  1. Do Not Use This Company.

    Moving truck took too long to arrive from NY to CA. Furniture (bookcases, large roll top desk, armoire, very large mirror etc.) received in damaged condition, baseball sized hole in top of armoire. NOT happy with this move at all as delivery was LATE, items were broken and we're still going through the boxes to check for more damage. Would not recommend this moving company to anyone!! I could go on, but I would be reiterating. Lily tried to be helpful. Estimate was way off and I didn't appreciate being told what the gratuity should be. The actual service cost of the move is NOT reflected ~~ what is reflected was the estimated cost. What a HORRIFIC move. NEVER AGAIN!!

  2. Goods hels hostage.

    Jets rude driver Miha Gulscinschi refused to deliver my goods after five days delay, claiming he cannot back up a trailer into a storage company yard in Naples, he demanded $500 for redelivery.
    His operations manager back the demand for the $500. My goods are been held hostage for payment,.The sales person was pleasant and helpful, the others are insouciant.

  3. PA to CA - Poor.

    Bottom Line advice, move on from Jet and use someone else. They were profesional up front yet heard nothing once my goods were picked up. Once they arrived, weeks late the dirver attempted to con my wife out of an additional $400. I would not recommend Jet to my worst enemy. Cannot afford to aste more time..Good Luck.

  4. Did not show up.

    We were booked for packing and loading on a Saturday, with repeated reassurances that delivery would be the following week, because the main truck for Ohio was leaving that night.  This was very important to us and we booked them based on that.  On Saturday, noone showed up and noone called.  We could not reach anyone since it was a weekend.  We left voicemails and sent an email.  On Monday, we called again and the office seemed surprised.  I'm not sure how they would not know that a pick-up had been missed.  By then it was too late to reschedule or book another company, and the ensuing ordeal we went through - packing everything ourselves, renting a uhaul truck and getting everything to Ohio within a week - was awful.  However, I will say they were fair and quick in refunding our 25% deposit, which took 5 days.  I also note that they are also called "Jet Relocation Inc" and "Expert Movers Inc".

  5. Still no delivery.

    This company has had our 2 bedroom household goods for over 60 days and they are holding it for ransom. They are trying to charge us three times the original estimate, claiming we have three times the amount than the original estimate. They showed up at 9:30 pm with 2 trucks, one was already loaded with another persons belongings and finished loading at 11:30 pm. They had the papers signed by us under duress without them being filled out and without them signing the papers. The final binding estimate was conveniently left out of all the papers signed at the day of pick up. When requested for this estimate it was signed by them, however all other documents were not signed. We have negotiated with them over this past 60 days. We have issued a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. We have been working with a liason to the FMCSA called www.moverescue.com. We have spoken to lawyers, lawyers have sent letters and made phone calls to Jet moving systems and they have ignored their contacts. The Company is located in Pennsylvania and the address listed may be a fake address. They do business in NJ, PA, NY, DE and claim they are long distance movers. They are willing to release my house hold goods to us for $1000 more. They already have $2200 from us. They claimed that they can not "shrink our stuff" but after they got copy of my lawyers letter and some contact from the FMCSA they offered to drop the amount of belongings by 640 cubic feet. They also wrote on the new quote that the cubic feet was "unconfirmed".   We just want to get our belongings delivered at the correct price. We have an estimate from another moving company that works with Atlas moving for the actual cubic footage of our items, since he came to the house and actual measured the items in the house. When I told Jet Moving Systems that I had this proof, their answer was "How do we know we picked up the exact same items as that estimate." I see that there are at least 11 other customers that have had the exact same experience. There are probably many more that have not listed a review.  We are standing our ground and do not want this to happen to other customers.   6. The worst company ever, total nightmare.

    They are liars, I payed double the price they told me before, everything they told me was not true. The sales people were so rude, and left me on hold on for several minutes. At the beginning, they told me that I'd get my stuff a week after the pick up, which was totally false, because the delivery was 30 days after. The manager was really nasty when I called her, and didn't care at all. I got my stuff clearly damaged and they didn't pay for it. PEASE NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY, YOU'LL HONESTLY REGRET IT.

