  1. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE FAKE POSITIVE

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS! I wish we hadn't listened to the positive reviews.

Having used Dolphine for our move from the UK to Cypurs, I can’t emphasise enough how terrible the whole experience was!

Where do I start, our move happened in two very drawn out parts, we were over charged and they definitely under delivered. We paid a huge premium of £13,000 for a full "hassle free"packing and moving services by professionals who were suppose to care for your items and instead we got damaged goods and a bunch of cowboys.

So many of our items ended up ruined partly because every time they arrived on site they didn’t come with enough packing material and just ‘made do’ which meant our items were not packed properly. NO BUBBLE WRAP WAS USED! Which removal company doesn't use bubble wrap?!!

The language barrier with the team was also very frustrating as you were not able to explain what needed extra packing. The site foreman was the only one who spoke English and every time I asked for something to be wrapped with extra care ie our tv and art work I was told to "TRUST THEM" and they bragged about moving a celebrities house and "they knew what they were doing". I then found out all their workers were subcontracted so they really couldn't care less.

Having unloaded our items abroad it was clear to see Dolphin were totally incapable of carrying out the job we were promised and our TV was smashed to pieces, our dryer was split down the middle and all of our one off hand blown vases / ceramics were smashed, many expensive clothing items and hats were crushed and damaged just to name a few.

Every box was labels incorrectly despite us adding sticky notes to all the rooms and all the cupboards so it’s easier to unpack on the other side which was totally ignored.

Everyday the team arrived hours late and were were very unprofessional. I was told many of our items were going to be packaged and protected at the warehouse which as we unpacked abroad found out it was a total lie.

The management team in the offices are no better, unhelpful, rude and just placed the blame with the project foreman and wipes his hands with it. Now Dolphine won’t take liability for all the damage caused due to the lack of care and service provided by their team at Dolphin.

I can only recommend you avoid this company like the plague! If I could give 0 stars I would!! Save your money and go else where.

  2. Avoid using this company.

I had a really bad experience dealing with Dolphin. I shipped a car with them from Greece to Ireland and found on arrival that some items had been stolen from the boot. That was bad enough but then of course Dolphin refused to accept any responsibility. They clearly can't trust their own staff or the contractors that they use, so I would suggest that you do the same with them. Avoid at all costs.

  3. Partial Move to Cyprus.

40 boxes were picked up, from Enfield, and taken to their warehouse, in Enfield, to be shipped to Cyprus.
In that short journey, 2 boxes went missing.
I have since had no explanation, or compensation.
    The worst company ever!
I wish I’d gone with the more costly company.
It’s true that you get what you pay for!!

  4. Connected with Arpin moving (Ernie McNab).

The following review is my opinion and experience:

This company seems fraudulent and should not be allowed to operate in the state of Florida. I have moved many , many times in my lifetime, and this was the worst experience that I have ever had. There are too many reasons to list here as I am still exhausted from the move but I will touch on the "highlights".

First, the movers showed up to with one man and one small women. What should have taken approximately 4 hours, took 9 hours. I had to rearrange my closing, and make two trips instead of one of car loads. Then I was told by Kim (works for Blue Dolphin Moving and Arpin) that she "hates" her bipolar boss, Ernie McNab, and that he "makes" everyone pay cash before he will deliver their furniture/items. Well, I thought that was odd telling me that after the truck was completely loaded and they were about to leave.

Then, I was told that my belongings weighted 9,000 pounds, but that she hadn't weighed the truck BEFORE it was loaded. What? I have never owned 9,000 pounds in my life, even when I owned a house much bigger than the one I moved from. I was called by Ernie and he spoke to me like he was from the Mafia, and "made" me sign the new contract agreeing to the new price.

Then, before the final delivery (my things were in storage for 22 days) I was told a time they would be at my house. Then I was told that I HAD to pay a cashiers check. I told them that the CONTRACT stated that I could pay with a visa, why are they requiring cash? No one would respond to me. I called the office again and finally got a hold of someone (Operations Manager?) that said I could pay with Visa after all, but that my delivery would now be at 11, not 8 as originally stated because they now had "boxes" to pick up for someone else. Okay, so now I'm delayed because you have to pick up boxes??

