  1. Topnotch service.

    I called Century moving services to process my immediate office move. The receptionist Wendy who picked the phone understood my situation, and she helped me to arrange quickly. Special thanks to her and the energetic boys.

  2. Comfortable Ride.

    I've recently hired this service to move from office to office in Manhattan. The crew was super friendly and proficient. They made this process very quick and easy.

  3. Safe move.

    My experience with Century moving services was good. In fact, they helped me to make this moving journey rememberable. Everything was handled with care, and they made sure all the glassware materials are safe. I'd definitely recommend this service.

  4. Never Use Them.

    DO NOT USE THEM!! They used to be All Inclusive Moving & Storage, but had 17 Better Business Bureau Complaints over the last 36 months and changed their name to not show the complaints. There aren't enough bad things to say about the company. Everything about them is a scam and I strongly encourage nobody to use them. The packing was horrendous and broke over 2 dozen things. They scammed us on the size of our move to make it bigger and get paid more. Their customer service is terrible. When I called to complain they never called back. I am going to the better business bureau and the FTC to see what my rights are. I would also assume that every 5 star review is bogus because they literally don't care about you or your move and just trying to find ways to add costs and pack as fast as possible with no caring to damage.

    Great experience with Century Moving! Miguel and his movers were professional, worked quickly and efficiently on an extremely hot day! All my furniture and boxes were moved safely and I will use their service again! Thank you Century Moving! Cost: $700.

  6. Century Moving Services, LLC.

    My husband and I moved from Philadelphia to Lacombe, LA and we would never use this company again. Their customer service rep was rude when I called to pin down our delivery date, as they were late for our pick up. Boxes clearly marked as fragile were crushed under the weight of boxes on top of them. The glass on many of our pictures was broken despite being wrapped in bubble wrap. When they arrived at our street to unload, they discovered that their truck was too big to back from the street into the driveway. Any smart mover would think to look at Google Maps and see that the street was narrow. We booked this move through a third party and I will never use this company again.

  7. Buyer beware.

    Not only was the actual price twice the price quoted but it took them 65 days to deliver our stuff. They finally delivered only after we contacted the American Moving Association who called them and threatened to call the Department of Transportation and police if they didn’t fall through with the delivery. It was an expensive, stressful and emotionally exhausting experience to work with this company and I would not recommend them.

  8. WARNING!! DO NOT use this company!

    There is no point in me pissing and moaning about this company. What I will say is that they are a complete fraud and I would highly recommend you choose another moving company. Oh and let
    me mention the sales team, “top notch”. They will promise you the world and deliver on nothing. Trust me you will regret working with Century Moving.

  9. Terrible.

    First warning flag: they gave me a 3 day window but said (on the phone - we’ll come back to it) they’d honour specific dates if I had parking or building restrictions. I sent an email an hour later, having booked special parking but didn’t get a written response. Instead, my partner was assured (over the phone) repeatedly that my chosen date was fine. Morning of move date, at 9 a.m, I get a call starting with ‘looks like there’s been a misunderstanding and we can’t move you til tomorrow’. I’m furious, so I say ok and put the phone down to calm down. Call back and explain to them the whole process only to be told that in the written contract it always said 3-day window and it’s in the contract and it’s not their problem what someone may or may not have said.
    Second warning flag: they offer to come next morning at 6 to avoid traffic, but don’t show up until 9. At this stage I just want to get it done so I’m like whatever. I watch as two of the guys carry things down and one basically sits in the truck. My boxes, even the ones marked FRAGILE are thrown in with zero care.
    We get to the other side, and they spend 30 minutes saying they might get a ticket if they park where I want them to park and I’d have to pay for it. I say fine, but they decide that one guy will stay in the truck and the other 2 will unload. All my belongings are now sitting on an NYC Street, about 200yards from the entrance of the building, and no one to watch over them (I only find this out when I come back from buying them lunch and cold drinks as it’s a hot day. More fool me). Once everything is unloaded, one guy starts driving the truck around the block ‘to avoid a ticket’, which I would have been charged anyway, leaving two guys to do the work. Even though I’m paying for 3 men per hour, not 2.
    They break the elevator. We spend an hour waiting for the repairman (again, I’m paying for the time, remember), who comes and says that their pushing on the door unhinged the wheel and he doesn’t have the part.
    Now the head office says that if I want them to keep working I’ll hve to pay extra for the stairs and the extra time it will take. I point out it’s their fault for damaging the lift and I get told to pay $1,400 for ‘time already spent’ (even though a good 2hrs at this stage have been just not doing much and the guy in the truck has completely disappeared), threatening to leave my belongings on the street if I don’t pay up.
    So I pay, using a credit card I keep for emergencies and which I haven’t used in a few months. One of the movers reads the card details over the phone, which no one questions even though it’s illegal as they shouldn’t accept it other than from the card holder.
    Couple of hours later, head office calls again and says they’ll charge me another $400 upfront for the next few hours and if it takes less time then tough, but if it takes more time they’ll charge me again. Again they threaten to dump my things on the street if I don’t comply. Again my card details are given over the phone to someone I don’t know by one of the movers.
    Meanwhile I’m carrying my stuff up the stairs to try and get things moving.
    Two hours before they finish, the third guy shows up again, says hey should leave my stuff and they can come back tomorrow, but luckily the other two are nice kids and say no.
    Finally, 10 hours after the first arrived that morning, they leave. No one walked through with me to make sure everything was accounted for and not broken (spoiler: things were broken, including a sofa), received no receipt for what I paid, nothing.
    So I’m disputing the charges, but between the threats, outright racketeering, waste of 2 days’ work for me, an apartment in shambles (everything was just dumped in, furniture was left unwrapped and sitting upside down or on its side), oh and missing a close friend’s funeral thanks to their shenanigans, frankly even if I get some of the money they extorted from me back, I will still feel traumatised by the experience.

