1. Damaged furniture

   They have F rating with BBB.
   
   . Damaged furniture not repaired or reimbursed.
   
   There was $300.00 worth of damage. They were nonresponsive to my claim. Nonresponsive to BBB& Attorney General consumer protection.
   
   They said I had bedbugs but it was residue after heat treatment. They stopped in middle of move and left.
   
   I had to pay double by hiring another mover.
   
   This company hires criminals. "Fly by Night" should be their company name.

2. Left us high and dry

   I am very glad that they lied about the state of my house & left me high and dry. After reading reviews I completely dodged a bullet. My move was completed without any broken, missing or damaged items. Not a BBB accredited business. Will NEVER recommend.
   
   The movers that showed up were smoking right before entering my home. Now I have to get my $$ back from my Groupon and NO one should use them. Groupon or not.

3. Damaged property

   Movers damaged my property during my move, incident report filed, spoke with manager, told I would be reimbursed.....months later nothing. Multiple voice mails and phone conversations regarding reimbursement I was told I would be receiving.....Never happened. I CANNOT recommend.

4. Showed up High, Argued W/ each other, Broke items

   Hired them to load our Uhaul. 3 guys show up and one guy it was his first week and he was totally high- smelled like weed. About an hour into them working he started yelling at his co worker and refused to pack something. These 2 guys argued for 30 minutes (I am paying by the hour). The guy that was high ended up quitting and leaving. The other 2 kept working but did a terrible job loading our truck. Our kitchen table and all chairs were broke. Our coffee table and end table was also broke. I filed a claim over 7 weeks ago and have had no response. I’m left with shattered furniture beyond repair, paid for this terrible service and guys arguing at my house. It was a complete mess!

   

5. Is SUCKS an option!

   RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Please contact me (317-500-3838) for video of damage to almost everything they touched. After showing concern on how they were packing my household items, they locked up the truck and threaten to take my items away if I didn't pay them in advance. Everyone I shared my experience with (realtor, neighbors, friends) told me i should have called the police. WORST (ALL TIME) EXPERIENCE of my lifetime. I don't just mean moving... ALL TIME WORST decision regarding anything. RUN! CALL SOMEONE ELSE... Honestly, please call me.

   

6. Don't Hire.

   PLEASE read all of these reviews prior to booking. Everything below is true and accurate. It really was a horrible experience. I was quoted at $425 for a piano move. They showed up and left the house within a few minutes only to claim they had been there for 2 hours waiting on me. I had to reschedule because of this. THEN, they showed up, moved and dinged up the piano, and wrote me a bill for $750. I called and they only thing they were willing to do was apologize for the wrong quote and then send me a refund check for $180. This check has never arrived. NEVER HIRE.

7. Horrible.

   I wish I would have checked reviews of this company. They are being sued over and over and do not have one positive review. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. They showed up with a truck that had 3 other sofas in it (assume from a previous move that the movers wanted to keep). As a result they couldn't fit all of our furniture in it. Did their movers care? Not at all. Did management care? Not at all. Did we pay for a full empty truck still? Sure did. Then the move - awful. They damaged our master bed, sectional sofa, dryer, dropped bikes and were shoving pieces of furniture in the truck with no regards to care. They lost our treadmill cord. We recognized all the damage immediately - they told us to file a claim. Which we did immediately. We should never have paid them. They are dishonest, will lie to you, not respond and not pay what their contract states they will. When you ask to speak to the owner or someone other than JR (John Fries) they say there is no one to speak to. JR acknowledged the damage and told me they would reimburse me and then it never happens. For three weeks I called them and emailed them. JR said he never received the message because he was so busy. Really? Like he is the only that is busy - how about the time I have spent chasing down a corrupt company that lies and cheats? They are infuriating. when I finally spoke to JR on the phone he said "Corporate" would cut a check for the damages. What a joke. Still waiting for that check and that was two months ago. I notified Groupon of the sham of a company they are representing. They refunded my groupon after I shared all the documentation. I encourage everyone to contact the Secretary of State, Attorney General and continue to share the absolute shame of dealing with this company "Here to There" Movers, John Fries, JR, Jeff at Here to There Movers. RUN RUN RUN away from this sham of a company.

8. Dishonest company.

   Never use this company they are liars,dishonest,scammers,they will hustle you and destroy your property. they will not pay you for the damages. I can guarantee you will be unhappy with there service. This company seem to be broke, they have no money to pay me for the damages that they caused. The movers broke and damaged three rooms of my furniture, that can not be use. My dining room table corner is broken completely off with the leg still attached. This company told me that the movers would take the legs off the table and take the beds apart, did not happen. I am in Small Claims Court now. because they would not pay me for my damage furniture. They also did not complete the move. They came with a very small truck, they were told to make two trips after I had to call the office on the day of the move, because everything would not fit in the very small truck. If you need to move do not use this company, find you another moving company. If you have to wait for another company schedule to clear I suggest you should wait. I made a big mistake using Here To There Movers.

9. Manager hung up on me.

   BEWARE! They charge more than they quote. DO NOT HIRE- worst decision we have made was to hire this company to move a hot tub 10 miles. Free standing hot tub moved from a slab to a slab (easy). Took them less than an hour. HOWEVER, I called the company multiple times to get a quote for moving the hot tub 4 times prior to scheduling. Every time I got a different quote. Anywhere from $300-$375 every call. I decided to book anyways and assumed at most we would pay $375. When the dropped the hot tub at its final location the man informed me they charge extra on Fridays!! Ended up paying $430.
   
