Poor value and quality a bunch of theives
Half of my items are gone. Horrible response from Danielle, Liars and miss leading owners. They think they are a big moving co. In reality Mo is his behind his wife's skirt. At least she will try to screw you to your face. Well we are filing a claim for our items.
Please please use someone else
Please save yourself the time and aggravation and book someone else. Atlantis was responsive, helpful, and professional in the beginning...until they got my credit card. Problems began as soon as they received my down payment. I had to call multiple times to figure out anything about my move - I'm not sure what would have happened had I not spent so much time to call, wait on hold, etc. Items were left behind, other items are missing and broken, and I am unable to get in touch with anyone to figure out if we'll ever received compensation - at this point, I highly doubt it, and the missing and broken items, including items that were left behind with no hope of getting back, amount to thousands.
As for fees, their quote was WILDLY off - about double - from what they ended up charging us, even though I provided an extremely extensive and accurate inventory list. They also told us different prices for different services with no record of what they had quoted us. For example, they originally told me it would be $800 to lock-in a date certain. Two weeks later, they told me $2,500. They eventually settled on $1,200. They assured us they could handle packing everything, but they left behind multiple pieces of furniture, air conditioning units, and a few entire kitchen cabinets worth of belongings, with no remedy and no way to get those items back. More items were broken in transit, and they refuse to respond to my claim. They also left our bed frame in their storage unit and realized that upon delivery to our new home. The promised it would be delivered that weekend. It's now been over a month, no bed frame, and again, no response.
I booked our move a month in advance, and they said it would likely occur on a Saturday but could be a day before or a day after. I heard nothing leading up to our move and had to call multiple times to check. They finally arrived on Sunday, 7 hours after the time they said they would be there, again without any communication on their part, I had to call multiple times to figure out if and when they were coming. Same thing on our move-in to our new home: they were very late, with very little communication.
I waited over a month to write this review, hoping that Atlantis would resolve our claims and help us with the multiple issues we experienced, but they have been completely non-responsive.
Run away
Do not Use this company. We got essentially cornered into using them after we used a broker who then outsourced our quote to them who then charged us literally double what it was going to cost from the initial estimate. We still have not received any of our items they do not know where they are or when they will be delivered we have been in our new house for almost a month with literally nothing they cannot update us or give us any sort of timeline they can’t even give us the address of where our items are
Total scam
Save yourself some stress. This company doubled the estimate. Ripped us off and broke many items. There is no one to call and they don’t answer the phone if you have a number. They told me our move would be here On a certain date and it never showed up. The movers who showed up did it so fast I couldn’t keep track of what was unloaded. THEN they wouldn’t let me file a claim. We filed a dispute with the CC company and got some of our loss back. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
Unprofessional move from Oregon to Indiana
We started out contacting Allegiance. We found out later that they were a broker company for Atlantis. Atlantis was the company we ended up with. Atlantis charged us $2630 more than the original quote. They never came out to the house to make the estimate, they said due to Covid. But, two other companies came out and wore masks. Every time they called, they increased the price. Even though I had few total number of boxes, decided not to move our dryer, and took off a large entertainment center. They kept requiring more money each time. I packed my own regular belongings. They wrapped the larger items (piano, couch, chairs, etc). Atlantis came in a Penski truck with only two men to load our belongings. We called after two weeks of no belongings after we arrived in Indiana. My husband and I (both seniors) slept on a blow up bed for one month. It took several days to get them to answer. I then received a phone call from a driver. He wanted to know if I was ready to receive my belongings. When I told him we were in Indiana waiting for them, he was surprised. He did not have the right belongings, because he was not expecting to deliver them in Indiana. He said he would call me back. He called five minutes later, but promptly hung up when I answered.
We did not hear from them again until I emailed Allegiance to ask for their help with this company. We complained to the Better Business Bureau and the moving company finally agreed to give us $200 dollars back for our inconvenience. We have yet to receive that. Ourbelongings finally arrived two weeks later(31 days from the time they left Oregon) in a white truck with one driver and no one to unload it. After talking to the dispatch, the driver and truck with our belongings left to return the next day with two individuals to unload it. When we finally got our things a rocking chair was broken and our aluminum ladder was broken. A large mirror that sat on our dresser (they removed and wrapped), all our yard tools (rakes, shovel, brooms),and the music holder they took off my piano are all missing. No where to be found. I have tried calling and leaving messages, but there has been no answer and no return call. The communication has been terrible through this whole ordeal and very untruthful. Do not use this company.
