Very Bad experiecne.

This was my experience to move to approx 5 miles within the city. Please read my personal experience using this company for moving and decide what sort of company this is and whether you should use them or not. These people called up an hour before the move and rescheduled it an hr later than the original time. They called half hour after the new scheduled time and told me that they will have to reschedule it the next day early am. Since I couldn't find another company immediately, I agreed. They came 45 mins late and did not have a GPS even though they said they had and constantly called me for address details and directions and had very poor communication. The man who was driving/talking was barely clear. Then after noticing the bare minimum furniture for a 1br 1 ba and all of them well packed and ready for the move they were not very visibly happy. They took 2hrs to load the furniture into the truck even with a service elevator and vale cart. The were very careless in moving the furniture and rough. moved very slowly and intentionally stretched the time. did a lot of double work like not loading the furniture properly and moving them around inside the truck to arrange them , unload and load them back simply wasting time. I had a stop to a storage within 3-4miles and then to an apartment. I was giving them clear instructions as to what should go into the storage and what should not. They behaved as if they heard me and when I was doing the paper work with the storage company, these people moved even the furniture piece I clearly said I did not want in the storage and had to do double work to bring it back into the truck. I thought they moved all the items I had asked them to move into the storage only to discover later that they missed crucial parts of my furniture, making it unusable if that was not present. After loading some non furniture items except one into the apt I was moving into, they finally ended the move. Most of it, I had to move myself at a fast pace as they were doing a lousy job. After the whole thing they told me they take only cash even though their website clearly states they take credit and debit cards. I read another review here quoting the same, looks like its their modes operandi. At the end of the move they said they will charge me $50 more for additional stop to the storage, this threw me off, I clearly told them, I had to stop at a storage and the final apt, they said its OK but did not mention of the additional charge. They are a rip off!! very unprofessional. They did not mention it even in their email confirmation. When I said, I do not have additional cash, the lady on the phone told me to go to an ATM and that these men will follow me there. I gave them the cash and ended the ordeal. One of the workers from the company was very rude and very unprofessional and had a bad behavior. They both seemed inexperienced with the kind of service they were providing. I had sold my furniture nd when I went there on the 2nd day to pick it up from the storage , to my horror I found that the furniture was not delivered on whole, two long metal beams that supported the slats for the mattress for the bed were missing. Those are not some things that can be packed in the boxes and the house and the elevator region of the bldg where they were loaded were clean after the load. I called the company and the lady there said, it should have been misplaced by me and I think that it is left in the truck. Bed metal beams the length of the bed can't go missing in thin air between the storage and the apt. When I called the driver of the truck (one of the workers), he said he has it in his truck and will return it to me at my new apt.  He gave me a time and when I called him half hr before the time he said he cannot make it and hung up. These people are a pain.. seriously please read reviews before you hire such companies.
