  1. Houston first movers a joke and theives.

    Houston first movers is a big scam. We were over charged, our stuff was broken or stolen. Bins were gone through, they did not log in all the tools that they wanted to steal. Stole our grandmother's quilts. Our furniture was a mess or broken. A $5600 move turned into $10,500. For that kind of money our stuff should not be stolen or broken.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! Ricky does not work with you and lies.

  2. Charged me on 2 different cards for $2600.00, 12 mile move.

    Ricky is a scam artist and FRAUD. He took %1390.oo from my debit card and $1000.00 from another account. He yelled and swore at me over the phone and even threatened to blow up the truck while my belongings were in it. I have called, texted and emailed to get a claim form and open a dispute. Ricky has not answered any request to contact me to attempt to settle this. The BBB has been made aware, the State of Texas, City of Houston and now here. My items were not moved into the house, they were left in the garage, broken, left unassembled and hardware was nowhere to be found. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN and Ricky needs to be in jail.

    DON'T HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY. This company lost 2 of my TV sets, lost my headboard, and broke my furniture and kitchen wares. There was a delay with the delivery of my stuff from Texas to NY so that clearly broke our contract. They are very unprofessional. It is difficult to communicate with them. They cost us a lot of money, stress, and they don't care about anything other than making money. They need to be put out of business.

  4. Lost Four Boxes, Lost Vacuum Cleaner, Lost Parts For Assembly.

    I HIRED THIS COMPANY ON 09/22/2016 TO MOVE MY BELONGINGS FROM HUMBLE, TX TO CHERRY HILL, NJ.
    RICKY PROMISED ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION IN THREE WEEKS. THEY WERE LATE. AFTER NUMBER OF PHONE CALLS, THEY ULTIMATELY DELIVERED IN NINE WEEKS ON 12/1/ 2016. . THEY LOST FOUR BOXES. THEY ALSO LOST LEGS & HARDWARE FOR TWO END TABLES &ONE COFFEE TABLE.
    RICKY KEPT PROMISING THAT HE WILL CHECK THE WAREHOUSE AND LET ME KNOW. ON PHONE HE OFFERED TO PAY FOR LOSSES.

    RICKY DOES NOT PICK-UP MY PHONE, DOES NOT ANSWER TEXT MESSAGES OR E-MAILS. I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING NOTE BY DRIVER THAT FOUR BOXES WERE MISSING @ DELIVERY. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.

  5. Do Not Use This Company; They Are Con-artist!

    If someone only answers the phone “moving company”, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE CON-ARTIST!! If I could give zero stars I would! I am utterly disgusted w/ how this company can still be in business. I called & spoke w/ Jessica whom was friendly. I was glad they were able to do a last minute move request after calling quite a few other companies that could not. On my first call, Jessica stated there will be a 1 hour charge of $149 as a deposit which I agreed to. After receiving the quote confirmation and acknowledging it, my mom noticed that the “Deposit” turned into a “Service Charge”. After calling back, I spoke w/ Jessica again whom claim she had her manager take off half and would only charge me $72. After reconsidering (feeling something wasn’t right) & reading the reviews I had just found, I called back again to cancel. Now Jessica placed her manager, Ricky on the phone who tried to sell me a bill of goods, making all kinds of promises and sweet talking me. He said the reviews were not to his company but to a company with the same name & he was currently pursuing legal action to have them removed. He promised me that he will make sure all of my items were delivered and intact. I still felt leery, but agreed to go through with it due to lack of other companies availability during the holiday weekend. He also promised that I could call him personally to cancel if I still felt uncomfortable later in the evening. After coming across more horrible reviews on another website, that named Ricky specifically and his con-artist tactics, I called back to cancel; however, I was dumbfounded that I could not get through. They blocked my number!! I then called from my mom’s phone. Jessica once again placed Ricky on the phone, after I told her $72 refund was unacceptable and I expect to receive all my money because no services was performed! Ricky then proceeded to threaten me that I signed the quote and they will not give me a full refund because I should have cancelled within 48 hours of the move request. It hadn’t even been 24 hours since I placed the initial request, and that was not stated in the quote. After arguing back & forth, I eventually hung up & called my credit card company to dispute the charges. They are taking care of it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  6. Terrible.

    There is not one positive thing I can say about this company. They were 8 hours late picking my stuff up; they were over 12 hours late delivering my stuff, which resulted in 2 hotel rooms that I needed to get. When they eventually delivered my stuff, most of my furniture had dents and scratches. They forgot to bring everything. The owner is extremely hard to deal with and very uncooperative. He has never heard of the say “the customer is always right”. This is the worst moving company, do not use them.