   So for anyone wanting a hot tub moved. Even though they say the cost is anywhere from $300-375 you can expect to pay much more. Especially if they charge more for certain days (which they don't tell you when scheduling). Bonus there is a $10 booking fee.
   
   My husband called (he is much nicer and more calm when talking to people) and asked to speak to a manager (Mike I believe his name is) regarding the poor service and to let him now that his staff are not giving out correct information and he HUNG UP (HUNG UP?!?!) on my husband. VERY VERY POOR customer service.

10. Fraudulent and careless.

    Bought a Groupon for 94 dollars that had a 200 dollar value of moving. Was charged 600 still after the Groupon for a couch, a bedroom set, bed, two TVs, random boxes and a freezer. This job took 3 guys almost 5 hours.. When a year ago with more stuff it took a real moving company 3 hours. We were hit with gas charges for some reason even though 40mi is suppose to be in the cost. With only one "experienced" mover it made it super slow, so we had to pay for new guys to be there and damage our stuff. Then when it came time to pay we did not agree, we did not sign and yet the card was still charged. We were swore at over the phone and threatened. Will be disputing the charges.

    

11. Do Not Use This Service in Cary.

    I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. The movers did not provide a proper estimate without checking to understand the scope of the job. They showed up over an hour late on the day of the move. They stacked items that should not have been stacked, such as bicycles on top of living room furniture which caused damage to the furniture. They rushed through the job trying to get to another job. The truck looked like the items were literally thrown into it. They scratched several pieces of furniture. We made a claim on one item to replace it, and they fought us against providing compensation, even though they were grossly and willfully negligent in packing the items. Clearly not professional. I would not recommend anyone use this company.

12. I'm surprised this compay is still in buiness. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

    I don't usually leave reviews but this company is such a joke. Don't expect a call like they say they are going to do prior for a heads up. Then once they show up and your not ready they start clocking you. They were asked to come back since no one knew they were coming and their was stuff in the driveway(that needed to be moved).
    
    Window was 12-5 with 30 minute call ahead. You get told that you are the last stop. Its a 2 hour window at 12? This is your last stop? Yeah this company probably wont last another couple of months. They leave bc they "feel" like your upset/disrespectful. Oh and your in a business where moving isn't stressful and you don't call then start clocking. Well I "feel" like you just took my money.
    
    Don't call customer service to complain bc its your fault and you have the problem. Who has the 1.5 stars all over the internet? Asked to get corporate number and they say they will call you. Come on do you think I'm stupid? Actually I am because I tried saving money with a joke of a company.
    
    Don't waste your money. If you are in the Indianapolis area and wanting to save money. Ill come help you for free

13. Was trying to make a appt .

    Glad they showed there true colors before I made a commitment. I’m going back to 2 men and a truck . There customer service was awesome . And they stand by what they say.

14. The Worst.

    It is hard to imagine a worse moving experience than the one I had with Here2There movers this past summer. Mind you, I have never hired a moving company before this one, but I suspect that my expectations for communication, professionalism, and customer service were reasonable. Allow me to explain.
    
    Our offer on a house had been accepted and with our 4 kids in tow, I knew we would need some help moving. In my hunt for a company to help us out, I came across Here2There on Groupon. I purchased the groupon, scheduled a truck and movers for the Friday afternoon of our closing date, and patted myself on the back for being so pro-active. We found a babysitter and packed all of our things into boxes prior to their scheduled arrival. We were 100% ready for them.
    
    When the day of our move came, the movers never showed up. We had scheduled for them to arrive by 3pm, which I was assured by their office personnel would not be a problem because they had “an easy day” before us. At 4pm I called to inquire about their whereabouts, and was told to wait. At 5pm I called back to do the same and was told once again to wait. At 6pm I called again and this time was told that it wasn’t unusual for a truck to be late and that I should only worry if it hit 7pm. Still no movers. So 4 hours after they were supposed to have arrived I call once more and only now did someone have the courtesy to call the movers and find something out. I received a phone call back 30 minutes later saying the manager would give me a call soon. It was 8:30pm before I received that call and kid you not, he said “we’ve been at you apartment for an hour, but you were not there, so they left.” I had been sitting in my apartment since 2pm, so I told him how wrong he was. In a moment of pure audacity, the guy says “well, it’s late and my guys are tired. Is it a long move?” He then said he would call me back. I had heard nothing by 10pm so I called the main office and lost my mind.
    
    The guy on duty said he was sorry for my trouble, that he would send someone out the next day and he said he would “go to bat” for me on a discount. To make a long and awful story short, the movers were an hour and a half late, they showed up with one less guy than I ordered, then 2 hours later 2 more guys showed up. They charged me for the guy I didn’t order and the amazing discount I received? 10%. Beyond that, they broke some of my stuff and after filing a claim with them I still have not received the reimbursement for those items.
    
    Save yourself some trouble and find someone better.

15. Stole my artificial tree.

    Not only did they go back into my creditcard and charge and extra 60 dollars without my permission..movers stole my palm tree!!
