Stolen Deposit and No-Show on Moving Day.
East Coast Moving and Storage (AKA Finest Movers, Reliable Moving, etc.) requires a 30% deposit via ACH (so it cannot be disputed). The company failed to arrive on moving day, did not coordinate an alternative moving date and never communicated with me the day before, the day of or anytime after the scheduled move.
After dozens of unanswered calls, emails and voicemails to James Long, I reached Mark Stone, who told me a full refund would be mailed on 9/14/17. Nothing showed up.
On 9/25/17, I again telephoned the company to find out where the refund was but Mark Stone could not be reached. Chuck Torres could not provide a reason for the absence of the refund.
Bottom line - East Coast Moving and Storage left my family and a special needs child in a terrible predicament and could care less. As a result, we lost almost $900 with nothing in return and had to fend for ourselves on an interstate move on no notice.
A criminal organization.
Stay away from these people. They will give you a lowball quote to get your business and then double the charge once your stuff is on the truck. Totally unprofessional and unresponsive to customer concerns. They damaged my piano, stole my bike, lost a bunch of items and took no responsibility for any of it. Claims process is a bad joke. These people are crooks.
By far the Best.
I had already been in FL for a month, for work purposes and had dealt with so many other moving companies, trying to find the best option for the best price and had such a hard time. Until I contacted East Coast Move! Not only did they give me one heck of a quote, but the services that went WITHO the quote were phenomenal! I met them back in Indiana to oversee their work and progress, and I couldn't believe how friendly and professional they were. I can only say good things about this company. Trust me, if you're looking for the most affordable solution with the best staff, choose EAST COAST MOVE. There's no one better. I was able to move my home and never lose any time or money with my company. Thanks guys, you're absolutely remarkable!
Great Company!
I can't say one bad thing about East Coast Moving & Storage. I hired them to help me with my long distance move and I couldn't have been happier with the service they provided. The movers showed up 20minutes early and started packing and loading right away. They only sent two guys, but that was fine considering they were efficient and fast! None of my furniture was damaged which obviously is a huge plus! I thought they were extremely professional and respectable. They movers actually seemed happy to be there. They had great attitudes and they were great to be around during this stressful process. I was very satisfied with my choice of movers. They were awesome!

These guys were awesome. They made my move stress free and smooth. They worked with me and were super nice and professional the whole time. I had huge move for a really great price! DEFINITELY will recommend to my friends and family. They gave a time and date and stuck to it thank God. They are very reliable and I will use them again in the future when I head back to Chicago to get the rest of my stuff. Keep up the great work guys! These guys are awesome! They made my move stress free and smooth. They worked with me and was super nice and professional the whole time. I had a huge move for a really great price. Would use over and over.
We had to move our family suddenly from Michigan to Georgia and these guys did not disappoint. The move could not have gone smoother. The staff was courteous and professional throughout the whole process and really couldn't ask for better. All of our things arrived on time and in the same condition as they left. The price was more than fair for what we received and would recommend to all.
