Great job!!
Glass City Movers did a great job moving us from Cleveland Ohio to Tampa Florida. Stratos and Fred were great movers. They loaded the truck in 4 hours and gave us there cell number to contact them during the trip down to Florida if we had any questions..When arriving in Tampa we had multiple locations to unload.. The guys were very patient with us, They also placed our items in the rooms we wanted and reassembled everything..I would highly recommend Glass City Movers..Thanks again!!
Misrepresentation of price, service & timeframe.
A moving broker, Perennial Van Lines of Florida, had this company contact me and arrange to pick up & deliver my belongings. They immediately tried to escalate the price from what was quoted. No delivery date was provided, despite multiple phone calls. This company refused to provide an estimated delivery date for more than two weeks. When they finally did so, they wanted twice the quoted price to deliver my belongings. Their estimated delivery date is more than a month from the pickup date for a move of less than 600 miles.
Beyond Dissapointing.
The most disappointing experience I have ever had. The crew of 2 showed up an hour and half late due to a broken down truck, and that set the bar for the rest of the day. 2 movers were sent to move our belongings - in a 2.5 hour time frame all that had been moved were 3 dressers, 2 night stands and a mattress. There were more cigarette breaks being taken (on the truck with our furniture) than work being done. Cigarette butts were left all over our driveway in fact. When we asked the movers why things were taking so long they were extremely combative and argumentative with us - us the PAYING customer. After numerous calls to the office and speaking with the owner - we decided to ask them to just stop and we would have to move items ourselves as we were being charged by the hour.
The owner did not like this and threatened to not give us our belongings back that were already on the truck!! We were charged $450 and the few items they had moved were left in our driveway. Never in my existence have I seen such poor business practices. I was truly horrified and felt extremely "taken".
I had actually used Glass City in the past and had positive experiences - but they have lost my business permanently and that of everyone I know. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy as clearly their motto is taking people for everything they can and not even doing the job they were hired to do. Beyond disgusted and disappointed.
Stress Free Move.
If you asked me for a moving company to go to, I’d say Glass City Movers. They showed up on time and were personable and very fast! there were some items that we didn't know how to pack properly, like lamps, that we just left to them, and they handled them pretty well. They made my move stress free and hassle free. I’d hire them again.
Considerate & Patient Staff.
Glass City Movers helped my grandmother to move to her apartment. They were considerate and patient and ensured her stuff reached safely. Thumbs up.
Furniture Delivery.
Glass City Movers helped me deliver my furniture from my apartment to my mother’s apartment. The moving crew of Kevin and Dylan were really careful with my furniture. The delivery was timely. Thank you.
Commercial move.
Glass City Movers did a wonderful job helping us shift from a smaller corporate location to our present office. They were very careful handling our furniture which was leased. It was important that the furniture not be damaged and Glass City crew did just that. They also ensured our files and paperwork was safely transported. We’re impressed with their services and recommend them.
Great work.
I hired glass city movers to move me from Findlay Ohio to Atlanta Georgia. The 2 men arrived to my home in Ohio on time. They did an inventory list and then began to cover floors and wrap my big furniture. They were very polite and curious while they were working. They loaded my job in 3 hrs which I was impressed.. When they arrived in GA they placed my furniture where I wanted and put everything back together. I would use them again.

Glass city movers I moved on November 14, 2014 with Glass City movers and the reason I am writing this review is that my experience was not a pleasant one for the following reasons: 1. Employees were so careless carrying the furniture and throw it in the truck or drop it in the truck in a very unprofessional way. As consequences, they broke one side of my bed. 2. They were very careless and reluctant when they uninstalled my bed, they were about to lose an important part of the bed that they had forgotten on the floor and I had to run after them to check on them in every step of the process and watch what they were doing. I could not trust them. 3. I called several times John Pastrikos and left a message several times to fix my bed or to give me a refund (as this is their responsibility) but no one returned my calls. 4. I asked the movers several times to wrap and cover the furniture before they move it out of the house but they never listened to my instructions. They should professionally cover the furniture before moving it to protect it from the dust, scratches or any damage if they want to get the job right but they don't do it that way. 5. Movers were so reluctant and slow to get the job on time and the reason is very obvious is to charge me more as they charge per hour rate. I did not like the service with glass city movers and I definitely do not recommend them to any body and I will never do any other business with them. Thank you, Sally Afram, MBA 419-320-2301.
Don't use.
These people are crooks. They overloaded the weight on trucks by not getting fuel before initial weight in. They take initials weight without fuel and no gas. They then pick up your furniture and then fill up on fuel. When they get to your destination for 2nd weight in the top off fuel causing you to be over in weight! Works like a charm, the Company also uses delay tactics on refunds in hopes you will forget about it! Scammers do not use.
