1. Worst experience in my life!

   After getting a new job in Houston, TX I began to search for moving companies. I found Homesafe through a regular Google search among several others. I instantly fell in Love with Mr. James as he worked through my quote. He promised this was the best rate, that the companied handled both pick up and delivery and they did not out source. I trusted him due to what I believed to be his honesty. He answered when I called with questions and was overall great.
   Now jump to the weeks after. I received a call stating that I need to be ready for pickup the following day. 2 days earlier than scheduled. If not if would be another week or so before the next pick up. Two gentlemen came and loaded my already packed belongings and ensured that I could call at anytime for information. The quote I received from James DOUBLED in price when the movers completed their walk through. Even with him telling about the GREAT DEAL I was receiving.
   The driver called about two days later saying my stuff should be leaving soon because there were trucks ready to go to Houston. I was told that it would take 'about a week' to get my belongings. After the first week I called. No one knew where my stuff was. The awesome Mr. James answered my first call and then no more answer or returned calls. I called the front desk, they were out, "the phone hung up", or just no answer. The driver then informed me that my belongs were in storage IN NORTH CAROLINA. No idea why since I paid the due money and expressed I needed my stuff immediately. ANOTHER WEEK goes by NOTHING. Finally on March 30th I get a call saying my stuff will be put on the next truck and I will receive a call that evening. NOTHING. A day later I call and get the 2nd drivers info. Call. He says he doesn't know me. Call back to dispatch and he verifies. My belongs came a WEEK after this call.
   Boxes were open. Not open as if someone tried to open it. But open as if they were thrown around. Busted at the seams. Things that were wrapped in both paper AND clothed were scattered, My son's Piggy bank, toys, picture frames SCHATTERED. More than 6 Large boxes are missing.
   I was given a 3rd party claims company and filled out the information. Then receive an email a week later saying they no longer work with this company. Since then I have gotten the run around. I am on 2 months. The company has since Stopped responding to calls or emails.
   PLEASE NEVER USE THEM!

2. I Can't Say Enough About This Great Moving Company!

   We just moved from Michigan to Southern California, (August 1th) with Home Safe's help. It was the best move experience we had so far and we have been moving around a lot! The crew was very professional, respectful to our home and on time. The sale representative Romeo Stevens visited our home in Novi to estimate the cost and how many containers we need. He gave me so many great tips to lower the cost. He is friendly, honest and very professional. Scott. was our move- responsible person. She provided us boxes and all packing materials, since I asked to pack boxes myself. She is very friendly, and professional. The whole time, she tried to schedule everything on time with the different time zones and always was in communication with us in order to inform us with the new updates and other info. The loading and delivery crews in Novi and here in Irvine also did an amazing job. Kevin Howey, Jamal Fields and Tom Rindle helped us with loading in Novi. It was the most amazing thing ever to watch them be so careful with our furniture and boxes. The whole crew had a very positive, good mood which made our stressful day much better. Also, the delivery crew in Irvine:  Paradise T., Ralph, Lee T., Jose was very quick and professional. Everything was delivered to the 4th floor and assembled without even a scratch. I am so glad we chose Home Safe to help us with the move and we are very grateful to the whole crew who helped us move our home!

3. Excellent customer service.

   I was an in experienced mover, I spoke with a sales rep. James at Homesafe Moving and Storage and he was with me from day one of my estimate to time of delivery. Excellent Customer service. He gave me excellent customer service . The movers treated my household treasures as if it was their own. I would highly recommend them to my relatives, co-workers etc.

4. Worst service ever.

   I had one of the worst moving experience with this company and I am upset and angry beyond words.First, this company is a brokerage firm that are only interested in your money so please do your self a favor and run away as far as possible! I initially read the review posted by other people below but I thought I would give Homesafe moving and storage a chance but I was burned at the end. I was apprehensive about this company all along which made me drove to Texas with our name brand item and made my wife took the plane because she was pregnant and she wouldn't be able to withstand a long distance drive.We moved to TX from Chicago, we spent over $2800 on moving fees.During the pick up the drivers demanded additional $281 because they claimed we have move item than they thought.Upon delivery the driver also demanded additional $360 because his so called large truck is too large to get into our apartment complex.These people will drag your goods on the floor just to quickly move on to the next and they care less if your item is broken or damaged.Once our item were offloaded, we quickly discovered that some of our household goods are missing.We also found out that most of our furniture were scratched, ripped and damaged and on top of all that, my wife was missing several pair of running shoes, sneakers and timberland boots worth over $1500.Like the review posted by Eboni l. , our move was also farmed out to David and Goliath Moving and storage who turned out to be Kleptomaniacs. These people brought their two girl friends or wives probably to access what they could steal and they stayed in the moving truck the whole time.I called Homesafe moving and storage to launch a complain but no one answers the phone but the moment I connected to their sale line, a man answers and after I told him that my items were missing, he hung up on me.I called again twice and he hung up on me both times after he claimed he was trying to direct me to their claim department.The third time I called,I confronted the same man that has been hanging up the phone why he kept hanging up on me;he claimed they are having problems with their phone line which I know is not true.The next day, I called their number again and I got a recording message that directed me to a claim website called Movingclaims.net where I filled a claim and received a claim acknowledgement email however after few days, I received another email from this same movingclaim company that their service agreement with my moving provider has been terminated.I filled another claim the following day and I received a call from a lady that they no longer have Homesafe moving and storage on their system as a service provider.How could this happen within a few days of filling a claim with this company.I think homesafe moving and storage and Movingclaims belongs to the same entity who created a fake moving claim company to make their company look real and insured.They are only out to scam people out of their hard earned money so please stay away from this establishment at all cost.I LEARNED MY LESSON THE HARD WAY!

5. Worst experience of my life.

   I had my belongings picked up on Oct 9th 2015. I should have known things were going to be horrible when they asked for $1500 more than their original price. However I had already moved and my fiancé was stuck taking on the task of dealing with these people. So they assured us it would get to us in 1-2 weeks. One month later and our belongings still hadn't arrived. Nicole or Keri is who I booked with she assured me if I had any questions I could contact her at any time, however when it came to finding out where my stuff was she was no help. She gave me the run around every time finally telling me she no longer could help me. Then one day we receive a call asking if we could receive our belongings and we were so confused because we had been waiting so long already of course we could receive our belongings. Turns out our stuff was put in storage as we waited it just sat there in storage. So after multiple angry phone calls I finally spoke with Mike the GM who assured me we would get it within 2 weeks and everything would be made right, he even took off $500. So finally I thought ok mistakes happen we can finally just get our things and be done with it. Well going on two months later and past the deadline of their contract we receive a call from customer service asking how things went and I proceed to say I wouldn't know because I don't have my belongings. Mike then got on the phone confused and said he would make it up to me and take more money off the balance and we would have it by the weekend, well tonight a completely different moving company shows up asking for the full price (no discount) and won't even let us inspect our items before we pay. Our stuff has been who knows where for two months how can we just assume everything will be ok. To top it off this new moving company said Mike just dropped off our stuff handed off the contract and said he just didn't want to deal with us anymore and to deliver the stuff. A completely different moving company showed up at my door tonight who in their right mind thinks that's ok? So tonight I still do not have my belongings and the company will not answer our calls. I am completely heartbroken and at a loss knowing I just may not have my belongings ever again. It was the worst experience with moving I have ever had. I would never recommend this company and if there are any good reviews on them they really must be made up because after speaking to people to complain we found out this moving company only has one truck so it all makes sense why delivery takes months. I wish they would have just been truthful but instead they lied and stole from me and my family.
