I Booked Big Movers in the Pittsburgh, PA area phone number 412 489-2693 through the Veterans Moving Help website http://www.veteransmovinghelp.com/  I only needed one person. I paid the required deposit for one person and the balance was due at the time service was rendered. This Company TEXTED me before the arrival time 10:30am to say they would be late. I called the above number and spoke to someone who told me his name was Ron and was told his guy's would be there around 11:00am I told him I had booked for one person (my son was helping me move a 1BR Apartment and I did not need two people, his response was that they  worked together so the second guy would be with him.I received another text message at 10:53 am stating his guy's car broke down but he could send out two guy's and quoted me a rate of $40hr min 3hrs I had already paid a $50-deposit for a rate for one person of $125 min-3hrs with the balance due to the person at  the time of service. Bottom line they were completely unethical all of the information about this had been relayed to them approximately 1week before if there was a problem that should have been relayed not only by Big Movers but also Veterans Moving Help. I wound up with my son who came in from out of town moving me by himself. I definitely would not recommend either of these companies to anyone. I was left in a fix  I had already picked up the moving truck had my son not been there I would have paid out that money for nothing or been subjected to doing business with someone at the last minuet and no doubt being took for more money This was a shady way to get business and I would suggest the buyer beware when it comes to these companies.
