    These guys were absolutely amazing! From answering my questions before the move to moving day, everyone we spoke with was professional and kind and considerate. On moving day they took great care of all our items, worked incredibly fast and were so nice. Don't hesitate to book these guys!

    I can honestly say I’ve never had a more pleasant experience. My driver was extremely helpful with all questions and even kept us updated through out the move. Everything was packaged very nicely and they took care of my belongings as if it were their own. I would recommend this company to my family and friends in a heartbeat! Thank you for making my move easy and stress free.

    Great company , even better costumer service. Helped my boyfriend and I move cross country and we couldn’t be happier! Took great care of our belongings and everything made it in one piece. Even our rare China and my boyfriends rare doll collection. Can’t ask for a better company , if you’re looking for a reliable , friendly and fair priced company look no further!

    The Direct Relocation team has been amazing! I move between states and nothing was damaged or forgotten! They reassured me through the whole process that everything was going to fine and they didn’t disappoint! We have a large home so it was a big move I would highly recommend them!!

  6. No Hassle Move.

    This company was great to deal with the sales rep to the movers. Made a move from New York to North Carolina very smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to do a big move! Or small I’m sure they can handle it all!

  7. A Nightmare.

    Stay way, a nightmare from beginning to end.

    1.- the quote went up.

    2.- they broke glasses at time of packing.

    3.- they were careless.

    4.- when the truck arrived to Houston. 2 boxes were missing with valuables with a cost of 10.000 dollars.

    3.- everything else came broken.

    4.- The insurance is useless, after two months dealing with them, they want to pay us 69 dollars.

    5.- the Manager and employee at Relocation service don’t care at all.

  9. Satisfied from start to finish!

    I was in desperate need to move the same day I 1st called. Honestly not expecting to be able to be accommodated and picked up at least a day or two, if not more. The sales rep was fabulous , detailed and informative. They told me they had a truck in the area and could pick me up within 45 minutes.

    The crew was professional, polite and efficient. My price was exactly as I was estimated. They placed everything in the room of my choice upon delivery. Not one item was damaged. Highly recommend Direct Relocation Services. This wasn't the 1st time they moved me and it won't be the last!

  10. Nightmare - Do not use this company.

    I should have read reviews prior to using them. (Refer to Michelle T’s review. It is the exact same experience we had). The broker quoted us a price that was reasonable up front only to be told by Direct relocation that we had more cubic footage than what was quoted by the broker. When they loaded our belonging they had 2 smaller trucks and loaded 1 half full and the other was fully loaded. They told me I was to pay for the total cubic footage of both trucks which well exceeded the total cubic footage we had. Upon receiving our belongings at the final destination they loaded all of our belonging on 1 truck. The amount of damage to furniture and boxes was unbelievable. Some of the items they took apart they refused to put back together. They left all of the wrapping and the cardboard that covered the furniture out on the front lawn. No cleanup at all. I did receive a portion of the cubic footage discrepancy but not all that I should have received. I discussed the issue with the manager only to be told I had no idea what it takes to move a home. I was told to file the damage report of all broken items and I would be compensated for the damages. After 3 months I was told I would be receiving a refund. $82 was all that I would be receiving (arbitration is with a scam company. Don’t expect anything). I could go on and I wish I could post photos. All I can say is please do research and do not use this company.

  11. Mixed results.

    Good: Communication with staff, efficiency of Florida loading crew. Arrived when they said they would on both ends.

    Bad: Questionable charges. Original estimate was for about 1100 cubic feet, and we tried to estimate high. On moving day we were told it was 1500 cubic feet on the truck and the charges were adjusted. Which normally would be fine.

    Our stuff, though, was delivered to a storage facility which is 15'x10'x10' which is 1500 cubic feet. And it is about 75-80% full, which tells me we had nowhere near 1500 cubic feet we were charged for.

    Either that, or a bunch of our stuff is missing. I'm sure it is the former. Just be careful when they try to change the estimate for your volume.

