  1. Great Experience

    Great start to finish. They sent me a quote in minutes. They were on time, friendly, and efficient. They were careful with my furniture and charged me the quoted price. They were fast and listened to us. I am referring them to all my friends.

  2. Beware

    I hired Expedient Movers for my move on July 17, 2021 at 9am. I booked this move over a month prior with Scott. I confirmed my move the week before. On July 17 at 10am (an hour after they were supposed to move), a contracted moving company called me and said they needed to move me the following day (note: Expedient actually don't provide the moving service, they are contracting our to other moving services). That wasn't possible due to my lease being up that evening. I contacted the Expedient Movers repeatedly on moving day and throughout the following week. I have left numerous voicemails on July 17, 2021, July 19 and 20, 2021 and as of July 22, 2021, no one from Expedient Movers has called to explain the situation to me or even apologize. At this point, someone would be a fool to hire this company.

    In summary, I was left with a rental van, pod, and a lease that was ending in 12 hours with no moving help. I thought I was booking a legitimate company, over 30 days in advance, but in the end, I was left to beg my family to help me move. If this is how they treat a loyal, repeat customer, I can’t imagine how they would treat new customers.

    Also, if you are wondering why there are so many positive reviews, know that they reach out to customers, that I assume they actually show up for, and offer to pay them for a positive review.

  4. Horrible!!!!

    They refuse to be responsible for anything. Only one star because there isn't a zero.. BEWARE!!! Refused to give a name, phone number or address for a claim involving $500 worth of damage to dining room table. Would not talk to me. Move Supervisor blocked my calls.

  5. Total Nightmare Move

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Took 8 HOURS to move my elderly mom from 2nd story 1 bed apt to bottom floor apt in SAME Complex 2 bldgs down. Was told 2guys &approx 2 hrs. I figured 3 cause had to take moms bed apart. 1 guy worked other bitched&complained whole time was useless. I provided case of water which was gone plus cups of ice water they had nothing. Very Unprofessional. They Handed my mom bill for over $1000 upsetting her tremendously Totally Unacceptable! They gave me #to their boss and she was mad I called her because it was her personal phone. They Broke various things also. Couldn’t provide receipt. I put in complaint was told they had 60 days to investigate. Ok Sept 2020 to now March 2021 still nothing! Now I have to contact my attorney& press too because NO elderly person or anyone should have to experience this unprofessional company. Don’t seem to care about their customers.

  6. Worst company ever!!

    The worst company I have ever dealt with in any sense. Single mom moving with my 3 boys, they dropped my nightstand while I was there, it is the only actual storage I have in my room that I can afford at the moment and it’s destroyed! And are refusing to admit it. Not to mention since I’ve moved in (a week ago) two of my sons beds have fallen completely apart (again single mom). Got underneath to find half the hardware missing on two of them. They are the worst! I have called and emailed multiple times to be dismissed and blown off. I’m disgusted! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  7. Not Experienced Movers

    They brought zero tools so we had to take our beds apart ourselves.

    They dragged out furniture resulting in dirt marks and a puncture to one of our couches. See photos

    They tried to over charge us for their lunch break and calls to their manager over the pricing dispute. The manager did actually end up charging us correct.

    They were not in uniform as the site advertises.

    They informed us that if they break our tvs this company will not pay to correct or accept responsibility. So we drove back to Orlando the next day to move them with help from someone else. This is not standard moving protocol.

    The movers get one star as they were very nice people.

    They cannot help their company provides zero training, zero equipment, etc.

    Fast and friendly service. Arrived on time and we had a smooth move. I thought it would take longer then it did and the guys were non stop. I would recommend them.

    I had a good experience with expedient movers for my local move. They offered a competitive price and their customer service was good from start to finish.

  10. If I could give 0 stars I would!

    This company is TERRIBLE! They give you a quote and seem like they will be professional, but then did not show up on the day of move despite having a verbal AND an email confirmation from me! There was no one to answer my call and then their rep (Jarrod) did not even call to apologize, instead saying "I don't know what happened" and "don't be mad at me, it's not my fault". DO NOT USE them if you are looking for someone to show up. What a scam!!

  11. Beware !!

    BE AWARE !! What a scam of a company. They never answer the phone, they never call to confirm, they just do not care overall. I had a move on June 1st and 2 guys showed up- move started at 2:15pm when they were supposed to start at 2pm (and they had the nerve to start the clock at 2pm) I asked for the boxes for clothes that I was told they would provide - NOTHING, I was told by one of the guys "take it in your car because it’s not going in my truck", they never wrapped ANYTHING, I even offered the moving blankets and they did not use anything to cover the upholstered furniture that happens to be light grey - or better yet .. it used to be light grey, now it’s filthy dirty - the truck was so filthy and they dragged and scratched everything- they did not cover the TV's -not my dining room table that is glass.

