  1. Blue bull.

    Talk about bait and switch. So I got a quote from them for a move from California to Florida pan handle. Got a 2500 dollar quote with 200 dollar law enforcement discount. Was happy no problem. Day of move movers are late by 3 hours in a pensky no uniform the show up and low and behold bam 900 more dollars added and they didn't even take everything I had Been quoted for. I call blue sky next day they throw me off to a 3rd party customer service who says that the price is the price. Movers show up today and are handling my stuff like its worth nothing. Never will I use this service again if this is how you treat law enforcement. Absolutely horrified with this service do not use them you will not be happy.

  2. Scam and thieves.

    Please don't hire this mover!! They are a bunch of thieves and scammers.!!
    I have hired them for my move from Phoenix Arizona to SF Bay area. they have delivered my stuff two months late and charged me for storage
    They stole my TV, Xbox, Soundbar, furniture decoration, light stand, my three expensive suits and other valuable stuff. My TV stand glass came broken.They have opened the packed cartons and stole the valuable stuff.
    I fond Virginia and Florida license plate inside packed carton which doesn't belong to me
    This is the worst experience I ever had with any company. Since Insurance is based on the weight of your luggage you won't be able to get much money back from insurance company.
    If you care about your valuable items then don't hire blue sky van lines.

  3. Scam.

    Overcharged by $1200. I used to have to deal with bad customers or whiney customers, so it is very rare for me to ever complain. Most of the time it's not worth it. While what happened to me can never be recovered, I write this review because I want you and your family to be saved from such a loss. Blue Sky took complete advantage of me. In the midst of a loved one's death and funeral, I also had to move. I didn't think anyone would be so wrong and crooked to use this time to scam you, but unfortunately I was wrong. I don't even have the energy to begin to write all the tragic things they did, but I just want to beg you not to use them. I have been praying that they would not be able to scam anymore people. Please for the sake of your family, belongings, memories, and yes money (they will always charge double after it's too late to find someone else,) please stay away from them and spread this word. I will give one example. An old lady's box was delivered you house. It was filled with thousands of dollars (probably more) worth of jewelry, diamond rings, sewing kits etc. I told the movers it was not mine and they told me to throw it away or donate to Goodwill. I begged them to try to figure out who's things they were due to the sentimental value of the items, they simply said not their problem.

    This company is WORST!! I am stating again this moving company is WORST!!
    I moved my 13-14 mid size boxes from Torrance,CA to Plano,TX they offered me quote of $1000. However the day they came & pickup they charged 265$ additional saying extra steps & distances. They will keep their vehicles away from your home so that they can charge additional amount. They said they accept check but on the day when pickup came they ask for ALL CASH amount!!.
    The guys came for pickup were pathetic , so rough behavior..!!
    After they pickup they told me it will be delivered in 7 days.. my boxes got delivered after 15 days. Customer service will stop respond to your call.!!
    The day they delivered, the delivery guy came with a 18 wheeler truck..then he didn't come inside my apartment even though there were enough space. that guy said he can not carry my boxes to my door step. He said if you want he will come next day with small truck & he will charge $500-800 extra. I refused..,that guy dropped all my boxes at main road itself..
    Not even carried to distance which was in contract..
    Worst company, never kept promises. worst service , worst Customer Care.
    Never go with this moving services.

    This company is a BIG SCAM. It’s a torture dealing with such unprofessional staff. When they came to pick up our stuff they charged way more than the price which was mentioned in the quote. We had no other choice but to go with this company since there was no time left to look for another company. I’m still stuck with this company. It’s been more than 30 days now and my stuff has not been delivered. Every single time they give different excuses on the phone and lie that it will be loaded today. Now they are telling there’s no driver available. I’m pregnant and I have to bear this torture. I’m staying without my furniture,kitchen stuff and so much more stuff that was important. I can’t buy everything again and all I can do is wait for them. The fact is I don’t even know if they still have my stuff or they just lost it.
    They make sure that you hire them by talking all nicely and giving you false estimates for the move and wrong delivery/pickup dates. PLEASE ITS A REQUEST don’t fall in this trap. Im very disappointed.

