    Not The Moving Company For You.

    Please do not choose this company when you are moving. My experience with customer service was excellent, but my moving experience was terrible! I paid twice the amount I was originally quoted. I was charged extra for the use of blankets so that my furniture would not be chipped or scratched and my furniture was chipped and scratched anyway. I was charged extra for moving more than one television. I was charged extra for wardrobe boxes. The movers forgot my tv stand and microwave and could not be contacted to come back and get them. They did not move all of the boxes to the designated rooms. They left trash at the location I was moving out of and the new location I was moving into.

    Excellent Job.

    I recently moved using American Relocation and they did a wonderful job. I paid the same price I was quoted for the job on the original call even though it took a little longer than originally expected because the movers were extremely careful with my furniture which I was very appreciative of. I found them to be a very reliable, efficient company and will gladly use them again if I ever move. I will also refer them to all of my family and friends.

    Great Service Hardworking Efficient and very Professional.

    We went with American Relocation because our friend recommended them. We used this company two times. First we moved local and second we moved to California. I don't remember who gave me the first local quote but it was a great price and the move didn't take more than the estimated time. For California move Crystal gave me a fast honest quote on the phone and answered all my questions, she was very nice and patient with all my hundreds questions I had. We asked 4 guys, the were on time, worked quickly, efficient and were very respectful of my belongings. They did an inventory list and put sticker over all my boxes and furniture and gave me a copy also. We received all our furniture in great condition in less than 10 days, WOW I was surprised, I even didn't expect to receive our belongings so fast. I gave a good tip to the movers because they did a great job. Thank you guys!! I appreciate everything you did for us.

    Moving rates cheap.

    American relocation LLC is by far the best moving company I have ever used.I have moved from Baltimore MD to Orlando fl. I had to pay extra for 1-3 day delivery but even after all the total price still best the competitor by almost 50%.I had a whole 26ft box truck filled to the max and it still cost under $5000.They do charge for packing materials but will use materials provided.There are no hidden fees or extra charges.Once again I would recommend every time to a friend that this would be a good company to call if you are moving state to state.

    AfAffordable and Careful Moving Company.

    We were nervous about moving because it seems like all of the reviews say there are hidden costs, broken items, etc.  Our furniture was very heavy and name brand, so we wanted to make sure it would be moved safely.  Crystal assured me the price would not change unless our inventory varied significantly from the estimate.  As promised, the crew showed up on time in Virginia and carefully took their time to pack everything on the truck (wrapped in blankets and taped sufficiently).  Later that day, they weighed the load and it came in LESS than the estimate!  Both Crystal, and the driver Sergei kept in touch with us during the move.  When the items were delivered in Florida, they took their time making sure they carried the furniture into the house carefully to not bump any walls or damage the furniture.  The items were then put back together in an efficient and proper manner.  We were VERY pleased with the care the team took in making sure our furniture was moved safely!  Crystal was great to work with as she always kept us up to date on the status of the move.  We were very pleased with this company and would recommend them.

    Not only prompt, but early, after call for confirmation they were in the area. Polite, expedient, and thourough with the work they had. This company will be my go to, first and foremost, from this point on. They offer boxes and packing supplies on pick up date at a low rate. They took care of my materials and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I'm also going to say the guys were nice and set everything up neatly. It's not the cheapest mover I was able to find, but you get what you pay for, and this was worth every last penny.

    Local Move.

    The entire experience of this move was very positive.  Gina and Crystal were very knowledgeable and clear with all of the terms of the move.  The hourly rate was very reasonable, all fees were upfront and in line with industry standards, the company provided some free packing materials and no extra charge for stairs.  I was moved from a third floor two bedroom apartment into an already occupied single family home.  Care was taken with every piece of furniture as they were wrapped in the provided blankets.  I provided stretch wrap and the gentlemen expertly used it to protect my mattresses.  The packing of the truck at the first location went very quickly considering the apartment was on the third floor and far away from the available parking.  Once the truck arrived at my final location, unloading went smoothly.  The movers put each piece of furniture and each box into the appropriate rooms, asking for direction with items that were un-marked.  They navigated around items that were already in the house carefully and nothing was damaged.  I don't know how they managed to get a heavy sleeper sofa into the basement, but they did, quickly and professionally.

    These guys were great! The moving crew treated my belongings with care and worked quickly. A great group of guys! The company overall was exceptional to say the least, I've already referred them a few times. Definitely glad we chose them out of the many quotes we received. The price was outstanding and delivery was quicker than we thought. You won't be disappointed.

    I recently used American Relocation for my move. I have to say I am more than pleased. The customer service was exceptional the movers worked super fast, And the rate stayed almost the same as the estimate. I have used other moving companies in the past and was disappointed this is the first time I am genuinely satisfied. I will definitely use them again for any moves in the future.

    Excellent Job.

