  1. Buyer BEWARE of Fly Movers!

Our belongings were delivered piled high in two trucks with no regard for damage...and we found a LOT of damage, with the guys blaming their storage guys...ohhhh yes...at some point our belongings were thrown into two other trucks and left in storage for a month!

Their contract, in tiny writing, says they have "30 days from client's earliest stated delivery date" to deliver your property...and they took THE FULL 30 DAYS WITH NO EXPLANATION!!!

We slept on the floor for 30 days.

We chose to let go of the DOZEN damage claims we could have made in favor of moving on with our lives from this terrible excuse for a moving company.

Not looking for sympathy here, but we hope this review helps others make a better choice than we did.

    Let the buyer beware!

  2. Zero rating-HORRIBLE BUT THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME

Bill (William) Peisker gave us a quote for 11K bill was 23k and they held our stuff captive until we paid. Told us to file an insurance claim to get money back (fraud). But they dont have insurance! Then items came damaged, ruined and missing. I would say almost every piece of furniture is damaged or missing! Ivan and Rudy were also names of people we dealt with.

  3. Stole or Lost ALL of our possessions

We hired them for CA to FL move, and they never showed up, they keep claiming our stuff is in some random storage facility who we called and they never heard of Fly Movers. No refund. All possessions missing.

  4. Below poor but no rating available for this den of thieves

I hope this den of Thieves is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and forbidden to even move clumps of dirt from their own shoes. They ought to be subjected to what I've seen discarded animals subjected to as well as used for scientific experimentation. They deserve the worst imaginable treatment for the way they consistently treat customers. They completely fail to conduct themselves as a serious business and they delight in ripping people off as a standard.

  5. Zero stars

…run, don’t walk from Fly Movers. Just a list of the “horrors” In dealing with this company. First, we were low balled in the quote that was given for our move. We ended up paying twice the amount quoted. I paid extra for expedited delivery, the truck showed up four days later than expected with one guy to unload the entire house! When I spoke with a supposedly manager, he said there was nothing he could do since it was the weekend. WHAT? Fly Movers basically would like you to pay in cash like Zelle or Venmo. Not a normal business practice in my eyes. And last but not least, as we were getting our house situated, we noticed several pieces of lawn equipment missing. Oh, did I tell you our contents were stored in their warehouse. Hmm. Do yourself a favor and look at the BBB rating Fly Movers are given.

  6. Terrible Service, Unresponsive and a complete nightmare

Fly Movers has been the absolute worst moving experience of our life. It's now been over 30 days since our property was picked up from our California residence for an out of state move and we still have no idea when the move will be completed. The original quote was revised after the items were picked up with an additional cost of approximately $4000. To make this worse the supposed "weight scale" receipt didn't have the full date listed which makes us question if this is even valid or if the company is possibly attempting to overcharge for their services. Calls and emails are never returned and when we can get someone on the phone they lied about having our personal property loaded on a truck and they would contact us when the drivers are enroute. That was over a week ago and no call back.

We are now pursuing all legal options available to include filing complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (division of USDOT) that governs moving companies, Better Business Bureau and retaining an attorney for civil action against this company.

If you are looking for a moving company you should look elsewhere because this company has been an absolute nightmare and my wife has now been in an empty house for over a month waiting for these people to deliver our furniture. Absolutely horrible service and they don't even seem to care what issues they are causing their customers.

  7. STAY AWAY!!!!!

What a horrific moving experience. I’ve used movers more than a few times. The absolute WORST. If you really care about your belongings please do yourself a favor a STAY AWAY from this company.

I called for a quote. They gave me a rate. Once I was ready to book I called back and they told me they miscalculated the rate and that it would cost me a little more. BUT do their miscommunication they were going to give me 5% OFF.

Cool so I booked the move for $2400 with Bill P. Yes was told that my shipment should be around 2500 pounds AND that if I had a few extra items it would not be an issue.

