  1. Colorado to Az Barbara Crouch.

I am trying this for the last chance we have. First: What I am asking is and hoping some one will read this who has our furniture. or boxes. There is one box that has my husbands ole moving' s of his deceased parents. We would love to find them and get them back. Second: This is the worst company we have ever dealt with. they did 7000.00 worth of damage on the stuff we did receive in Az. we Lost 3000.00 dollar's of furniture we did not receive at the Az. location. Plus the damage they did at our house in Colorado. We have tried many many times to get this resolved with no response. Even the police from Az and Colorado did not get no ware with this. This company does not care what they did to us or any one else. This company hires undocumented workers who are trying to make a living here and they are taking advantage of them and unfortunately we are the ones who pay the price. Here are some of the items we did not receive: 2 book cases, wagon wheels, out side compass computer desk, white with oak top night stand a trash can with buckets and door mate in it. several boxes with misc items. big jar of change rugs so much we have lost. Thanks for your help.

  2. Destroyed my Electric Meter and refuse to pay.

HQ Movers was hired to "shuttle" my possessions from a location outside Kalispell Montana to my home which is up the mountain a little way from town. There are a couple of switchbacks that a 53' van cannot negotiate to get up the hill (a fact I explained three times to the original contact (Trans United Moving) and was completely ignored. So, for an additional $7000, HQ "shuttled" my possessions from the 53' van parked in Kalispell to my home up the hill. Many of my items were damaged, destroyed, or didn't show up at all. Please note that I cannot fault HQ for that, because they did not load my items in Colorado, they were just hired to unload them in Montana. Unfortunately, HQ arrived here to unload the first shuttle rather late in the afternoon, and as they were moving the van around, they backed over and destroyed my electric meter that supplies power to the house. I had one of the HQ employees call his supervisor and I took the phone and talked with the supervisor about HQ's responsibility to replace the meter and I was told that it would be handled. I finally contacted the power company who came out to de-energize the transformer at about 11:00 pm that night. So, the first night in our new home was without any power. I called several different electric companies the following morning and finally got in contact with one who could do the work that day. It was early afternoon before the new meter was installed and the power company could come back out to re-energize. I gave the address for HQ movers to the electrical company so they could send them an invoice. Now six months have passed, and I've just been informed that the electrical company who came out to replace the meter has still not been paid. Not the mark of a reputable company.

  3. Move from CO to Fla.

Was told by American Eagle would take a week. Then HQ came in. They arrived on time, swiftly put items on truck. I was in middle of a panic attack literally falling asleep while he wanted me to sign papers. My signature was not in right spot so they held onto my stuff. NO ONE tried calling me or my Dad's cell. Order# is only on ONE paper, and on the household item paper they only put word BOX no description
Okay. Fast forward to arriving in Fla. Got run around one phone and was told it would all stay there till I pay the balance.
Cherry on top is when they then told me they no trucks to transport so took additional week or two to arrive. The drivers were annoyed and a LOT of items were broken or missing.
I have been trying to get a claim done and being told I never sent them I mailed, and filled out web page TWICE. And called.

  4. Worst Ever.

The estimate was $2500. Once loaded, the cost skyrocketed to $8,000. Belongings were held ransom until $6,000 was paid, with $2,000 due at delivery. The delivery was made by a different company. The delivery driver was nice and unloading was done without incident.
HQ Movers belong in prison for fraud. Never, never use them.

  5. Horrific Experience.

Price quoted more than doubled and my items were held for ransom until I paid the additional cost. They missed the pick up date and most of our items were delivered damaged. I have submitted claims but no sponge has been made. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and encourage you to do the same. They have not responded to the BBB so I am calling my credit card company tomorrow to see what options I may have to dispute the charges with them.

  6. Worst Movers.

If it was possible to give negative rating I would give this company -100. They are frauds in reality. They told me one charge when they loaded the truck but upon delivery the driver would not unload until I pay the balance which was way higher than I was actually supposed to. I payed almost 800 dollars over and then he was also charging me 700 dollars for long carry move (carrying the stuff into the apartment).I did not pay that much and he just left the stuff outside of my building and I had hire a separate person for carrying my stuff into the apartment.
I called the manager and he was the most nasty person I have ever spoken to and he admitted that this is the way they do business. He admitted doing this Freud everyday and challenged me if I can do anything to him and threatened me that pay the rest of the balance or the driver would throw away your stuff somehwhere.

  7. Liars!

They told us our price would not change then totally screwed us on the final charge. The manager was horrible to talk to and barely spoke english. Our delivery date kept changing and we are suspecting retaliation with our items. We reported to BBB and turns out they are reviewing the company. We tried contacting the movers for almost a month with no response. HORRIBLE company. Report them as well if you haven't this needs to stop.

  8. Terrible company, horrible move.

If it were possible to give a negative number of stars, that's what HQ movers would get from me. Well, maybe half a star because Orion, the pick-up driver, was pleasant, however, he was either misinformed or misrepresenting the truth in saying that the load of furniture would stay on that one truck until it arrived at our destination, and when it would arrive. All the issues that other people have reported in previous negative reviews happened to us, including two antique pieces arriving badly broken. In addition, something that does not belong to us was left with our belongings. I have emailed the manager and sent a picture (it's a quilt holder, if the owner is looking at this, see attached picture), but got no reply. The people who dropped off our stuff were quite unprofessional, carried a heavy sideboard upstairs and left a heavy dresser downstairs, despite the instructions of our family member who received the delivery (which was over a week late), and demanded extra money to put items in the right places. (We didn't pay.) Also, they left ratty, grubby blankets taped over several pieces of furniture. Never, ever will I use HQ movers again, and I advise you not to. (By the way, the marketing person will tell you that YELP only posts bad reviews for some reason. Wrong.).