    Oh and all this was for a move of less than 5 miles by the way. $1,700 and 10 hours. Let that sink in.

    Coincidentally, a few days later, two fraudulent charges of over $500 are made on this credit card. The one I had used for the first time that year with them. The one whose details were read to persons unknown who also had my full name and address. I’m not accusing anyone, but make of that what you will.

    Bottom line: these people are aggressive, unprofessional, will gouge you for money by threatening to withdraw their services once they know you have no other option, will threaten you, will overcharge, will charge for work not done (the third guy who I was paying apparently but who disappeared for hours, leaving me to do his work and thereby also extending the number of hours they charged me for), and break your stuff.
    Do yourself a favour and hire someone else.

    What a team! They packed with care and sensitivity, plus speed, and they were gentlemanly, on time, careful, respectful and completely competent. I will definitely use their service again.

  11. Refused to offload my belongings without extra cash.

    This company refused to offload my belongings from their truck until I paid an additional $350 above the quoted amount for the service "in case the offload time took longer than the original quote reflected".. of course I paid because what else could I do, and I paid in cash because there is a 6% credit card fee.. and then they left without refunding the money despite the service taking one hour less than the quoted time. They left without even speaking to me "we're just going to check the truck for any last boxes" and never came back. The whole experience was unbelievable, and despite multiple calls and emails they still have my money.. oh, except I was verbally abused by their customer service representative when I asked for the $350. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

  12. Do not "walk" away from using this so called company- RUN!

    Using this company was the biggest mistake ever - no, actually not reading the reviews on YELP first was our biggest mistake. Do not be fooled by any nice or professional sounding employees who might happen to answer the phone during your initial call. Just about everything they initially told me was a total lie, they hold your belongings hostage & do not give you an exact delivery date! I could go on & on, but to save myself & anyone who is even thinking about using this "company", please read the reviews & do NOT!!

  13. Lost 500lbs of my goods, overcharged and many broken items.

    I originally hired Coastal Movers who performed a Bait and switch by umbrella company left me with these movers. I didn't have any notice that they would be handling my goods so I didn't get to review them before hand.

    Scale weights didn't occur on the day of the move. Lost 500 lbs of my things. Charged me higher rate of $0.75/lb for almost most double the estimated weight which nearly doubled my quote, then lost 500lbs so I paid $375 for the lost goods, only reimburse for $0.10/lb no reimbursement for lost goods.

    Special plastic bins purchased for move, bins and boxes destroyed. Several calls to company, promised response, got none.

    Goods can't be located and I can't recall every item in those boxes as they were packed almost a year earlier and in storage.

    Unloaders were casual labor hired locally and demonstrated little care. Bike broken, antique table broken at main column, heirloom pieces lost/broken.

    Dont do it. It appears now that there were several clients who experienced bad service and difficulties. Wondering if we need a class action suit against century and coastal. Sounds like this happens all the time.

  14. Do Not Let Your Stuff be Hostage.

    AMERICA WIDE RELOCATION/ CENTURY MOVERS

    They just take your money. Do not get involved in moving at all.
    They just sub contract it out. Take one third of money and do not answer your calls. Do not give you any estimates of pick up or drop off.

    DO NOT GET INVOLVED..DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.
    DO NOT GET YOUR STUFF TO BE HELD HOSTAGE.

    MY STUFF WAS PICKED UP ON 5TH OF AUGUST by CENTURY MOVERS. I DO NOT HAVE IT YET. THEY ARE SAYING IT IS GOING TO TAKE TWO MORE WEEKKKKSSSSSSS AS THEIR TRUCK IS NOT FULL YET.

    Mind you I was told by the general manager (so called) that only reason my stuff is not going to reach in time is if there is flood, there is fire or their truck turns over..
    Not professional at all.

    Have to give one star for no reason.

  15. Beware this company.

    Beware this company, during pick up they told me the truck broke down and they again had to delay pick up 3 more times after that (and I heard from another client the "truck broke down" story is common)

    I was told I would get a discount since the third time they moved pick up messed up my travel plans, which they later retracted and when I asked to talk to a supervisor to find out why they said no I can't talk to him.

    I was told my furniture would arrive within 10 business days, the drop off day just like pick up day kept getting delayed, and then on the 10th business day after I called to find out where my stuff was they said "oh it's going to be 30 days now"

    I tried to pull up the contract to reference to them why that was not okay, and lo and behold the link where the contract was now disappeared and was replaced with a website that said "This Job is Booked"

    I still don't have any of my furniture, they won't tell me when it will come, and they won't let me talk to the supervisor when I call.

    Stay away to avoid stress and wasted time and money .