    The guys did an excellent job getting us moved from one apartment to the other.
    One hour to load. One hour to unload. They didn't stand around and BS or gossip.
    No damages to anything.
    Gina (sales representative) was as top notch as you can get. She has a fantastic sense of humor to boot.
    My only complaint was that the guys didn't have much of a sense of humor.
    Actual cost was less than the quote.
    I would use this company again if and when the time comes.

    Efficient, economical, EXCELLENT.

    American Relocation was top-notch-professional from start to finish.  I read TONS of mover reviews and BBB reports and received ten online quotes (starting at 7,200 from the Baltimore, MD area to Marietta, GA) and American Relocation's was the lowest.  Because I was getting a little neurotic about the wide price range in estimates, I requested an in-home estimate (of three in all) and, again, theirs was the lowest (under 3,000).  Still neurotic, I purchased separate moving insurance.  The very pleasant loading team in Crofton was wonderful, led by Robert, who is an artist when it comes to packing a truck!  I did go to the weigh station with the loading team (following in my car) after they left the house and was so surprised to find that the weight was a mere 80 pounds less than the in-home estimate!  Wow!  How accurate is that!?  This was very important to me because we packed the house ourselves on a very strict moving budget and wanted absolutely no surprise costs appearing on the bill other than the expected packing materials needed for a few large things I could not pack myself (less than $100.00). The delivery team in Marietta was also great.  They worked quickly and took no breaks because the big semi truck blocked the street for about four hours.  Everything arrived intact with very minimal damage and no claim needed to be filed.  From start to finish - the very patient and responsive office staff to the experienced movers at both locations - FANTASTIC JOB.  I highly recommend this company if you are looking for an economical, straightforward, efficient mover. .

    Move to Los Angeles.

    They helped me move my mother to Los Angeles and they did well. I was surprised with the frequency of calls and emails they were sending to update on delivery. Today everything arrived and my mother is very happy to have her goods, I am happy on the other end to have more spare space in the house. I found them through Yelp, they sent me an estimator who was close enough with his calculations of the weight I had to move underestimating for about 100-150 lbs, and their price was good. The only thing that doesn’t make them perfect in terms of this move – it wasn’t for free.

    Great company.

    After a day of thousand calls I narrowed it down to three companies with similar estimates. I went with this one. The advantage of this company is their salesman who is patient as a monk (ask for Alex). You can rely on his judgement in terms of time your move could take (give or take one hour). But the best thing about them is their movers team - Josh and Tyler. If you happen to move with this company ask for these two! They are real professionals, respectfull and carefull - something you don't get from the guys picked up next to 7/11.

    Big House Move.

    It sounds like this company may be great for those moving a small amount of stuff.  We had over 12,000 lbs of items moved by them (large home) and had an unsatisfactory experience.  We had an in-home quote done and asked that it be a firm quote and not change (I recommend doing that).  They did a good job getting our stuff out of the home.  They had plenty of workers come throughout the day and it was finished within about 10 hours.  I had done most of my own packing and had them wrap the furniture and box a few items.  I provided bubble wrap.  They had to use their own wrap for the mattresses and less than 10 boxes for a few random things - which ended up costing about $450 extra. After they left our home, I noticed the mailbox didn't open and close like it should.  I thought that maybe one of their trucks/doors might have hit it.  I mentioned it to them and they took it personally and were upset.  They had someone come look at it and since there was no visible damage on the outside, nor did I video the truck hitting it.  They gave me a black mark for that on "my reputation" with them and didn't treat me the same afterwards.  They also seemed upset that they might have given me a lower cost estimate than the actual cost.  I was honest from the beginning and didn't feel like I should be treated poorly due to their mistake with a misquote. We had our things in storage while we bought and remodeled our new home.  Things seemed to be fine.  We told them that we were ready for our things and they had it ready to come within a week of when we wanted it. The delivery was poorly executed.  They had 2 guys show up with the truck, the most they can send per truck.  I figured that they'd have workers near our new home lined up to help - we had a LOT of stuff.  Two random guys from craigslist showed up to help them - no background check and one of them had never moved anyone.  They had two handtrucks to help unload and transport our things into our one-story home.  Unfortunately one of the handtrucks broke.  It was also a rainy day, which caused delays.  We had friends come help with the unloading and my husband did a lot of assembly of furniture for us. Due to the lack of a second handcart the 4 guys were exhausted - which showed in their inefficient, slow work and mistakes.   They started putting boxes in the wrong rooms and when assembling furniture, the craiglist guys didn't know how to do it.  They ended up tightening beds too much and cracking the wood. The moving world has an interesting policy when it comes to a refund towards broken or lost items.  It is charged per pound.  So the $100 wooden dollhouse that they broke, they paid $18 for.  I also got $6 for the $35 stroller that they lost.  They wouldn't reimburse for any furniture made out of particle board - which is important to note (our last moving company did).  We didn't feel like they were fair when it came to the reimbursement, but then again, they felt like we ripped them off because they underestimated. Overall, I would not rehire this company due to the lack of customer service and the poor delivery.  They treated me like I had lied to them, which I hadn't.   I didn't feel like it was an honest company overall, but with small jobs it doesn't sound like they do as much damage.