THEN, I tried to call Kim from BLUE DOLPHIN (somehow associated with Ernie McNam from Arpin who was my POC) and I received NO RESPONSE. NOTHING. I contacted Ernie and he refused to tell me what time the movers would be at the house and IGNORED ME. It was clear my belongings were being held hostage until I agree to pay with a cashiers check. I only found out the time of the delivery by calling the office the morning of the move when they finally answered (after 8 am), that I would have a delivery around 11, but that "CASH" was "preferred". The message was clear, no cash, no delivery.

I did not sleep the entire night before, wondering if I would ever see my belongings again!! I am contacting local, state and federal authorities, the BBB, judicial representatives and an attorney!! This man is Fraudulent under CONTRACT LAW, at a minimum. I found out that he's not allowed to move people in GEORGIA, that they had so many complaints he's been banned! FLORIDA needs to do the same, and I hope I help to end his harassment and criminal activities.
Please, don't ever use this person/companies to move. Kim from Blue Dolphin is just as culpable as she ignored my calls and texts trying to find out the time she would be delivering my furniture, causing me major stress!

Also, remotes and parts are missing along with scratched/damaged furniture!

  5. Missing 49” TV.

I moved 75 metres from my previous home. In that distance a 49” TV went missing. It was loaded into a car of one of the labourers who was doing the job so as not to damage it, as the two vans were two small to take all the items being moved . However it didn’t make it out to my new home. Only until I contacted the company and had CCTV images and the car registration did it get delivered 72 hours later. There were denials by the individuals that anything was left in the car but it’s hard to miss a TV of that size so that it is “forgotten”.

The main guy working on the move, Emmanuel was great and his packing and moving skills were very good. However the remaining 4 individuals were not professional movers. Some of my items were also not in great condition having been shoved into boxes (in one box a carton of milk was packed with the cook books) but at least they got to the house.
You must be able to trust people who move your home - the company fails miserably on that front.

  6. Abysmal.

The absolute worst removal company I have ever used. I assumed that the high cost 's and insurance provided a professional job. WRONG. The packing team arrived three hours late. My household goods were finally delivered minus two boxes, one was located and it was suggested that I should go and collect it the following day from another island in Greece ! It was eventually delivered. None of the goods were unpacked or the packaging removed as paid for. The contents of an entire box were damaged beyond repair due to useless packing and one box was lost . I had paid for insurance but was informed that I had not completed certain forms ( which one would assume the management would check before the goods left for transit.) so the process of recompense became an endless pointless exercise, the management did nothing to help and after relentless e mails I have given up. The cost of the loss for me was well over £1500, a 300 year old Armoire was damaged. I would recommend that this company is shut down.

  7. Crooks and thiefs!! AVOID!!

  8. Move To Austria.

Dolphin were professional throughout the whole move. From day 1 they had a great attitude. My goods were collected on time and were delivered when expected. I would use them again and will recommend them to my friends. Dolphin were very good and treated me well. Please spread the word. My goods were unpacked and placed in the rooms as requested. Next time I do a house move or want to move a single item, I will use Dolphin Movers again. .

  9. A BIG Thank You!!

First and foremost I would like to say a big thank you for the patience personified when it came to my endless questions. Your office demonstrated skills that are so lacking in so many service providers and was always so helpful and informative. If you did not know an answer to a question, it was found out and got back to me. I can’t remember the last time this happened. Incidentally I called half a dozen businesses like yours, picked at random, and Dolphin Movers was the only one to call me back. Everyone we spoke to or met was helpful and the whole experience was an example of how the right team and service provider can stand out from the rest. I know it’s not every day you get to hear when you have done everything right, so I felt it only fair to tell you that you created a very satisfied customer. I wish you and your team continued prosperity and success, thank you! .

  10. Personal items.

I needed to sent some personal items to netherland.I found this company on the Internet and local papers.I needed my items to be in netherland asap and in good order.I explained all these to salesperson on the phone and assured that things will be in netherland in about a weeks time.( apparently they have their own lorries making regular trips there) so I dropped my items into their offices in enfield and true to their word..1 week later..my goods arrived in netherland all intact and in original packaging.all in all I am happy with this company and would recommend them to anybody..

