Fraud Company: Lost $400.
I was moving from RI to Utah and worked with Jay Stevens. Two of my family members also used them back in May and miraculously had movers show up. They brokered both of their moves to the "A-team" in Texas who are a 1 star moving company and they both had terrible experiences with many boxes lost, broken, and a surcharge of over $2,000.
On my move I was worried about them the whole time because they were so unresponsive but I had already paid the $400 deposit. The day before our move in June we still had not heard anything and I realized this was a scam. We quickly had to hire another moving company to come the next day and were out several thousand extra dollars for the late notice. We kept calling and emailing Jay Stevens and had one email returned 3 days after our scheduled move saying he was working on it. Since then, no other contact and their website and phone numbers have been taken down.
Note to self, never trust a company that will not accept credit card! Because of that there is no way to get my $400 back or the extra we had to pay a different moving company.

Do Not Use This Company.
It is totally scam. Jay Stevens and Roberto are the representatives that I talked to. They asked me to deposit money. After then, they never received my call. I lost $300 for deposit. I did police report but I do not think the police will catch them. Anyway, this company is totally scam.

This Company is a FRAUD! You will be contacted by a Jay or Eric from phone number 704-209-9109. They will ask for a deposit and once complete YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM!
Do Not Use This Company.
They took my deposit and ran. They never showed up and they will not answer my emails or phone calls. Do use this company. Especially if someone named Jay is your service rep. He will answer his phone and emails up until your move date arrives and than nothing. I have filed a report against this company with BBB. Even they can't get them to answer the complaint.
Great Movers.
We used Coastal moving and storage to move a 2br apartment from Santa Cruz, Ca. The local mover provided excellent service as well as professional packing. We were advised of a last minute move by my husbands company and were basically on very thin time schedule. We were greeted by nice movers and everything went exactly as directed. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quality mover thanks again guys.
Fraud Consumers Beware!
This is not a real company. This is an individual that goes by different names (Jay Stevens or Roberto) that operates from an unknown location.
He took a $300 deposit and never sent movers to pick up my boxes. He will not return phone calls or emails. I have reported this to the FBI online crime investigation unit, the BBB and the Dept. of Transportation.
Also, read the content on his website, it refers to a Barber shop and not an actual moving company. I hope the local authorities can help me get my money back.

I am very impressed with the work of Coastal Moving and Storage. They offered me a very good deal at the first place and executed the move effortlessly. Everything was nicely planned and executed. They never panicked, never tried to experiment much, kept the basics right and completed the move within the schedule. Their price was moderate and accuracy was 100%. This mover went the 2nd mile to make the move successful. They were skilled, well-mannered and supportive. They told me that they would do whatever possible to convince us. Though they didn't work at prompt pace but their job was thorough and effective. I had a piano and they were able to move that without slight damage. I would like to recommend them especially to all of my acquaintances. They are a highly successful moving company and I wish their every success.

I contacted with Coastal Moving and Storage to move my cousin’s belongings. He was very busy so I hired a mover on behalf of him. All their movers worked at balanced and prompt way. They took apart big furniture. They ran out of time during the process to reassemble and couple of volunteer came back to complete the move. I told them to finish the service on next day but they were adamant to finish on time and they completed everything! These guys are wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommended.

This is called impeccable service! Recently I moved from Tennessee to Indiana and struggled to find out a real professional company that could relocate our belongings in timely manner and without any hassle. Fortunately I was able to manage Coastal Moving and Storage through one of my buddies. I can’t say more about their efficiency. They are master in moving and are an honest company to work with. The crews emphasize equally in every sector. They revealed me every step clearly, no secrecy. They took great care of my stuffs throughout the move. I am very pleased on them and recommend them for their excellent work.
A recommendable moving company.
I had always enlisted the help of friends to move my stuff into a new home. This time I had a few pieces of furniture that required something bigger than a pick-up truck or SUV so I opted to hire some pros. Dorian and his team arrived promptly at their scheduled time and got right to work. As a first timer for hiring movers, I felt like I made a great decision as they were able to complete the job in at least half the time if I'd try to do it on my own with a few buddies. Plus they have all the necessary equipment to move pretty much anything (as you would expect.) I did research and got quotes from other moving companies. Jenny and Robin at Coastal Moving and Storage were super nice and efficient and gave me competitive rates and the guys were really efficient and punctual. The estimate was right on the mark so I paid exactly what I expected. These guys are fast and friendly and know what they're doing. Your belongings are in good hands with this moving company.

The crew were on time, both were well dressed, courteous, and well behaved. All our items were very well arranged inside the truck to save the truck space for loading more items. Not even a minute was wasted by them. Throughout their loading and unloading they were professional and doing their job. Overall, they completed the task of loading and unloading in about five hours. We were very pleased with their work, and would recommend Coastal Moving and Storage for anyone that wanted to move.

Ryan, Rosevelt and Peter were incredible. These employees have been kind and helpful at all times. I worked at customer service for long time and keenly aware of this profession. They worked at prompt pace and efficiently, wasting no time that I observed. They were very conscious about what to do. I have been very busy with some other works, so I couldn’t provide them assistance when they came to load, but their polite and skilled crews took good care of every item which cannot be described in mere words. I would like to thank them again and definitely eager to relocate only with the help of Coastal Moving and Storage.

They were so great from the start. Very nice and professional! The movers were fantastic as well! Vital kept in contact with me throughout the whole entire move. Nothing was damaged but I believe it was because they wrapped everything up so well!! The best part is that they were there when they said they would. They kept their word throughout the move!
