1. Blue Oak Moving for the win!

   We had used these folks to take us from Rochester to Lake Orion. Gee golly glad we had. Moving is a very hectic time as it is. We wanted to be certain on moving day itself we didn't have the same crazy crazy commotion we have had in the past.
   
   Blue Oak Moving delivered and kept us cool the entire day. They anticipated what we needed done and saw to it. Moving is difficult, the mover should make it easier on you. Blue Oak Moving did that.

2. Failed to Show Up

   My mother had a move scheduled for this week but they failed to show up and left us in a lurch. They hung upon my brother too. Do not use these people.

3. Blue Oak Moving Five Stars

   Thanks big time Blue Oak Moving for coming through dependably in our time of need. The day prior to the moving date, we were scrambling to find a last minute moving company. Every so fortunately, Blue Oak Moving was there.
   
   Not only were they on site on time as scheduled. They were there with a smile and a game plan that truly helped us through one of the most stressful times in recent. All around impressed with the work of Blue Oak Moving and would most certainly recommend them to anyone in need.
   
   Thank you much Blue Oak Moving. Keep up the awesome work!

4. The Worst

   This has been the worst moving company I have ever used. I should have stayed with TwoMen and a Truck, who I normally use. They have never damaged my furniture. First of all, they did not give me a receipt when they got finished. That should have raised a red flag with me. They took the money off my debit card that I used to give them the $100 deposit without my permission. Before they had even finished I checked my bank account and it showed they had toke out the eight hundred dollars and something with out me knowing. I was going to use another method of payment. Then when I mentioned it the guy Eric said that we figured we would be finished by 3:45pm so we already charged the card. Mind you they started at 9:30am and I did not have much stuff. Even Eric said you don't have much. So why did it take almost 7 hours for not much. Then I discovered they did not deduct the $100 dollars from my total bill like they told me when I put down the deposit. When I asked about it Jamie who was so nice when I scheduled the move was not so nice after all. She did not call me back like she promised and then when I called her back she acted like she was offended because I called her back. Terrible customer service. Then a Maurice called me and tried to justify why I did not get my $100 dollars deducted from the total. Started making up stuff that they did extra and tried to tell me I still owed them $20 dollars. He promised to send me a receipt in an hour that I did not get in an hour. He never sent it. Then I told him about all the damage that was done to my furniture. He told me a number would be on the receipt that I could call with the damages and pictures. I did not realize how much damage they had done. And like my friend said, they knew they did the damage and did not say anything. Shameful. I am so mad that they damaged my furniture. And everyday I keep finding more damage that was not visible at first like crack and chuck out under my marble kitchen table that I did not see until I tried to move it. I had to throw away my daughters brand new desk I paid $300 for not too long ago because they bent the screws o assemble it so bad and cracked it up that I could not put it together. My heart was sick over the damage. For one, they did not cover and wrap any of my furniture like the company told me they would. Things were falling out of the dresser drawers that I was told I did not have to empty. I think they took short cuts because I was a single woman alone. Shameful how men still do this. You hire professional people so that your furniture don't get damage and then the company don't uphold their end when they say they are insured and will pay for any damage. I heard no more from them when I started discussing the damage. What a shady company. I will never use them again and will tell everybody I know who is considering hiring professional movers, stay away from Blue Oak Movers. As a matter of fact, I already have. I will go back to my Two Men and a Truck. And to think I tipped them $55 between the two and they didn't even say thank you. I guess they figured they should have received more, but if I knew they damaged my furniture like they did, I would not have tipped them at all. Make sure you get a receipt on the end. Because ain't no telling what they wrote in by not giving me a receipt. They knew what they were doing, getting over. I'm still sick over the damage to my furniture. Sickening!!!

   

5. Stay away worst company ever.

   Do not use this company service. They are late for 5 hrs, do not finish the job, constantly taking smoke break, left a bunch of beer on my driveway. They are a fraud stay away from this company. They even lie they said they will be back for second load and never come back, we call the supervisor and he said he will come tomorrow morning and of course he didn't come and do not answer the call. Worst experience ever.

6. Moving job I booked with this company.

   I recently booked a moving date with Blue Oak movers 6-19-20. They never came or called when I called them they were very unprofessional. They stopped answering my calls and it took a week to get my deposit back. I would not recommend this company
   
   Bad Business to do business with.

7. Half a star.

   I waited a while to write this due to the service we received.
   
   Blue oak called us 2 days before our move and they needed to change our move date. We Agreed an another day and I get another call the night before the move and they needed to change again. When all was said and done our move date was changed 3 times. To top it off the mover was late on the day they did show up.
   
   We were not offered any compensation for the difficulty’s we went through. The company did not call us to follow up on the move. The cost of our move was 500.00 over the quoted price.
   