  6. They stole from me ..

    The absolute worst part of my move.. and I'm still dealing with them because they stole items from me that I've been trying to get back for 2 months now!! Including my diplomas and a priceless painting by my grandmother.

    They also broke a dresser that I've managed to move twice myself without leaving a scratch. I had to send in an official claim for that since it is damaged beyond repair.

    Almost every box was destroyed when it was delivered. You could literally reach inside them without ever taking the tape off.

    Once they had my business and deposit I never heard from them until the day before I was expecting to move when I basically had to call them every hour and leave a message before anyone bothered responding to let me know what time to expect the truck or even if it would be that day.

    SO unprofessional. Not one person wears any sort of uniform or company shirt. I'm trusting all of my possessions to you, the most effective and inexpensive customer service element would be a t-shirt with a company logo. Or perhaps a company truck! When that Enterprise rental truck rounded the corner and four men got out in ratty jeans and asked to enter my home and take my stuff.. yeah, that's a horrible moment that I immediately regretted. Also, please explain to me why I had to have $600 cash at time of delivery. If that doesn't send up every red flag in your body then something is terribly wrong with you. They already had all of my stuff on the truck and I was stuck. SUCH an awful experience.

    Do yourself a favor and don't even bother talking to them. They need to be shut down.

  7. Do Not Use This Company - Awffuulllll.

    The WORST experience ever. It is 7pm and I need my items moved in the morning. They still haven't been able to guarantee a truck because, "nothing is ever a guarantee".. They were freaking trained to say that!

    Timeline of events:

    1 month before move : Received bad customer service. Told them I did not want to use their company; wrote the manager Rachel an email stating how unprofessional the sales rep was.
    She called me and said I could deal directly with her, apologized, and promised a professional, smooth move. Offered me $150 manager discount. Needed a 2 day window so I told them that Friday & Saturday. She stated they would call me a few days before the move to update any inventory needed. Dispatch would call 24 hours before the move to notify me of the time frame. The move was quoted around $1350. Paid deposit.

    3 days before move (Wednesday): Received a call from dispatch saying they would be picking up my items in the morning. I told them my 2 day window was Friday & Saturday. He told me they have no trucks available Friday or Saturday so it has to be Thursday. He said there is a $150 "manager discount" for my flexibility. I said, "NO, that discount was because I received bad customer service." He said he would call me back. I did not receive a call back. I called them back 3 hours later and they confirmed that there was no move scheduled for Thursday and it was a mistake.

    2 days before move (Thursday): I had not received a call by 4pm so I called them. They said since I didn't receive a call today, the move would be scheduled for Saturday. I mentioned that they said something about "no trucks available" and he assured me that the move is going to be on Saturday.

    1 day before move (Friday/today): I called in the morning and the reception said they would have my schedule by 1pm.
    At 2pm I called and Rachel, the manager, said she would have it for me in 1 hour and she was going to call me back. At 3:30, I called them and Rachel had gone home for the day. They assured me that dispatch is working on it and they'll call me back before close. From 3:30 - 6pm I had called them 3x - I was told to stop calling because they had no updates. I said, I just want to know if a truck will be showing up tomorrow. Their response was "NOTHING IS EVER A GUARANTEE, BUT WE'RE WORKING ON IT".. What the actual fk..
    6pm - Asked to speak to manager. Spoke with Ann and she reiterated that nothing is ever a guarantee. They allowed me to cancel my move.

    I called another company at 6:30pm and they were able to guarantee me a truck tomorrow afternoon. Quoted me $1800 - worth paying extra without the headache.

    People, I am all about accountability. If you screwed up on Thursday -TELL ME SO I HAVE TIME TO FIX IT! Don't keep promising me that you're going to figure it out up until it's the last minute and you still haven't.

