  1. Agressive, rude owner, poor quality moving and customer service

    A NIGHTMARE MOVING EXPERIENCE.

I waited a few years to write this review since I wanted to ensure we no longer lived in the house where this horrible moving company relocated us to. We have moved 11 times in 25 years. This moving experience was THE WORST of them. The owner/lead mover Arturo Alonso has some very serious aggression, anger issues and is a poor representation of his company. At some points, we wondered if he was stable enough to even finish the transaction. Some of these positive reviews have to be fake. Do not be fooled by them. If you scroll through, you will see repeated mention of Arturo’s erratic, rude behavior. We corresponded with a woman named Andrea (she's related to Arturo) extensively before the move to ensure all details were fleshed out via email. We always want written records and she appeared detail-oriented and accommodating. We had a super local move within the same zip code, and had moved a ton of our posessions in the weeks before the final move. What was left was relatively simple and very organized. We were fully prepared. Can’t say the same for the movers. The crew consisting of aggressive Arturo and what looked like random teenagers, showed up 45 minutes late and were completely unapologetic. Arturo had a weird, standoffish vibe as they were loading the truck but we chalked it up as someone a bit rough around the edges. Our kids and my mom were present so it was important we keep the peace and the ball rolling. Our luck, it started to rain hard. We get to our new home where we had just installed $3,000 of new carpet along with a full house deep clean. We mentioned this to Andrea on 2 occasions via email before the move was even confirmed and she had assured us that “Carpet Shield” would be put down in high traffic areas and that we could absolutely ask to have more areas of carpet covered for $5.00 more. Lo and behold, we ask Mr. Arturo to kindly protect our carpet with more shield and he says “NO.” The movers’ mucky boots are leaving water and mud everywhere, now I’m starting to realize these guys are sheer lazy and crazy and I quote the email that Andrea has sent me. This dude yells at me in front of everyone, “It’s not my damn fault that it’s raining. If you want more shield put down, you’re going to have to pull it up yourself!” Um, say what now? We were left with half our stuff still in their truck, a psycho owner, his untrained crew and the pouring rain so we had no choice. Two of the boys were scrolling through their cellphones, leaning on the bumper of the truck, chilling. I had to constantly remind them of what was sitting there, yet to be done. They had no clue and clearly didn't give a crap. Arturo presented us with a bill that was incorrectly calculated. I pointed out the error to which he responds, “You’re good at math huh?” and then proceeds to correct it. Straight shady. I can’t believe we even paid him but to be frank, we wanted them GONE. After an exhausting day mentally and physically, we were left spending hours pulling up dirty, wet carpet shield that was the movers’ job in our contract. They left with our washing machine bolt wrench, several shelves that were supposed to be installed in our child’s room and we discovered a host of scars on our appliances/furniture. We reported all of this to Andrea and none of our missing items were returned. Selling, buying and moving are already such stressful experiences, please ensure you commit to a moving company with your best interest in mind. True moving professionals want to earn your repeat business, understand word of mouth referrals are the most lucrative and also how important, timely and costly a move can be. We have found phenomenal local moving companies since who have helped ease the typically terrible reputations moving companies have. Please do your due diligence and hire true professionals who care about your possessions and who have common courtesy and respect for their customers.

  2. Shady deals.

Do not purchase the group on deal! It is intentionally misleading! I spoke to Mr. Alonzo several times prior to purchasing the group on deal and he never advised me that I would be charged regular price minus the group on deal. Then when I advised that I was only interested in paying for 3 hours of service Mr. Alonzo canceled stating he could not guarantee he would complete the job in that amount of time. How did he know? I only had 2 dressers and 2 tv s that needed to be moved! Was he planning to intentionally go over the requested 3 hours? Do not purchase anything from this company without getting all the details first! Demand a price before purchasing! Seemed very shady!

  3. Rate.

All in all a great company .They took care of my possessions and
handled them with care .I will refer them to associates in the
future. The hourly rates were great and the two big strong movers
handled everything quickly and efficiently and even navigated two
fights or stairs without damaging anything .they are great