   I will not use them again.

8. Blue Oak Movers.

   We are so glad we chose Blue Oak Movers. They arrived on time, immediately got on the job, and worked non-stop. It was a cold rainy day but they kept at the job on hand.
   
   Everything arrived in excellent condition, nothing damaged and nothing missing. Blue Oak was not a large nationally know company and certainly didn’t charge near what those companies charge. Sometimes the old adage of “you get what you pay for” is true. However, that wasn’t the case with Blue Oak. The crew they sent was fast, professional, and actually concerned with customer service.
   
   If you are in need of a mover, this is your company. The office staff was very professional and everything that she said would be done by the crew was done quickly and efficiently.
   
   I have recommended them to a family that is thinking about moving.
   
   Chose Blue Oak. They are second to no other.

9. Nice move!

   We had a great experience with Blue Oak. They were careful but efficient and worked hard. Accommodated all of our requests and were very fair on charges. They really helped make our move easier!

10. Blue Oak Moving.

    Blue Oak Moving played a significant role in our recent move and I could not be more grateful. We initially tried to get the move done with family and friends. After realizing that was not practical, we phoned in these guys. Sure enough they came to the rescue with three men and a large moving truck. All of the pieces that were too heavy or too delicate for us to handle were done so properly by the Blue Oak Moving professionals. We should have called them from the start!

11. Moved me between two similar size homes, 1/3 mile apart.

    January 3, 2020 I was moved. This company sent three men and a truck. These guys were very hard working. Joe had the most experience and knew how large furniture fit through small doors. When the others were doubtful, he knew how it would work. He was a wizard on stairs. None of the walls suffered for his efforts. All of our furniture was treated with kid gloves. Tyler never sat down. DeJuan was the moves personality. He is a poster child for hard work and dedication. All of them worked as a team. I have never seen people with a better sense of where they are, and what they are carrying, is in space.

    

12. Blue Oak Moving was exceptional!

    Our family called on Blue Oak Moving after a neighbor had received a positive experience. We were told by friends that Joey and Chris had done a fine job for them.
    
    After calling the scheduling department we had requested the same men to serve us. No question it was the right choice as immediately after arriving literally everything in the home was prepared and ready for the move.
    
    We figured it would take roughly five hours to properly load all pieces. These guys literally got it done in close to three. The drive over was quick with literally no extra stops. It was an all around extremely impressive experience. The unload went in only an hour and a half. We saved significantly hiring these guys.
    
    Thanks to Blue Oak Moving and to the neighbor that referred us!

13. Items were left behind, broken, stolen (police involved).

    Very disappointed in Blue Oak but since they have an F on Better Business Bureau I should have known better. Initially drivers (Robert and James) showed up late but had positive attitudes and work ethic. At some point they grabbed my laptop and work ipad and then left things in my carport, stating that they'd come back in a few minutes with these items "on their own dime" so I went ahead and paid them. We waited for hours. They never came back. Dispatcher Courtney could not locate them. Courtney them said that she could get movers if I paid her another $175. My kids bed and other furniture sat in a carport all night. The movers broke our bed so we all ended up sleeping on the floor. Blue Oak refuses to refund my money even though I've sent photos and the police report. I've tried repeatedly to get ahold of the owner Cameron Shea, who also owns Silverback moving and storage as well as a moving company under a third name here in Columbus. Very shady.

14. Efficient and timely.

    Got a decent quote from Jamie, based on a basic description of the apartment. We were on the 3rd floor and moving to a 2nd floor. The movers arrived on schedule, and wasted no time. They were able to take down the complex Ikea bed with built-in nightstands, and got the huge elliptical down those steps. Everything was well coordinated and the items were all well secured in the truck. They wrapped the televisions and handled the artwork carefully. Move-in was even more efficient. All done in a decent timeframe. Markese, Darrien, and Tony were true professionals. Highly recommend Blue Oak Movers in the VA Hampton Roads area.

15. Blue Oak Moving was Awesome!

    We had called Blue Oak Moving after seeing a billboard on the highway advertising free packing materials. After phoning them, we realized that Blue Oak Moving was going to be our best bet for the move we needed done. As they had advertised, they honored their promotion of free boxes.
    
    They kept things professional and informative during the entire scheduling portion. They even sent out an in home estimator to take a look at the service before the actual day of service. This helped prevent any surprises from happening on the actual move day. Helpful as could be, I was truly impressed
    
    The actual move date Tom and Shawn arrived to assist in the overall move. THEY WERE AWESOME. Within moments of arriving, they had us kicking back while they took care of all of the difficult stuff. Helpful as could be, they were a couple of busy bees.
    
    I will call Blue Oak Moving again when in need. I could not be more grateful overall for the good service we had received. Thank you gentlemen.
