you show up. Then you ask how to make a claim for your broken stuff and you get zero response.

My suggestion, hire literally any other company. This was completely unprofessional and ridiculous.

  8. Absolute Worst

The original quote covered 6 wardrobe boxes, 20 medium/large boxes, and 1 queen bedroom set. They ended up charging me extra because they picked up "a few extra boxes and peices." Secondly I had my stuff picked up October 17th with a requested and expected delivery date of 29 October. TODAY IS NOVEMBER 13TH, and it finally came. When I contacted the company to ask what happened around Oct 27th, they had no answer and said "we don't know why your stuff didn't make it on our first truck heading there, we're sorry." With the delay, of two weeks, we had to go out and buy everything that was packed with our HHG (i.e. work clothes, linen, kitchenware, utensils, etc). We still owed the remainder of $844 on the back end of delivery and on top of that, spent an additional $1,000 on essentials to live with while our stuff was still in transit. Their customer service "Ron" is a joke, a crooked joke if you ask me, and his counterpart, the one who picked up our things "Andrew" is just the same. I tried calling both of them and explaining that because of their (at fault) delay of our household goods, I had to come out of pocket for necessities, and for that would like a little compensation from the delivery fee ($200-$300) off from the final $844 owed. Well let's just say, Ron (customer service) said he had to talk to Andrew, then Andrew said he had to talk to Ron, they dodged my calls for days with no answer for any compensation. To this day, they are still giving me the run around like I'm an actual fool, but I'd rather you just tell me to go kick rocks rather than insult my intellect. AND PLEASE, if you use a company like this, make sure you have direct access TO YOUR DOOR to wherever you're shipping to/from. They won't tell you this, but if they have to take elevators, stairs, etc, they will charge you $100 more. And for every 75feet after that (each trip) they will charge you $75 each!!!! Luckily this didn't happen to me but this is how they scam you out of more and more money. This company "ALPINE VAN LINES" and many like it should be ashamed of how they do business and treat customers as useless piggy banks for their own selfish means.

A side note, the original person that quoted me was Jack. Nice guy, nothing to do with the trucks or packing. So I take none of this out on him. I would say that he deserves to work for a better company so his image won't be tarnished with theirs.

  9. Tampa to California move

Wow so I was quoted by [NAME EDIT] $1200 for a 15 x 5 storage move from tampa to orange county California the movers show up and quote me 2000 after they told me the $1200 price was for a 5x5, I never said I had a 5x5 I even listed out all of my items and made sure they knew it was a 15x5. I told them I couldn't afford $2000, it was $800 over asking, I told them I could only afford $1600 they said no, then I asked for a refund from [NAME EDIT] the guy who booked my move and he responded to my email saying "stop wasting our time" and You're not getting anything back I've called my bank and had to file a dispute on this transaction terrible customer service and even worse bidding. Total waste of time! Now [NAME EDIT] is calling me "you're such a little kissy I going to [EDIT] is what he told me" wow I just want my stuff moved from tampa to California if not cool just pay me back my deposit, you bidded me 1300 total not 2000 total stop bullying me dude not good for business reviews talking about how you want to murder me, police please investigate!!! As well he has now resorted to leaving long messages on my phone further wasting my time, calling me a [EDIT] where is his manager get this guy fired he has no business working with people he belongs in jail.

  10. Do Not Use This Company - Terrible Service.

I was given a quote from John a month in advance of my move. Two days before, he called me to increase the price - basically leaving me with no other option in such a short amount of time. The scheduling of the actual move was terrible as well - they originally told me they could come in the afternoon but called the day before to change the time. They confirmed they would show up from 10am-12p, but showed up before 9am and left without waiting for me to come home. Literally the WORST service ever. I had the so called owner telling me they were no longer coming and to "figure something else out." They left me high and dry and I had to find a different company in such a short amount of time. The worst company and customer service I have ever seen. Don't waste your time. The price listed isn't accurate because I never actually used this company to move.

  11. No, No, No!!

Chris, the supposed owner gave me a price quote for a long distance move and when I told him I wanted to think about he PROMISED my $200 would be refundable if I decided not to move forward. When I called back the next day to ask a few questions about the price, as I had seen better deals, he started screaming at me. I requested a refund and he sent a text stating he would process it. However, I could never get him to refund my money. I had to have my credit card company fight for me after placing a dispute with them. Chris is very unprofessional and handles his business dishonestly. DO NOT USE THEM!!

  12. Terrible company, Stay away. I opened a complaint to the DOT.

Company charged over 1K over the onsite estimate, damaged all my stuff, broke all my TVs. I opened a Claim to their insurance, Claim organization (CSI) saidAlpineVanLines(SunriseVanLines)is not picking up the phone or replying to emails. I had no other option to open a claim to the DOT.

  13. Awesome Move.

These guys were amazing. The office people as well as the actual movers were professional, courteous, thoughtful and polite. I'd recommend them to anyone in need of a mover. Moved furniture from Long Florida to Texas with no issues at all at a great price. Had to move items up a full staircase and they did it with no problems at all. They were actually a bit early to start the job which was perfect for us. If you need a mover, call Alpine Van lines Movers.

  14. Worst movers.

Dont go to alpine movers. You will end up losing money and all your stuff broken. They charged me 4000$ for 1500$ work.  They try to lure you by giving a really low quote initially, and will charge you like hell, when they come to load your items along .Very bad service and mental torture is the result. I highly recommend you to AVOID Alpine Van lines for your moving.

  15. Best Company I've Ever Used!!

I created an account so I could tell you guys about this moving company Alpine Van Lines moved us from Florida to here in Colorado. They did overall a pretty good job ! Nothing at all was broken and all of my items were here. The big thing that we really loved was that they set up all of our furniture. My husband and I appreciated that greatly. Good company overall.