    This company is a nightmare. DO NOT USE THEM EVERRRRRR!!

  8. Do Not Use - Fraud Company.

    Do not use these people. They will be very nice at first then once you say you will move with them they start uping your price and give you the run around. I signed a binding agreeement with all needed information filled out. The contract even said " not able to increase price". Also in the contract is listed my insurance prices and then they told me they don't do insurance. After it was signed they called me and told me they need to increase the price again because they had no other pick ups in that location so it was going to be $500 more from already a price increase of $300 for an increase of location services. They told me after the binding contract that was the final price but they lied. When I asked the girl to speak to her manager she told me she was the manager, then I said ok let me speak to your boss and she said she was the boss. So when I asked if she reported to anyone she said no. I told her how can they change a binding contract and she told me they could do whatever they want. Do not use this company they are not truthful and add extra costs to your end contact. My price nearly doubled from the original offer and contract with no stuff added or change of locations. They started out at $1000 to move less than a small storage unit to $1750. I don't understand how this company is in business. I wish zero stars was an option.

  9. Worst and Fraud company.

    This the worst moving company and DO NOT EVER TRY TO USE THIS fraud company. They gave me an estimate and when they came to pickup the items, they demanded more money and I refused to pay as I didn't have any additional items other than what was originally estimated. They said, they will deliver within 10 days from the pickup date and they took more than a month for the delivery. The customer service was awful. Finally, the driver showed up with big truck and that can't turn inside the community, so he demanded to pay another 350$ for him to load into u-haul and re-deliver again. It's a BIG SCAM and fraud company and I would be really careful with this company. It's lot of frustration and I'm going to take a legal action on this company and hopefully they would stop doing this for their customers in future.

  10. The worst experience ever.

    Once they showed up they said my inventory list did not have three beds on it and wanted to charge me an additional $2,000. After several calls to try and reach the office or management I was told it was out of their hands. No one called me back the drivers just left without saying anything. I was now stuck to find another moving company that was going to scam me and it happened. Also, do not use David & Goliath Moving and Storage. They will get you too.

  11. The Absolute Worst Moving Company Ever.

    Using this company was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business. If you think you have been through the worst customer service experience of your life, think again. Let me tell EXACTLY what will happen if you use this company:

    They will give you an extremely low quote to get you to commit and pay a (non-refundable) deposit. Then, they will give you a pick-up date. They will 100% NOT come during this time or date. They gave me a Friday during the day and after I frantically called them countless times, they showed up at my house on a SATURDAY at 8:30 PM. I had to cancel all plans I had made for the last weekend I had in my city to sit on my couch and wait for them all day since they kept changing their story every time I called.

    Then, once they finally show up, they will do no work. They were legitimately on their phone goofing off for about an hour before they started lifting a single box. By the time they were done moving my stuff, it was 10:30 PM. They loaded everything and gave me a "new quote" - it was HUNDREDS of dollars more than than the original quote they had provided. They also threw in an additional few hundred dollars for "hallway charges" (for having a hallway, I'm not kidding you) and "credit card processing," both of which they had NEVER mentioned prior. Wanting everything to be over and on the verge of tears, I said okay and pulled my credit card out to pay. They then fiddled around with it for another half an hour before they let me know that they didn't have a credit card machine. They told me that someone would customer service would call the next day to get my information to charge me.

    No one calls me for about a week. Then, when finally someone calls me, I let them know what a huge fiasco picking up my stuff had been. The lady, instead of providing any kind of support, understanding, or consolation, goes OFF on me, saying that I had the option to cancel if I was unhappy. I asked her how I could have since they have all my stuff and my non-refundable deposit. She says "I don't know but you could have always cancelled but you didn't." After talking to this wall of bricks for 30 minutes and about to cry, I finally break down and say, "Fine, I will just pay whatever you ask, just let me know what to do." She said she would send me a credit card authorization form - I have to fill it out and send them a picture of my credit card, my ID, and the form.