Once the movers arrived at my location I was not on-site. My uncle facilitated the process for me. When the movers got to my apartment they informed my Uncle that they needed an additional $400 because it was a long walk to the truck from my unit. I spoke to the movers and we agreed that I would pay them $350 via cashapp. Well once the final bill showed up it had the additional $400 included on the bill. Molly at Fly Movers informed me that the movers were not supposed to take any money from me and because they did she said she “fired those guys.” Come to find out she did not nor did I want anyone to be fired.

Once Fly Movers got my things in their possession I received a call from Molly saying they she needed a “Pickup Payment of over $4000.” I was rather shocked because the entire move was quoted for much less. The Pickup Payment was supposed to be 50% of the balance due. Apparently Fly Movers again miscalculated and they now wanted 70% of the balance. The manger and I got into a back and forth over 50% vs 70%. He told me that someone changed the document they sent me and that the standard was 70% at pickup. I told the manager that according to the contract I only had to pay 50%. He threatened me and literally laughed in my face. It was as if now that Fly Movers had all of my things now they were holding my personal items hostage and at this point what can I do to retrieve my items other than pay whatever price they asked.

When I spoke to the movers on-site about the weight of my shipment the movers told me that I should be underweight based on the items that were at my location. How I go from 2500 pounds to over 3 TONS is still a mystery to me. Fly Movers did provide a slip from the weight station however I have no idea how accurate that document really was. Again speaking to the movers that were supposed to have been fired after the move was over he stated again they he didn’t think my shipment was as heavy as Fly Movers charged me.

Eventually Fly Movers agreed that I would pay 50% balance for the pickup fee and the remaining once they arrived in NYC. I paid over $2800 via Zelle. Minus the $350 the movers cheated me out of Molly assured me that my Delivery balance was just over $1700.

Well when the movers arrived in NYC they too wanted to charge me extra for the distance from the truck to my apartment. These movers wanted to charge me $300 and I told him that was not accurate I only needed to give them $200 more, he agreed. He also tried to charge me for a “TIP” UPFRONT???? HUH??? After all that I’d already experienced I was not planning to too AT ALL. I paid an additional $1900plus via Zelle and they started unloading the truck all the while telling me the importance of a tip. Honey I tip well... the last thing I need is a tipping tutorial from a moving company. Most of the guys on the crew were so kind that I tipped them over $300.

A WEEK OR SO after the move Fly Movers charged my card an ADDITIONAL $1100 became according to them there was a miscommunication with my balance at delivery which again was not my fault. These guys without any authorization charged my card. The movers would not have delivered my things if the balance was not paid. They never called to inform me of their mistake they simply took it upon themselves to charge me because they had access to my account information.

This company is A SCAM. Please ma’am Please sir do yourselves a favor a DO NOT i repeat DO NOT use this company.

  8. If using them using fake names sounds legit to you go for it

I can rant on for a long time about how I was told my move was promised in 7 to 10 days and how it took a month and a half, but I can point you to the site I dedicated to my experience with them with proof (voice calls and email)

go to no-fly-movers dot com and see for yourself. They have also been pushing my private information to other moving companies to get harassment calls and emails for quotes.

Please check no-fly-movers dot com because if you use them your life will become a nightmare.

  9. Fraudulent and unprofessional

Moving from California to Tennessee. Pickup was on July 17, 2021. As of September 10th, we’ve received maybe 50% of our belongings. They won’t return our calls, emails, etc. When will the rest of our treasured belongings arrive or will they ever, to be determined. Horrible con-artists with no regard for their client’s needs or valid concerns. Imagine not knowing if you’ll ever see your family photos or heirlooms again.

  10. Horrible Service!!

Worst moving company ever! Quoted one price then changed the price dramatically after picking up our stuff. Held my stuff for 3 weeks due to “lack of drivers.” Called repeatedly for updates and was told my stuff was still in a warehouse in CA. When the stuff finally showed up, they damaged 60% of it. Broke a brand new 65inch tv that I paid extra to wrap, and lost all the screws to my sofa, and charged me for boxes they supposedly used but I never saw. Worst of all they offer $45 for a $500 tv. Don’t use this company!

  11. Don’t get scammed

These guys will definitely rip you off! Don’t pay attention to the generic 5 star reviews, look at all of the 1 star reviews and all of the people that have had similar experiences.

