  1. Worst customer service.

    They were days late for my pick up, showed up with the wrong size truck causing me to wait until the next day to finish my pick up.
    They were weeks late on my delivery bumping my delivery date/time each week with one excuse or another.
    They were not careful or considerate with my stuff. I found broken items, trash in some of my furniture, left a pile of trash at the storage unit from their truck, threw my stuff into the storage unit with no consideration of how to pack things correctly causing damagw to many boxes and belongings.
    I will never recommend this company!

  2. American United Van Lines.

    Total lack of customer service; NO courtesy or honesty regarding delivery date; ignored phone calls, emails etc. regarding status of my move. Contract guaranteed July 21, waited until 4p.m., called and someone finally answered telling me that was not a guaranteed date. Asked for guaranteed delivery date, was told they are working on the delivery from N.C. to AZ and would let me know. Did not hear from them after a few days so called them, got very rude treatment from “Frank”, like it was none of my business to ask about my shipment. Reverted to email communication because “Frank “ is rude on the phone. Continued almost daily emails asking for info, and got no call or email. The next call I got was to demand payment in full before they would schedule a date. Tried telling him that if I pay in full before receiving goods I have no recourse in the event of missing/damaged items. He basically told me I won’t get on the schedule without full payment that day. Date was scheduled. Showed up on time. Showed them in to where my things would be delivered, AND HE ADVISED ME THAT SINCE THERE IS A HALLWAY TO MY CONDO THERE IS $395 charge for the 40 extra feet and advised me they won’t deliver my stuff until they receive that payment. Things were FINALLY delivered and they left quickly, probably because they couldn’t dare to have a box open with damaged goods. Sure enough, my 8 place setting dinner ware now consists of 4 dinner plates, 6 salad plates, 5 soup bowls and only 3 complete cup/saucer sets. This entire operation is a fraud.

  3. Terrible experience.

    Horrible experience; do not use them. These people will not communicate with you and will try to collect for services not rendered. Due to an unexpected personal circumstance I had to cancel my move and forfeit my deposit the morning after I signed a contract. My sales rep said I would get documentation of cancellation shortly. Two days later I had not received it, so I called again to remind him and he assured "he hadn't forgotten about me". A week went by; no documentation. Over the next few weeks I sent three emails reiterating my cancellation and asking acknowledgment of cancellation; none came. I finally got through to a person in the office who looked up my file; she said he never did cancel but she would follow up and cancel. She promised callback from my sales rep verifying cancellation; none came. Two more phone calls and voice mails to the direct line of my sales rep were not picked up; he probably recognized my phone number. They finally called me three days before the original move date; their contract state fees will be charged for late cancellations so I'm certain they were trying to deceitfully collect additional money. Do NOT use this company.

  4. Destroyed property, possessions and trust.

    Quote was given over the phone and was raised the $2000 the day of the move. Originally moving truck was for our entire 5 bedroom house, but showed up 1/3 full. They hired locals for cash for a few hours and continued into the night. My neighbor across the street and my yard had heavy ruts from the moving truck turning into and out of my drive way. Another box truck was sent the next day to finish the move. When company scheduled new house drop off, it slipped one week then demanded another $1000 for delivery. The third truck broke down in our driveway, broke our jacks and ramps we used to try and help them get out, and proceeded to inflict damage to the tune of $6500 of furniture repairs upon unloading and rushing into the house at night. Perhaps insurance and many MORE photos would have sufficed. Never hire them. We actually tried to get them to stop at the initial packing. Carrier packed doesn't mean no breakage - most glasses, coffee mugs, many picture frames - all shattered. I filed a claim and was granted $64 (I had the based on .60/lb insurance). Moving Claims.net is the company they use to settle claims and it's not reputable. Stay away.

  5. Worst movers ever.

    No customer service at all. Quoted price was nowhere near what we ended up paying. They not only damaged our landlords house but they ruined our Sleep Number Bed. And we are expected to have to wait almost 4 months for reimbursement. Charged 200$ to wrap glass with 1 cent tape and nasty reused blankets. My son and I had to help with boxes at pickup and whole family helped at delivery when they showed up with 2 people. Ridiculous. Had numerous items damaged and one item missing. Bed no longer functions. Horrible, horrible company. Would advise anyone to never use them.
