  1. A+ Service

I’m extremely satisfied with the move. Initially I thought it would be a disaster and my stuff would not arrive on time. But they far exceeded my expectations!.. I hope I don’t have to move again. But if I do I know who to call

  2. Taking advantage of blind peoples disabilities.

THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF DISABLED PEOPLE!!

What an atrocious sales team. These people were so pushy with getting our deposit even after me clearly telling the lady no I don't want to pay it today. She insisted if we put the payment in a certain way that the money wouldn't come out for a few days and sure enough it came out sooner than she said even after we had contacted the company to cancel services because we had changed our mind on the whole move together. This led to overdraft fees on top of everything. After I email them irritated that the money was taken out in the first place 2 days after I tried to cancel they responded with oh our policy states if moves are canceled withing 14 days of the move the deposit is not refundable. Definitely explains why the lady so pushy and insistent that we give her our bank info right then and there. This woman knew My boyfriend is legally blind and I was in a car trying to get my friends dog to the vet so we obviously couldn't read this policy right then and there but was fully aware that no matter what this would be an easy pay day for her. My boyfriend had recieved a call from someone when we wanted to cancel and the man told him he didn't want us to get stuck with a non legitimate company so he called to clarify what that would be since apparently taking a disabled man's money is legitimate the woman informed him that it was the 3rd line in the cancelation policy my boyfriend asked her "well im blind so how does that do me any good?" Her response was getting fussy telling him well I can't help you and hanging up on him. This was a disgusting example of how these people manipulate and steal from disabled people I can only imagine what they get away with with poor elderly individuals. Sure they say that with the deposit we can reschedule the move withing 12 monthes but not only are we not moving anymore there's no way in hell I would ever trust these people with my belongings and would never give them more money that's for sure.

  3. Threated to kill me and my family.

I left a poor review years ago on a different platform. The supposed owner called me today stating that because I left a poor review, he was going to come to my new address and kill me and my family. Im not worried, just more annoyed because it took him so long to respond!

  4. Worst experience ever.

I used Coastal Moving Group to move from Massachusetts to Florida in 2017. I have moved many times with many companies and this was the most horrible experience I have ever had. The company that picked up my goods insisted on more money after they loaded the truck in spite of the fact that I had a guaranteed price. Conveniently, it was after hours and no one at Coastal could help me other than to tell me to give the movers the money and they would sort it out the next day. They never did, claiming that I gave up my rights to recourse when I gave the driver money. The moving company lost many things, including irreplaceable antiques and family treasures. Coastal was of no help in trying to resolve anything. It has been two years and I still get upset everytime I miss something that was important to me. I wrote a review right after I moved but it seems to have been taken off the website.

  5. Moving From Michigan to Florida.

My move from Ann Arbor, MI to Avon Park, FL in July 2017 has been exasperating and frustrating. They contract out their trucks so one team picked up and another delivered. I am missing six items that include an under the bed shoe storage that contain shoes that can't be replaced, black antique piano stool, Ricca vacuum cleaner, an 8 ft. x 5. ft. Native American rug, black floor lamp and desk chair. I have called the company who scheduled the trucks and they said they would look for my missing items because they think they might be in the Chicago warehouse where they must have unloaded the truck with my items but nothing has been resolved. I even have a claim number. They are not returning my phone calls and I have been left on hold for 20 minutes. Upon receiving my furniture I was told that I was overweight and owed them another $647.20. The total move cost me $3,665.33 and was not worth the missing, broken, damaged and lost or stolen items. I am still very upset about this and also the fact that no one has really tried to help me in trying to locate my things. I even sent a list of the missing items and pictures of all the damage including broken antique bowls from family members, broken leg on armoire, broken trim on curio cabinet, etc. I still have all the broken dishes, pictures of damaged furniture and damaged boxes for inspection.
Next time I move I will rent a U-Haul truck or use a POD where all of my things will be in one place and not moved from one truck to another. They don't seem to be organized and are very careless. I paid them to move me not lose my belongings. I have already contacted an attorney.

  6. Coastal moving group.

Beware!! Worst company ever and very unprofessional. They have my stuff and refuse to return my phone call to tell me where it is. I will be contacting the sheriff and the attorney general. This company will lie to you and make your move a living nightmare!

  7. The worst moving company ever.

Mr. Chris Parker at Coastal Moving Group told me they had their own trucks, and they would complete my move. I was quoted a price of $2786.30. The day of the move they increased the price of the move by $1100 and handed my move off to another company. I have much difficulty of getting them arrange a date to deliver my belongings. They arrived about two months later with several broken items. I called the office several time, each time, they would lie, or say no one is available.

