    Just had Brittania Removals to pack up my house and store the contents for 8 weeks and I couldn't fault them in any way. From the communication from the Office to the wonderful men who packed up the house, stored it and brought it back, they were all fantastic, hard working, courteous, polite men, I would thoroughly recommend this company. They made the whole experience a positive one. Thank you

    This is one of the most professional companies that I have ever come across. The communication from the office was constantly informative and all promised dates met. The initial house contents inspection and evaluation was conducted by a very experienced and thorough inspector. The packing team were brilliantly organised and worked well as a team in an extremely friendly and competent manner. The quality of packing was second to none and the complete service from Britannia was excellent value for money. I had total confidence in this company throughout the move. I could not praise this company highly enough for the service from there entire team and will recommend their services whenever I get the opportunity.

  3. Organised and easy to deal with

    I dealt with Britannia Movers as part of moving my nephew from London back to South Africa. They were engaged by the South African company we dealt with, and were very happy with things from start to finish - regular email communications, a date to suit us, a very helpful team on-site on the day of collecting everything - everything just worked as expected. Based on this experience I'd be more than happy to use them again in future.

  4. Easy company to deal with during international removal

    Recently used for an international move. The administration and organisation of the removal via email was very good and the company was easy to deal with. The removalists were nice and polite. There was a small issue on the day of delivery (turned up at wrong address) which was resolved with a phone call. Face masks weren't worn which wasn't an issue, although would have appreciated them asking instead assuming.

    From our first interaction at Britannia with Katie H, our Move Co-ordinator to our last with the delivery crew, everything just went smoothly in our removals from Vienna, Austria to the UK. A truly great and professional service; the entire team were an absolute joy to work with!

  7. Retirement move from Devon to Wiltshire

    Britannia was provided as part of a retirement home moving package for my mother. After a bumpy start with the local office, which was rapidly ironed out by head office, the move was efficiently managed. Kerry (head office) ensured that communications and arrangements flowed smoothly throughout. We felt our wishes were listened to and that Britannia worked hard to ensure that their clients needed were met. The packing and removals teams (led by Tony) were fantastic. They were very professional and respectful of my mother’s property and possessions. They worked incredibly quickly but very quietly; we hardly noticed them packing items and moving furniture! Their expertise and experience was clear as the house was rapidly packed up but left so that we could have a last comfortable night there. The delivery of furniture and possessions was equally smooth – nothing was too much trouble for them. We felt in safe hands throughout and have no hesitation in recommending Britannia.

  8. International Move

    We recently approached Britannia at very short notice to assist with an International move. We had not used Britannia before, but the provider we had previously used could not accommodate us (in fact they directed me to Britannia!). I am so glad they did. Right from my first phone call with Kerry at Britannia my concerns disappeared. Kerry quickly assessed my needs, gave me a very competitive price and was reassuring at every step of the way. On the day of packing the movers ( Adrian and his partner) were courteous, helpful and careful. They were well skilled in customer service and new their stuff. It certainly took the awkwardness out of the situation. Kerry then followed up with a call to check how everything went.

    Moving is always a stressful time, but the Britannia team in London made it as easy as possible. Everyone is a real professional in this team!

  9. Excellent service and respect

    After a painful flood at our flat we got in touch with brittania lanes devon as that's where we were relocating. They gave us the piece of mind and the extra care and as soppy as it sounds gave extra love to our possessions as it needed to be stored overnight. A lovely lady kerry gave us updates all throughout the move and even after the move even called to ask how the move and how we are. After dealing with insurance/loss adjusters I had lost faith but kerry gave us the extra care/security the removal guys were fantastic and professional and could see they took extra care while packing up the flat. Thank you removals team and thank you kerry out of the 5 companies we had to liase with only 2 surpassed expectations and brittania certainly did that. Thank you ladies and gents.

  10. Shocking stay away

    I moved from Brighton to Houston and have found this removal company to be the absolute worst. Many items broken, the people that delivered my items were not qualified to move someone.

    Many items of furniture just destroyed.

    Even though complained the Directors were supposed to come back to me, nothing!

    Find someone else to do your move, these people are absolutely useless.

    Unfortunately it does not allow a zero rating

    Firstly just wanted to start with a massive thank you to you and your guys for our move. It was the hottest day and they were amazing! They were friendly, professional and just got it done so quickly, we couldn’t have done it without them. End to end fantastic service!

  12. Relocation from US to UK

    Removal service was excellent all round. I've never moved transatlantically before but Britannia helped make this relocation back to the UK a stress free experience. Staff were always helpful and kept me clearly informed as the move progressed. All goods were packaged thoroughly, ensuring that they all arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended!

  13. Broken TV and Chipped Furniture

    I have moved many times and usually use a different firm, but they did not do local moves on the Costa del Sol. I contacted Britannia in Fuengirola - not the cheapest, but their moves are covered by insurance and I thought they are established and could move just wanted our large furniture items and the TV. I wish I never went with them - the furniture in the living room is chipped, they packed and un-packed the TV - this was broken, but I did not check the TV until after their drivers had left and contacted the supervisor who said - what could he do at nearly 5 on a Friday! Nice! I said please come back first thing Monday - he didn´t so I called them and he insinuated I broke it. Needless to say, he was not going to accept this was their fault. Reputation is key and informed him I want nothing more to do with him or the company as I could see he was not going to replace or offer us compensation - it was in fact very hurtful and insulting to suggest we were responsible for the damaged TV - we could have forgiven the other issues to the furniture and the bracket on the leather sofa, but insinuating I broke the TV was unforgivable and extremely unprofessional. I am just glad we moved all our fragile items ourselves. So, word to the wise - if Brittania in the UK liaise with their office in the Costa del Sol for delivering their clients goods - make sure you take photos of all of your furniture, leather sofas and check your TVs are working before they leave.

  14. Friendly, efficient service

    Britannia completed a removal for us from Central Scotland to Surrey. From getting the quote to receiving our belongings, they provided an excellent service throughout. The removal staff were friendly and put us at ease. They looked after our belongings and were thoughtful when loading and unloading the lorry in terms of what might be best for us. Would definitely use again.

  15. Pretty bad service

    Moved many times within Canada using different companies with no problems. Moved to the UK and this company Britannia outsourced my shipment to a local one(Movesquad) and the service was dreadful. The movers did irreparable damage to a table using an electric drill. The customer service was abysmal(especially the warehouse manager) and I would certainly not recommend them.