No professionalism
I moved from Portland Oregon to Rochester New York. What a nightmare. They refused to take my gym equipment and then charged me $400 to disassemble and then reassemble it upon delivery. They lied to me repeatedly about when delivery was going to happen. 3 no-shows and phone calls not answered. Pickup was January 24th. Delivery wasn't until March 1st. Finally they showed up and my things were trashed. Boxes busted open and the contents spilling out, Missing feet for ottoman , didn't know where my television set was, Most upsetting was my gym equipment and they refused to reassemble it and did not reimburse me for that fee of $400 or for the damages to my things. They completely trashed a set of Bowflex 1090 dumbbells that cost me $765. They are not useable anymore. Their arbitration process is a joke. I waited for weeks to be told they would pay me $35. This company is grossly negligent, disrespectful, dishonest and I absolutely regret doing business with them.
No communication
I have now been trying for 3 days to get a hold of someone to find out when my stuff will be delivered but nobody answers to phone or calls me back. My stuff was picked up on April 20th, it is now May 18th and I have heard nothing. From the moment the first guy showed up to pick my stuff up I knew this company was going to be terrible.
So far, so BAD!
This MAY be updated if and when we receive our household goods. Today is April 10th. Our stuff got picked up on March 25 & 26. We called Aaron two days ago, who claims to be in charge of customer relations, and he said that if nobody has contacted us yet to say they have our stuff, then it will be another 5-6 business days or maybe longer. The problem began when they decided to use two separate U-Haul 26 ft trucks to pick up, then move it to another truck for transport! Sine we had two locations for them to pick up from, they brought one U'Haul truck on the 25th, then another one in the 26th. Then both trucks got emptied into a moving van three hours north of us, which supposedly broke down en route (or before), they have never contacted us with any updates, so we are left in the dark, wondering if we will ever see our stuff again. We lived 17 places in 22 years, being military, and this has been the worst moving experience ever. I would say hire anybody else but Atlantis Van Lines!!!
Perfect Move from Naples to Colorado
I booked a move through PurpleHeart Movers and was extremely lucky/blessed that Roy/Atlantis transported our goods; all arrived perfect condition with great collaboration amidst narrow windows due to snow storms; we had several very heavy crates of high value art and other assets. Highly recommend Roy and team at Atlantis
This company is a scam !
Stay away from these movers!!! They are major thieves and prey on innocent hard working people. They opened out boxes rifles through them and took whatever they wanted. The owners Roy and Ori are doing nothing and continue to let this go on. Don’t make the same mistake we did!!!!!
AMAZING
I recently relocated from San Francisco CA to Maine. I booked my move with Mission Moving Group (Broker) after many quotes I found them not necessarily the cheapest but the most transparent and honest Broker. They assigned Atlantis Van Lines to complete my move. The crew arrived on schedule, Mohammad the Foreman I cannot praise this gentleman enough and his crew. My neighbors were equally impressed with the pure uniformed no nonsense work ethic these guys had.
Delivery took approximately 17 days but considering weather conditions and the pandemic i was okay with that, mainly both parties the broker and Atlantis communicated the whole way through.
Bottom line top notch company here. Bravo Mission Moving Group for caring who they send out and Bravo Atlantis and Mohammad for making my husband and my life so much easier to transition.
Huge move to another state.
These are the nicest people I’ve ever worked with when moving. A couple of snafus but they stayed in communication with me until they got it right, and we were very pleased in the end. Thank you.
So many damages.
They kept uping the price on us to begin with, then they damaged a lot of stuff, put a big hole in our wall, broke my glass cabinet, put scratches in a new $6000. bedroom set, so many more to much to mention. Never would I recommend them. They wanted there money right away but when there where damages they want you to wait 6-10 weeks unacceptable.
Long Distance Move.
Rami and his partner were excellent in explaining everything thoroughly. Excellent movers who care about the customer. Definitely recommend this company to anyone doing a long distance move!
Rami Is Amazing!
We recently moved from Arizona to Louisiana with Atlantis Van Lines. Rami arranged to have our furniture and boxes stored for over a month and her personally delivered our items. When I called or texted, he immediately returned my call. Tami kept us informed at all times. Thank you Atlantis and especially RAMI, for making our move easy!