  11. Things Did Workout!

Considering the numerous reviews here, I can relate with my experience I had with Dolphin Movers. However, unlike the others, mine has a happy ending. I'll start with the bad part first. It started out rough. My shipment was sent to Dolphin Movers by another shipping company from the U.S. Out of the blue I was told by Dolphins that there was a shipment possible for my things but it would be leaving in two days and because all my paperwork was not in, I would miss the shipment. Which meant that I would have to wait several months later with my valuables. It was dead of winter and I and my family had no winter clothing! If I had been warned ahead of time maybe I could have faxed the information quickly to prepare for the shipment. Therefore, the company lacked in assisting me in the most efficient way possible. Not only that, they became belligerent when I questioned the way they handled the situation. Afterwards, I continued to call about when my shipment would arrive. Also, after reading all the "bad" reviews, I was in panic mode. Finally, a date came up; however, if I hadn't inquired about the date, that would have been missed as well as they made no effort to inform me or to let me know if all my paperwork was in order. I HAD TO ASK! Finally after going through months of despair, the shipping date was planned. To Dolphin's credit, they didn't charge me any storage fees and they assured my that my things were in safe hands. The shipping date arrived and lo and behold my things arrived, on the date and time they said it would! There was one glitch, as the truck stated that Dolphins had not paid so they couldn't take my things off the truck. I couldn't believe it! However, Dolphin handled it beautifully and the movers were able to take my things off the truck. By the way, the movers were as courteous as can be. However, the drama still wasn't over. It was time for inspection. I was expecting the worse! Surprisingly, EVERYTHING WAS THERE NOT EVEN A GLASS BROKEN! Therefore, I have a happy ending even though the road was a bit rough. I would recommend using Dolphin; however, YOU have to stay on the case in order to keep abreast of what's happening. However, I don't believe they are outright shysters. Nonetheless, a bit more professionalism would help! But they are fine..!

  12. Dolphin delivered on time, good price, and with a smile.

I found Dolphin Movers in a local newspaper and called to get a quote on our move. They were far and away offering the best deal of anyone I spoke to nationwide (including the other big removals companies). Dolphin were excellent from start to finish. We were a very late booking and they sorted everything out in 24 hours. When circumstances changed on our end, they changed the booking without any penalty fee.  They did everything they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it. Every person we dealt with was professional, courteous and the guys who did the moving treated our belongings with incredible care. I recommend them. And can't recommend them enough. .

  13. Warning Warning Warning.

Where does one begin ?Think very very carefully regarding your shipping needs. The company that you pick is shipping (in our case) an entire house that represents your life. The singular most disastrous mistake we made with our relocation from the UK to the US was to use Dolphin Removals. Sincerely wish I could turn back the clock. I never haggled the cost or questioned their professionalism at any stage. And by the length of this comment, I am not a troll obviously. Just a very disgruntled customer.I understand that everyone makes mistakes (myself included) but what is still occurring with the contents of my home boggles the mind. Dolphin Removals do not actually know where the contents of my home are right now, they 'think' that they are in transit. Think ?I received a competitive quote, during the initial email exchanges with the specialist they said that this is a very busy period and need to get a date in (sound familiar?) booked for the pick up of our contents. The time estimated from pick up in South East England to the East Coast of the US delivery was 3-4 weeks due to the busy moving period of the Summer. My contents didn't warrant a single 40ft container due to the amount of furniture would only fill between a third and half of it so the specialist advised to save the extra £1000 as it is so busy I wouldn't wait too long for the shared container to be filled. It has taken almost 8 weeks for my material to be loaded (they think) onto the ship.I have heard every excuse that you can imagine regarding delays, organization, unexpected lull in the removal market at its busiest time etc etc etc.So far my family has had 4 weeks in the UK with no furniture and 4 weeks in the US with no furniture. Airbeds and camping chairs are no fun.Yesterday I was told that the date I expected the arrival of the contents of my home (after 3 weeks of waiting) was in fact the date that the contents had been loaded and left the UK. No reason, no excuse and certainly nothing to allay my fears. When I expressed calmly my frustration, I received a generic Cut and Paste email explaining how they are not liable for delays etc etc etc.Shocking customer service, shocking. When I asked for possible compensation, well I haven't received a reply. My home should be arriving in the US in 3 more weeks which brings it up to 13 weeks once it has cleared customs, if there is no delay.A £2000 cost A 3-4 week estimate from a specialist became 13-14 week reality.Think very very carefully about who you trust with the contents of your home.

  14. Review.

We had a nightmare experience with them. They quoted wrong, and delivered only parts of our goods. They asked for more money otherwise they would not pay our insured and damaged goods and would not deliver the rest. More money means an add on of nearly 100%!
Forget about BAR, no outcome at all!