    I had the pleasure of using Direct Relocation Services for my move and they made my moving experience so pleasant! Nobody likes moving and all the hassle but these guys make it a breeze!! Please do yourself justice and contact them for all your moving needs! You will not be disappointed.

  14. Do Not Use This Mover Before You Read This Review.

    DO NOT USE THIS MOVER UNLESS YOU TOTALLY HATE EVERYTHING VALUABLE THAT YOU OWN!!

    In June, we engaged Direct Relocation Services to move our valuable household goods from California to Florida. The following reasonably describes that very bad experience:

    Upon arrival, we opened the boxes as fast as we could. Serious problems were immediately apparent. In fact, initially estimated that nearly $20K in china, works of art, valuable household goods and memorabilia were either completely destroyed through careless packing and transport or were simply stolen. In fact, we specifically identified a $6,000 cut glass sculpture to those doing the packing. We saw them wrap it in multiple blankets and pack it in a large wardrobe box. It NEVER ARRIVED! Nor, did at least 10 boxes of other valuables that were not random. They coincidentaly contained elegant gowns, small appliances and irreplaceable memorabilia. Now that we have unpacked tree Christmas decorations, even more high-quality stuff is missing.

    When goods arrive at your destination, they quickly offload it without verifying each box number. In addition, the driver must be paid in cash or by postal money order upon arrival. So, there is no way to hold payment until a dispute is settled.

    Let’s be real, if these got mixed up with a shipment to a different customer, wouldn’t any decent person report the error? Furthermore, given that each box was numbered and inventoried, how did the big Russian guy, who couldn’t leave with our cash payment fast enough, check everything off as delivered?

    Our two brand new $3,500 each electric bikes arrived in a condition that took us an hour each to return to usability. They were obviously ridden by someone who knew nothing about the gears and wrapped the chain tightly around the axle.

    These guys are animals. In fact, it seems like they target certain stuff that either gets broken or disappears out of jealousy.

    Lastly, they were intentionally careless. We pre-packed over 50 boxes of our belongings in heavy duty clear plastic containers. The most breakable (computers, china, etc.) had bright yellow 8.5 x 11 labels with red text that said “Fragile. Do not stack boxes on top”. All arrived at the bottom of the stacks with as many as nine levels of boxes on top. The resulting damage was heartbreaking. Furthermore, we have only gotten lip services about these issues from Direct Relocation Services since. I could go on, but, it makes us sick to think about and the point should clearly justify the warning in the title of this posting.

    We believe that this is a case of grand theft on an epic scale. As for Insurance, how can you get a fair settlement unless you have a receipt for every single thing?

    When we told them that we were going to post this, their response was “do what you godda do”.

  15. Nightmare Company!! Beware of them.

    It has taken me quite some time to calm down and write this review. I want it to be factual. We were called 3 days prior to our scheduled packing date, asking us to rearrange OUR schedule to accommodate their crew, since THEY made a mistake and scheduled our pickup for the day before Thanksgiving. We changed everything around for them. Upon coming into our home, they advised me that the quote I received was wrong, also on their part, and that my price was going up 2 THOUSAND dollars!!??!! My poor husband who just had two surgeries, fell over boxes, left at the door and had to be brought to the hospital. I was on the phone with ANDREW, who is supposedly management, and Was transfered to by a guy named JORDE, when I screamed out Oh my God, my husband just fell and is hurt bad. He swore at me, AND said DEBRA, I DON'T CARE. What company or person would do this?? Now We have been waiting since yesterday for our items to arrive. Still not here. Sleeping on the floor in our house. I will write more and keep you all posted. Please FOLKS, research this company thoroughly. The owner, Diego somebody, never called us inquiring about my husband or what happened. Stay tuned, more to come from other family members who were at the house when this happened. The gentleman who was in charge of the packing and loading the truck, said he could not believe what he heard coming from Andrew's mouth. Andrew was Hollaring so loud that Jeff heard him.