  9. WORST service.

Stuff was picked up from my house and was delivered timely but here is the twist.

2 tables got broken during transit and one floor lamp missing. When asked with delivery person he had no clue over the same and asked to check with Claims people.

Submitted the claims with proper pics and they responded after 3 months saying that we don't cover such damages.

What is it that they cover? What is the point of using them if they don't cover anything.

Please never ever use this company for transfer of your hard earned stuff.

  10. Worst experience.

DO NOT USE THEM. They are at best unprofessional and worst crooks who use your stuff to extort you for money. We received a quote, and when our stuff was loaded, said our paymemt was $2000 over the quote. We we tried many times to call and dispute, but no one answered. After we finally reached someone , that staff was clueless (employee turnover is rampant), we weren’t allowed to speak with a manager. Our stuff was picked up June 4th, and delivered July 1st after being broken down in Kansas City for two weeks. The driver wouldn’t return our calls or texts. They finally arrived at our home and informed us our driveway was too steep for the semi to park and required an extra $400. We had told the office of our driveway but of course they didn’t communicate that to the driver. I don’t know how they are still in business.

  11. HQ Movers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have exceeded the 21 days for delivery and I have not heard from them in weeks. Repeated phone calls from myself, the police, and my insurance company have not been returned.

  12. Don’t hire, the company is terrible.

Worst experience of my life. Our belongings were picked up on 6/3/18 and we were first told by the driver our stuff would be there in 48 hrs. The company later told us that was a lie and illegal. We have yet to find out, after numerous calls, as to when it will be delivered.
The driver was terribly rude, disrespectful, didn’t know how to load a truck properly and left trash and cigarette butts all over our yard. He was rough with our furniture, almost dropped some of it, and I’m hoping he hasn’t ruined our 160 dresser. He treated us (my mom and I) so badly the neighbor came over to step in and defend us. We called the company that contracted them, and the lady we spoke with said (after she spoke with him) she wanted to strangle our driver. We should have demanded he unload our belongings and called the police.
The contrasting company we spoke with assured us we would have plenty of space for our stuff. The driver didn’t take everything on the list, tried to tell us it would cost another $1300 and and we were left with 2/3 of our belongs to move ourselves. It’s still sitting in Oregon.
Our belonging have yet to be delivered, and they say we still owe them $2000 upon delivery.

  13. Colorado to Montgomery.

Using this company has been the worse experience in my 15 years of military service. Every time I call to get a status on the shipment of my furniture is the same answer "it's getting packed on the truck today". I selected the 4 June for my delivery date and it's now 25 June and haven't received one call from them stating my delivery in route. They originally quoted me at $4200 now saying it's going to be $2200 at delivery after I have already paid over $3,000. The weight tickets was bootleg tickets and I have requested I see my stuff weighted.
Also the guy that call the informer said my furniture look about 7500 lbs and when they email me those old weight tickets it add up to exactly 7500lbs. I asked over the phone do you really think you can look at a 2 level home and determine the exact weight of my furniture. They only replied with that was the weight. I told them the weight tickets was dated 2 months before you picked my stuff up. They never replied back, so I called and they said they will re- weigh my furniture. I haven't received anything yet. I will be reporting this company across the Military. My family has be sleeping on the floor and air mattress since the 4th of June. Now they are saying they have 21 working days or 30 days total to deliver my furniture. Our family summer vacation is a no go this year because of this, we have no clue when our stuff is getting delivered.

  14. Don’t Use This Company.

Never use these people. It started late March when I started working with White Glove movers. They set up all the details of price & date of move. I was not aware that they had another company that would deliver my things. It was HQ movers. We set up the pickup date for April 16. Were told they would be there between 2-4. Pickup was Manitou Co. At 5 pm they still had not arrived. I called & spoke w Bailey & she said it would be the next day that they had a bigger load than expected. Family had been waiting all day. Again I had to call them about the arrival. I was told it could take up to 21 days before I got my things. They waited until they got a full truck load & were coming my way which is in Miss. I called on NUMEROUS occasions & inquired when I would get my things. I was speaking to Bailey all but 1 time. I was told it’s on the way, the truck will be loaded tomorrow, it should be here soon etc. Every call was a different answer. Lie after lie after lie. They assured me I would be notified 24 hours in advance when they would be at my location. Well I called them & it was in route. It should be here in 3-4 days after I got the drivers name & called him. After 4 days I texted him & he said he would be there the next day between 11-2. This was more than 24 hours notice. Guess they were just going to show up & hope I would be there. Well they did call me but weren’t able to find the exact location so I had to go meet them. Then.. the truck was too big to go to the house so I had to locate trucks to unload my stuff on & take to the house. Thankfully it was only 8 antique pieces so that wasn’t bad. The items were packed very well. The men were sorta nice & did at least help unload some of the heavier pieces in the house. It was quite an experience I hope I never experience again but would never use them or recommend them. It was well over the 21 working days it took to get my things. Best price is not always best service. Live & learn!!

  15. Do Not Use This Company, They Will Lose Your Items And up Charge You.

Whoever is rating these guys 4 and 5 stars must be working with the company. This was the worst experience I ever had with a company. At first, they called me and said they will be loading on the April 27th, between 2-4. No one showed up, I had to disturb my tenants that are living in my rental house and I also had to have someone stay there for 3 hours, without them telling me they can't come that day. I called and wanted to get an explanation but they didn't get back to me until the next day. At that time they said that they can come and Sunday, they came and started loading the truck at around 12 pm, after they loaded they told my girlfriend it's actually going to be 3800, the original quote was 1400. The items were already loaded so she felt that she had to pay them. I would have never agreed on that price, especially with the poor customer service experience they displayed.
