Stay far away! Should be 0 stars
These people should all be in jail. After spending many hours on the phone going through inventories, I paid them almost a $3K deposit. They totally no-showed the day of my move, the last day of the quoted window, which left me in a HUGE bind. They then lied and said I canceled my move and wouldn’t refund my deposit. A lot of tears, time and frustration to put money in their pocket for them doing nothing. They are all scammers and will cheat you out of your money with no remorse. You would be better off to sell your belongings or even give them away than give this company any money to “move” you. I am certain that any positive reviews are written by them to offset all the negative reviews they get. They should have been shut down. They are thieves and this is pure fact and not exaggeration.
Terrible
They didn’t show. No call backs, no messages in response, no emails in response, no information about anything, one telling customer service member who said she’d call-never did, and I am here, still not much ves, 12 hours later, not knowing anything, with my lease terminated. I am speechless. Never hire them. No one will help you.
Terrible company
Scam!!! Scam!!! Scam!!! stay as far away as you can, They quote you one price and then a day or 2 before the move somebody from another department calls and triples your price and leaves you stuck with no options. Look up scam moving brokers there’s 100s of story’s.
On time and professional
They went to my old house when I was unable do to the fact that I was in Luisiana, so I authorized my realtor to be their on pickup I was so happy I didn’t have to be their. Finally on Monday all my belongings arrived from California, they set up my bedroom and living room they even unpacked and setup my kitchen.
Coast to coast move
The only thing they have been good at was follow up prior to getting my money, since then it has been all bad. It started when I called them back to say I believe that I have more than what was estimated, the estimate almost doubled and thats not because the amount doubled. The initial estimate was just over 1000 sq feet at about $8500 and after I adjusted the sq ft to just under 1600 the total came to just under $15000. Of course at this stage in the game I did not feel as though I had any other options than to move forward. I am yet to get anyone to explain this creative math to me. The guaranteed moving day was a Friday with a just in case Saturday back up. I got no communication whatsoever and had to call them a few times Friday before getting to speak to anyone. The actual movers didn't show up until Sunday, and the mover estimated that we would need the entire truck 2000 sq ft not the 1600 reserved, but that he would get it all in there. So many items were left off of the truck and things that were specifically told not to load were loaded and here we go again with a price increase. I had a scheduled flight for Saturday evening and a cleaning crew for the house on Sunday to insure I would get my deposit back, I ended up having to pay $500 because not only was the place not cleaned yet but was littered with my things that did not make the truck, I am sick to think about how much this is costing me and I am not even getting many of my prize possessions. As of this date I still have no idea where my stuff is. One star is too many.
Great service, no hassles
Needed a pick up in 2 days as per my landlord. I called they were very smooth locked in, they came an moved me like clockwork. Very pleased, and said I would write a review if they made it happen, and they did!!! Thanks guys!!
My parents move.
So this was an incredibly scary issue for me. My dad being a military man and both my parents are elderly going to retire in Arizona after being in NJ their whole lives. So everything is very sensitive. These guys were great start to finish. Very professional, made it easy to sign, pay, and let me focus on the transportation of my parents. They also give a big discount for my dad being a Veteran (every little bit helps). Thanks Diamond Pro.