  8. Don't become fools by booking your move with this Coastal Moving Group.

Guys, don't book your move with this Coastal moving group. This CMG company gives the contract to third party moving company (for our move it was with Revolution Moving Systems). We might get attracted with the small quotes which they offer initially but later on they'll say some reason and they'll increase the quote value (Not in hundreds of dollars but in thousands). Even though if we agree for that amount also we don't get our items safely shipped. They'll steal the costly items and doesn't respond properly when we enquire about those. The guys who come for pickup are very bad in packing the items. They don't use proper material to pack the items. If we raise any doubt they'll just simply say one thing like ''We'll be doing this work daily and we are clearly aware of how to pack the items."

These people are such irresponsible that they don't even check whether they loaded all the items from the warehouse into the truck correctly. Even that driver clearly stated to me that they didn't load few items from their warehouse into the truck and he marked the same in the household goods delivery inventory list as well. But still they're so confident that they can deliver the items even though many items are missing. When they came for the delivery they demanded us to pay the money first inorder to download our items.

Finally when my things got downloaded, all the items which we packed on our own came safely and the items which this company guys packed came totally broken and many costly items are missed.

I lost almost half of my valuable important stuff by booking a move with this CMG. I'm missing my 65" Samsung LED TV and 6 big boxes which is containing all my valuable stuff and one luggage bag which is containing all my costly traditional Wedding wear. All my items are broken and all of my furniture is broken and got chipped off. I lost all of my lifetime memorable things within one move by this company :-( :-( :-(

I would never ever refer this company to any of my friends and relatives.

  9. Very misleading BROKER.

BROKER!! They tell you a really cheap price then a real mover shows up an tells you they can't do the move for that price and quotes a really high price that you can't afford then they wont give back your depost and call you a liar when I is them whom are lying.

  10. Excellent service!!

Blake was amazing!! Not only from the time he called to set up everything (which took a lot of coordination) everything was so organized and well planned out and the move was perfect. Nothing was broken or misplaced and I had a direct line to Blake if I needed anything. I work with military families and I highly recommend this company!!

  11. DO NOT book your move with Coastal Moving Group.

DO NOT book your move with Coastal Moving Group under any circumstance. Coastal Moving Group may seem like a good option, because their representatives are so fast to respond to your initial request for movers. Don’t be fooled-they’ll only pay attention to you when they’re trying to get your money. In fact, if you’re reading this review after having paid their initial fee, do yourself a favor and cancel within their 72 hour grace period. Trust me-it’s for the best.

This company provided no benefit to me, and caused me and my husband a lot of stress and inconvenience. Their disorganization and utter callousness made my eighth month of pregnancy a living nightmare. Here are some things you should know about Coastal Moving Group:

    1) Coastal Moving Group does not actually participate in your move, and will give you no say in who will actually move your belongings. Instead, they will book your moving contract with another company, and then ignore you. In my case, they picked a company that was rated F by the better business bureau, which I would never have selected on my own based on their rating. I left several phone messages with Coastal Moving Group trying to discuss their “carrier” selection with a human being, but no one ever called me back. This speaks to their unwillingness to discuss their service with their customers, unless they’re trying to get your money.
    2) Coastal Moving Group does not provide an accurate estimate of the costs of the moving service-you will pay a lot more than expected in the end. I found out after booking with their company that it is best practice for a moving company representative to visit your home to prepare an accurate set of moving costs. Instead, Coastal Moving Group prepared one over the phone. When the actual movers arrived, they packed all our things in their truck and THEN told us that our actual moving costs should be double the original estimate (SURPRISE!). Since our apartment’s lease ended the next morning, and our stuff was already in their truck after hours of packing, did we really have a reasonable response other than to pay the increased price??
    3) Coastal Moving Group did not tell us how to fill out the moving company’s form to have our belongings shipped in any reasonable amount of time. On the mover’s sheet, there was a box labelled “first available delivery date”. When our belongings were picked up on August 9th, we put the first day we would be available in our new city to receive our belongings, like any reasonable person would (August 28th). Coastal Moving Group waited until 2 days after we filled out the form to inform us that our belongings would be held in the shipping state (in our case, California even though they started in Oregon….), then arrive at the destination WITHIN 5-21 business days AFTER THAT. Yup-you read that correctly. For my eighth month of pregnancy, we slept on an air mattress, with no dishes, microwave or coffee maker, and nothing to do in our new apartment in a new city where we didn’t know anyone. The company that Coastal Moving Group hired as our “carrier” turned around and booked movers from A DIFFERENT COMPANY to pick them up. That’s right-Coastal Moving Group hired a carrier moving company to move our belongings, who in turn is actively trying to hire someone else to do the job (we had zero say in selecting either company). Where is the accountability?? Who is responsible for our stuff? Not even we know…
    4) Coastal Moving Group truly does not care if or when your belongings arrive, and will do nothing to help you learn where they are, when they will be shipped, or when they will arrive. After they received their money, the very rare time that they answered their phone, they told me they didn’t know anything, wouldn’t help me, and that I should phone the carrier directly instead. The owner of the carrier moving company answered my phone calls about once a week, and always said the same thing “I think a truck with some movers is coming soon, I’ll give you an update, call me tomorrow”, but never gave any updates or answered my follow up phone calls. When I explained this to a Coastal Moving Group representative on the phone, they told me they could do nothing, and told me to keep calling the owner and that eventually he would answer the phone. Our belongings finally began moving from L.A. to Massachusetts the day they were required to be delivered by law (Sept. 26th), and arrived on Oct. 4th. Coastal Moving Group did not offer to compensate us in anyway for their extremely late delivery, and their poor customer service.

