  1. 30 days our stuff has been in limbo, they don't care.

We were informed that not all of our possessions would fit on the truck, due to no fault of our own. They call this an "overflow" situation and their lawyers make it so they can just throw the rest of your items in a warehouse with no estimated delivery date, until it's convenient/cost-effective for them to deliver your possessions. BEWARE, they DO NOT CARE and you're at the mercy of them. We're literally an afterthought, an annoyance, and here we are with no tools no grill, so many of our items just sitting in limbo. AVOID!!!!

  2. Team Horse

If you are moving across the country I highly recommend this company! If possible, request Team Horse! They were amazing! The best crew I’ve ever worked with!

  3. Move from Oregon to California 30 days longer than expected

Planned a June move with them in Feb. Locked in the dates in April. Was quoted my stuff would arrive 3-10 days after pickup. They confirmed this travel time multiple times including the day of pickup. 3 days after pickup I receive a call assuming they're going to tell me the exact date. Nope they tell me my stuff is stuck in Oregon and won't get to me for at least 30 days. So now I have a week of clothes and an air mattress to last a month. Just ridiculous. They offered me $120 a day to compensate. That doesn't cover much towards having a bed and cooking supplies.

  4. No resolution

This company moved my family from Dallas to Cary North Carolina and in that move they crushed our dining room table, debated our brand new stainless refrigerator and crushed our 65in screen tv. Took a chunk of wood out of my sons dresser and stripped his bed screws. We also got someone else wardrobe boxes which we had to hound them to pick up and return to the rightful owner. They had the nerve to send us a check for 200$ after thousands in damage. We’re not stupid and didn't cash it. Still no resolution 2 months later. We want our items made whole. These people are I'm unprofessional and need to have their business license pulled

  5. Charles.

Don't, use them unless you have to. Home depot use them, but they are horrible. Drivers lie about time of delivery. Say they call but didn't tell dispatch they then give wrong number. But home depot had correct number on invoice.Call there office put you on hold for 30 mins, then say unable to transfer call and hang up. Who runs a business like that.

  6. Our recent move with Daryl Flood was outstanding!

We have moved 14 times over the past 28 years. Our recent move with Daryl Flood Mayflower was outstanding. There is no such thing as a perfect move, but this was close to perfect. No one enjoys moving, but Daryl Flood made it as stress free as possible.

Jason Staton, Lorraine Prestano, Kenny Archibold, Wayne Russell, and the moving crew were outstanding from initial quote through post move. We highly recommend Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics.

  7. Best Move Ever!

The packers and movers with Daryl Flood did an excellent job with my local and out of state move! The packers took extra care with my items and I didn't have any damages. They picked up and delivered on time and were patient when I asked them to move a few items around! I would definitely use Daryl Flood for any move..household or commercial!

  8. "Daryl Flood Dependable".

Their literature says “Not Just Dependable Daryl Flood Dependable.” My family learned what that meant today. It’s a little past noon. We’re moved in. I couldn’t be more impressed. My family's move was a fairly complicated, multi-stage move involving three homes, three storage units and plenty of other challenges. The Daryl Flood dependable guys sailed through it, didn’t break anything and (wonder of wonders) only smiled when my wife had them “put that over there - no, wait - maybe over here.” Honestly, they did such a great job, if they hadn’t finished so soon, we would have asked them all to stay for dinner.

  9. Our move from Texas.

We hired Daryl Flood to move our 3800 sq. ft. home contents from Texas to Nevada. The sales representative talked us into carrying the full insurance because we had about 40 cartons of china, dishes and breakables. She knew at the time we were doing all of our own packing because of our concern about our items. She also over estimated our weight although we provided a bill of lading from our prior move that had the exact amount of weight on it and it turned out to be correct. Five men loaded the van on our move from Texas. On arrival in Nevada only the driver and one helper showed up. We were concerned not enough help but they were in a hurry. They manhandled our furniture, scratching it, gouging it and nearly destroying all three doors on our refrigerator that was brand new. They broke two boxes of collectibles. Destroyed a file cabinet and then didn't assemble anything correctly. We filed a claim. They did fix the refrigerator but it took them months. They denied paying for our two boxes citing that they didn't pack them therefore weren't responsible for them. They sent money for the file cabinet. I feel they acted in bad faith selling me insurance that they knew they would never have to pay on because they knew we were doing our own packing. Interestingly enough, nothing else was broken that we packed, just these two cartons that obviously were dropped. I would never use this company again.

  10. Billing dispute.

I was quoted a price for my move, and told that it was firm, no adjustments would be made. I had some issues with the third-party craters that they used, and I could not get any answers from my move representative when I called the day of the move. I received a bill a month later for $501.65 for additional third-party charges. For the past two months I have left voice messages, with either no return call, or if I was lucky to have someone answer, I got the run around, and I was told that they have no control over third-party charges. My experience up to this point had been good/average, but this customer service experience has left me very disgruntled and extremely disappointed.

  11. Keep on moving.

Awful horrible unreal! Don't hire these people. They damaged just about every piece of furniture in my home. They lost my baby grand piano and damaged it. They have yet to arrange to have our goods repaired and made promises they have not kept. Liars. The operations manager came to do some damage control but little good that did his word is meaningless. Their claims department hasn't done anything to help us. The sales rep well, he's been silent isn't that a coincidence?

  12. Moving experience.

This was our first time using a moving company and everything went great.  The whole team was very professional.  Starting with Chase Traughber, Marivel Barreda to our driver Kevin Hill and his team. Packing and unpacking went as scheduled .  Kevin always kept us updated to his arrival times and was so thoughtful and courteous. Thank you all so much.

  13. Excellent guide and performance.

I just want to share my experience about recent moving. It was my first moving since I have come in USA. I was afraid about a moving because many friends complained a lot about their bad experiences with moving company. But, after contacting with a move coordinator, Jeana potter (TX, Dallas), I felt better definitely because she really made me comfortable and she is so nice and friendly. Honestly, I felt like my friend would be working for my moving. In addition to her nice export, the staffs for packing and loading were all doing wonderful job. Also,  Kristy was great at taking care of moving schedule and moving stuffs by email and by phone call. I thought they were all really good team well trained. Now I would like to recommend Daryl Flood moving company strongly to my other friends. .

  14. Great staff.

I had a very pleasant experience using Daryl Flood for my move. Moving is inherently a stressful time, but the people at DF made my life a lot easier. Jeana Potter was so sweet and accommodating and she set up everything for me. I was studying for the bar exam while coordinating my move, so I didn't have a lot of time to devote to my moving logistics, but fortunately Jeana took care of everything. If you choose to move with DF I would highly suggest asking Jeana to assist you - she is fantastic. Linda Carruthers was my Account Coordinator and she saved the day after my driver got in a car wreck and wasn't able to make it as originally scheduled. Linda got on the phone and managed to get a replacement driver for me, eventually getting me out not long after I was scheduled to go. Everyone I interacted with at DF was extremely professional, I would definitely use them again.

  15. Recent move within Texas.

After my recent experience, I would not recommend anyone to use Mayflower Daryl Flood for their move. It was poorly managed from the start, with them committing to 2 days from pickup/load to delivery/unload for a move of roughly 150 miles, only to find out that they could not meet their commitment and it actually took 3 days. Then their team at the pickup/load out had problems working together & getting along among themselves, with required my family & I having to do much of the supervision and actual work. Then at the delivery/unloading, they were poorly prepared without the necessary equipment arranged at the outset, resulting in delays in starting their work. I've moved 5-6 times over my career, and without a doubt this was the worst moving experience I've ever had. .