    The driver had the worse attitude, he did not want to take anything in the truck, he kept complaining about everything – even though we moved the furniture from the loft to the main floor, we even rolled up the carpet and pulled apart the sectional. He said he was not taking the drawers from a dresser, he was not taking the dining room table, not the clothes, not the bikes, nor the plants, nor the containers .. nothing !! and then he wanted me to pay him upfront!! I was told payment was due after everything was unloaded and furniture was put back the way it was supposed to be. It was the worst experience, they left the entire move in the middle of the living room, they took all the screws for my bed, for my TV's etc.

    No one in the company has answered the phone to this day. STAY AWAY from this fraud "moving company". That driver kept saying it was his truck and he made the decision as to what went in the truck and what he didn’t want in the truck, as if he was the owner, he went as far as to threaten me! telling me he was keeping my stuff unless I paid upfront. And to make matters worse, they finished at 4:45pm and they charged me as if they worked until 5pm (after the first 2 hours, it jumps to increments of 15min) they charged us $400 when it was supposed to be $199. half of the time they spent it on the phone.

    EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, CONDESENDING ETC. ETC. I’m attaching pictures so everyone can see the reality. This company should not be in business and BBB will receive a complaint as well.

    I was skeptical at first with a lower quote than the other moving companies but I was very pleased with our move. We agreed to 3 movers for 3 hours for a certain price and there were only 2 movers the day of the move and it only took two hours. The price was reduced from $471 to $299 and nothing was lost or broken. I would recommend Expedient to anyone planning a move!

    On time and professional . The guys took their time in taking care of your things. Very understanding people that work for company. Had to cancel several times because I didn't close on my house and they waited upon me.

  14. Horrible Communication.

    I had never used a moving service prior to this, but everything that could have possibly went wrong- DID! I scheduled a move for 4:00 PM and they did not come until 8:00 PM. I would like to disclose that I initially scheduled the move for 9:00 am, but had to reschedule due to a conflict with the new apartment. However, when I rescheduled, I let them know that if they were unable to accommodate the move to 4:00pm, I would call other movers. They ASSURED ME 4:00 pm would be fine. When I realized they were running late, I called various times in between to see where they were at and I was continuously told "30 minutes" .. I saw good reviews about their communication but I was the one who had to reach out each time and they kept delaying the arrival time. This was highly inconvenient considering I scheduled spectrum to come at 7:00 pm and had to reschedule. I also had to call off work on Tuesday because I did not get to my new apartment and finish the move until 12:15 ish AM. When they came, the movers were cool people and worked diligently at making sure I was done quickly, but I truly think it is management that is poor. Moving forward, I vividly remember the movers carrying my trash can into their truck (which contained toiletries as well as my expensive google home) along with another trash can. My empty trash can is at my new place, but the one with the items is coincidentally lost. I called to inquire about this and I was "assured" nothing was taken so it must have just vanished into thin air. In their words, they "would never steal toiletries" which seems like they are mocking me for complaining about it when I don't care about my toiletries but instead my google home!! I was also charged $99 for them to arrive but this was never mentioned to me when scheduling the move. The guy on the phone claims he mentioned it and even mentioned the total going to be about $296, but I was charged $412, not to mention they came 4 hours late which is absolutely unacceptable and I should have been compensated in some way (I WAS NOT). When I called to inquire about this, I was told "at least they came." This service is absolutely horrible and I feel like they had no consideration for being late, losing my belongings, or anything at all. The guy on the phone was acting like it was a complete joke and made no effort to assist with this issue. I have no idea how this is rated so highly.

  15. Not a reputable company.

    I used Expedient to move two houses into one as my fiancee and I purchased a new house and sold our respective houses. The distance between the three houses was all of one block. Expedient was supposed to send three movers and only sent two. It was a very hot day (Florida summer). Whereas they were on time, worked hard were friendly and professional, one of the movers ran out of steam after about 1.5 hours and things proceeded very slowly. They did not use plastic or blankets resulting in numerous scratches and dings. When they got to the appliances, it went bad. I had decided to swap the appliances in our new houses with the appliances from my house. They severely damaged both doors on my 5 month old $1500 dollar refrigerator. Okay, damage happens, but it was the follow up that really got me to one star. I filed a claim with pictures and heard nothing back for a week, not even confirmation of receiving the claim despite my daily requests. They came back with some BS about reimbursing damage at 60 cents per pound and offered me $180 for the damage. I don't have an estimate but looking it up the repair is almost certainly going to be well over $180 as both doors will need to be replaced (black stainless steel). When they were done with the move they gave me a bill for 3 movers rather than 2, it took the mover over a half hour to get the bill corrected. I would not have written a review if they were a reputable company and did the right thing; asked for a repair estimate and paid it. I don't want anybody else to use this company.