In Summary: Coastal Moving Group will give you an unrealistically low estimate for your moving costs, while initially seeming very responsive to your phone calls. After the 3 day grace period, you’ll find out that they selected a low-quality carrier to actually move your belongings, give you belated instructions on how to fill out forms related to the move, ignore most of your phone calls, and brush off any questions or concerns you have your move. Do NOT accept a contract with Coastal Moving Group under any circumstance.

  12. Thank you coastal moving group.

My name is Jim Stover I was looking to move from Connecticut to Florida after my mother-in-law passed away we needed to move all of her belongings are in a short period of time I had many movers call me and all tried to rush me just to get me to walk in the quote they gave me as they all said then I found a man named Phil at Coastal Moving Group Call Out he was a moving coordinator who took the time in full detail to ask me exact measurements of my mother-in-law's belongings he gave me a very accurate estimate he made a very stressful situation as stress-free as possible so I decided to give them my business as promised the movers showed up on the day they were supposed to they are all very courteous and gentle with all of the belongings I do have to admit that it did take about a week later than expected to get the belongings in Florida but that was not their fault it was due to weather I just want to say a special thanks to Phil and the crew it Coastal Moving Group Call Out thank you so much for being there when I needed it A plus from me and my whole family.

  13. Missing items.

They didn't tell me their company doesn't do the actual moving before and after I signed the moving contract. The Executive Moving and Storage delivered my stuff to us with damages on almost all the furnitures, and most importantly. 2 of my most valuable and most important items are missing! I have been anxiously waiting for them to search for those missing items for 3 weeks, I made many calls and sent many text messages, NOBODY knows where they are so far! They are big, they can't be missing!

  14. Really Good Experience.

Ok so I had to leave a review. My girlfriend HATES moving so I pretty much thought we were in for a nightmare. Ended up going pretty smoothly minus the later pick-up. Which they gave us a heads up on. Not sure if these horror stories are disgruntled customers over exaggerating or what but we actually had a REALLY GOOD experience. The only complaint was we had to call them regarding the late pick up and we were worried and wasted a little time but I guess the drivers aren't in contact 24/7 so the girl I spoke with immediately called the driver for an updated ETA. They did tell us there are time "windows" so all-in-all I'd say we will use them if we do a large move in the future.

  15. Alabama to Rhode Island.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Wow..I am totally blown away by the reviews I read for this moving service. Had I not gone thru and listened to the same lies told to other customers I would not have believed a company could be so dishonest!

I was told by their company representative, Blake, that they had their own trucks and would be the actual movers..which was a lie. I gave them six weeks lead time to move me from Alabama to Rhode Island and they were well aware that the time frame was important as I would be flying out two days after my goods were to be moved. Notice I said "would be moved" as they never even showed up to move me. First they wanted to move my date up two days prior to the already two day window for the move which as I was only in Alabama a short while was impossible for me to be ready for them a full two days prior to our agreed upon moving date. Keep in mind I was given no notice only a call on the day they wanted to pick up my belongings. There were several attempts (by me) to get them to call me back but my calls were not returned. After I finally reached them I was given such a run around and more stories that it became actually funny that they could invent so many excuses for not picking up. They never did show up and I caught my flight back home and my belongings are still in Alabama. They still have my deposit. The chase will resume to get that back..That should be fun..
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