    At this point, I completely understand what a horrible business this is but am completely trapped and at their mercy as they have literally everything I own.

    She then goes on to threaten me, saying that they will auction all my stuff off if I don't pay ASAP. I was entirely confused as I was always willing to pay and the entire delay had been on their part not getting back to me. She never sent the credit card authorization form. After a few days of living with anxiety that they were going to go rogue and sell all my stuff, I called them about 5 times today and couldn't get a hold of anyone. On the 6th time, I get a hold of someone and frantically ask her to send me the credit card authorization form so I could pay and nothing would happen to my stuff. She does it while I'm on the phone line (thank god!!) and I fill it out and send it back immediately.

    I then ask her for an ETA of when my stuff would be arriving. She then tells me that all my stuff is in my original city, they hadn't even loaded the moving truck yet. At this point, I am about to BLOW. It has been WEEKS since all my stuff has been picked up and it hadn't moved a single inch. I ask her how something like that could happen, when I can expect my stuff, etc. and her answers continued to get ruder and ruder saying "I don't know, how do you expect me to know, etc." I finally had to hang up because I couldn't handle speaking to them anymore.

    I'm truly at a total loss of what to do. This scam of a company has all my belongings and talking to them is literally like talking to a wall. Unbelievable. I will update when/if I ever get all my stuff.

    To me, the fact that BSVL is bonded and insured is a huge plus. I’ve unfortunetly had negative experience with moving companies in the past who were not upfront about this fact and it turns out they weren’t. But with bluesky things were different, In fact, nothing was even broken or damaged with this company at all, though if it had been they assured me they would have replaced it. They even showed me proof of their insurance after I explained my previous experiences which I thought was rather nice of them. I highly recommend them, especially if you are frequently moving over long distances like me.

  14. My over seas move.

    We hired this company to actually move my mother in law from Maryland to Hawaii for us. She is getting a bit older and we have a huge home so there was no reason not to move her out here so should could enjoy more time with the family and grandkids and we can take care of her. That said, neither my wife nor myself could actually get out there to help her pack up her home and move everything out here. Luckily she has a good friend out there so they were able to coming in and help her decide what to take with her and what to give away or sell, but she still needed help getting things packed up and obviously moved across state. So we hired this company to help her out. We explained the situation to them and they were really helpful, assuring us they would get her taken care of. They also called her and let her know all the details as well (although of course we confirmed with her too), and let her know exactly when they would be there to start helping which we all appreciated. Apparently, (according to her), they came in and were extremely respectful of everything. They took all her donation boxes to a goodwill for her and helped her pack up the things that were too much for her (things like books and all her heavier pieces, etc). They also got all of her things to our home within a few days and unloaded everything, explaining which boxes were storage, and which she had directed to go straight to her new room, etc. In short, they took care of all the logistics of this move and made it possible to actually get her out here with all the things she needs to be happy. We really appreciate their help, as well as their obvious care for their customers. She is extremely happy with their service as are we and now we can just get down to some long overdue family time.

  15. Great Job, Im so happy.

    Blue Sky Van Lines really came in and saved the day for me and my family. It turns out we ended up closing on our home significantly earlier than we thought we would. So early in fact we didn’t actually have a new house to move into yet. We really didn’t want to miss out of this offer however (which was well above our asking price in case you were wondering), so we went ahead and closed the deal. This however, meant we needed to be out of our house within two weeks. So we looked for a good moving company to help us out and we found this one. They offer up to 35 days of free storage for your stuff, which was perfect for us, as it ended up taking us exactly 24 days to find and close on our new house. In the mean time however, we stayed at a hotel and we took solace in the fact that our belongings were in a climate controlled environment with no direct public access and under 24/7 surveillance. When you’re going though a stressful move, it’s important you have people there for you that you trust and can rely upon, and this company very clearly allows for both. I’m really pleased with the level of service I received from this company and am thrilled with their level of commitment to their customer’s happiness and satisfaction, even in a difficult situation like ours.