  12. HORRIBLE

These movers are absolutely HORRIBLE!! Scammers and thief’s. Missing items, broken pieces and they offer next to nothing to replace. Oh and they want to pay you very little to take your bad review down. NOPE! Do your self a favor and go elsewhere.

  13. Don't trust them!

TLDR: Bad experience; do not use them.

My family had a bad experience with Fly Movers, and we do not recommend anyone use them for moving or storage needs.

We moved from NC to NY in the summer of 2021. We needed our things stored for a month while we waited to close on our new home. I also have triplet toddlers (they were 18 months old at the time), and I knew I needed a full service move. I provided a full inventory list and got the quote, and I compared it with 2 other companies. Fly Movers was the most affordable for the services that were included, so we signed the contract and put $1500 down on the move.

On moving day, the movers did not bring any tools to disassemble the furniture, and they had to use my husband’s drill. They showed up in a Penske moving truck - not the trailer I was expecting. They were unable to fit all of our stuff in the truck, even though we did not have the 3 cribs, a dresser or a couch as initially stated in my inventory.

Our earliest delivery date was 6/30, and I knew that our stuff would likely not make it to NY by then. I got a call on 6/28 that our things were being loaded up on 6/30, and Molly would call me back when they were done loading. I called her back on 7/1 to find out an update, and she told me that she didn’t have any updates from dispatch and she’d call back. When she did respond, it was that they could not fit our stuff into the load they had and it wasn’t packed up. She told me she would call back with an update. I didn’t hear back from her. I called twice on 7/2 and left messages both times with no response. My husband’s aunt called on Monday (7/5) and spoke with Molly, who told her that there were no updates and she’d let us know. She kept saying that they guarantee it will be delivered within 14 business days from the date of delivery, but contractually they had 21 business days. Who deals in 14 and 21 business days unless you are trying to deceive your customers? She called back the same day and said that they were going to pack up our stuff that week. We didn’t hear back from them the rest of that week.

In that time frame, my husband had to go back to NC and I was alone in NY with 3 toddlers and none of our things. The folks at Fly Movers knew this, and had complete disregard for it.

My husband went to their office on Monday 7/12, and spoke to Molly in person. On Wednesday, 7/14, I finally got a call back from Molly - our stuff was being loaded that day, and delivery would be Friday or Saturday.

The movers showed up Friday morning (7/16) in a U-Haul. They complained about having to bring heavy items into the basement (they refused to move several filing cabinets down as well as boxes of office equipment), and asked for help from my brothers with unloading a lot of the heavier items. As broken items appeared, the movers blamed the folks who packed it up for not wrapping it right, and told me to file a claim. I have a broken lamp, a shattered large mirror, a large broken picture, tears in my couch cushions and seatbacks, holes punched in cabinets, etc.

At that point we found out that the packers stripped most of the screws to three of our tables rendering them useless, so the movers could not reassemble the tables. The packers lost the screws to my daughters bed, the feet and power cord to the base of my bed, and the feet to 2 of my chairs, so the movers could not reassemble the beds or chairs. This was SPECIFICALLY what we hired their company for! It’s been a week and I still have no idea where the screws for my daughter’s bed would be - I found the feet to the base of my bed in a box that was in my daughter’s room, and had to get more help putting all of these things together.

We paid almost $8,000 to Fly Movers, and they couldn’t do half of the work we paid them for. We reached out to Molly, who said she would file the claim for the damages for us. She came back with an offer of $250 and we had to take down any negative reviews. I responded that it was inadequate and hoped we could reach an agreement, but I have not heard back.

If you really look at the “reviews” for Fly-Movers, most of the reviews are either 1 or 5 stars. Most if not all of the “five star” reviews are less than four sentences and generic. The only detailed reviews are the one star reviews. I believe that the five star reviews are fake and made up by the people that work at Fly Movers to bury the true one star reviews. I wish I would have noticed this before we chose them but hindsight is 20/20.

  14. Mover disappeared with my goods

Fly mover is scam. They disappeared with my goods. I received no status update since they took my goods (for over 30 days now). They simply ignored phone calls, text messages or emails. I had to take legal actions.