  7. Jet Moving Systems not reputable moving company.

    Do not use this moving company. I am currently moving from NJ to GA and I am under contract with them. They picked up our belongings on 6-20-2014 and are now holding my belongings waiting for us to pay 3x the original amount. I could use some support on this, as I am currently negotiating with them. If you are willing to discuss this company with me, please send me a message. I am willing to do what it takes to do the right thing. Please help.

  8. Do Not Use This Moving Company!!

    I wish I would have saw these reveiws before booking this moving company.  The company quotes you one price and when they come to pickup your items the price goes up by $2000.00.  The operating managers are very rude, disrespectful, and they lie from the beginning to the end.  When my items were fiinally delivered, the truck drivers said the truck would not make it into the development.  I live in a 600 unit development and the development is built so 18 wheelers can come in.  Long story made short, the truckers did not want to come into the development, I had to call 911 and they put my boxes onto the street because they threaten to take my items back to NJ.  No men involved in moving my boxes off the street both me and my daughter had to move boxes off the street for about 3 hours. Personal boxes where opened, anything that said frigile was opened, they broke my profressional hair dryer, they broke my grandsons train table and in moving the boxes from off the street, it started to pour rain and the remaining boxes got wet.  PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL GETROBBED!!  I was quoted $1080 but I paid over $2000.

  9. Everyone's worst nightmare.

    Unfortunately I didn't see this review site until it was too late. Do not hire these people, you will be sorry. I found them through a website that seemed a bit like angies list. Boy was I wrong. I sent them very exact dimensions and descriptions of 10 boxes and 23 art pieces printed on wood. I spoke to Emily Ruiz before hand who told me to allow 7-14 days for delivery from New York to Los Angeles. So I bought an airline ticket for 14 days after they picked up and allowed 14 additional days to install my art show.The day of the pickup I had decided to send 20% less work and was expected a readjustment to the price. All of a sudden the driver brought in a new contract and said my shiment would be 85% more. I said that actually I had less to move than they were expecting. But my work was locked in to the truck and the driver was making up new estimates. I signed a bogus bizarre contract under duress that had pages of super tiny text on the back I didn't see until they promptly left. I knew it was going to be bad.I contacted them immediately and they homored my original "locked in' estimate. This was the begining of my real problems.                                                                  I arrived in Los Angeles and the shipment wasn't there. I contacted Jet Moving Systems and they said it would be there shortly. The days rolled on, I called when they opened every day and was hung up on, left on hold for up to 2 hours, lied too about the arrival date over and over, then they "lost" everything for 20 days! by this time my art opening had past, the ads were null. I continued to try and get my work back and they continued to avoid my calls, lie to me, and even gave me a false number to a driver from another mover. By this time they claimed my work had been found in Maine- further away from the destination than when it started. They said it would be transfered to a pod and delivered by train. on the 41st day it arrived, after they lied for the second to last time: saying it wouldn't arrive that day, and thus I wasn't there at the destination. Ms Adams lied for the final time by claiming that she would refund the body of the credit card charge- not the deposit or the cash the driver demanded. Of course this did not happen. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  10. Nightmare move.

    I can't even begin to list everything that went wrong. This is an AWFUL company, DON'T USE THEM! They are extremely dishonest. Was quoted $1100. Paid $3000. They put 4 holes in our walls while they were here. The subcontractor they used found someone on craigslist or something to help empty the truck. Broke our dining room chair. All our big items came back with dents/rips/scratches/ect. Disrespectful with our personal stuff, throwing them on the ground. Our stuff was supposed to be seperate from everybody's and it wasn't at all seperate. Rude workers. FARAH told me to email her everything that went wrong so we could start a claim. I called 2 weeks later to check on my claim and there wasn't one. She lied to me and ignored me. Just horrible. Don't even bother with them. This isn't even everything that went wrong, I'm just tired of thinking about this POS company. Trust me, their "services" are NOT worth the headache. .

  11. Awlful Movers.

    They underquote you and double the price after they have your belongings in the truck.
    Once the truck leaves you are at their mercy, I kept being lied to, passed from one person to another andf avoided. A real scary feeling when someone pretty much has your life in their truck.
    Upon delivery you find out that they pretty much don't take responisibility for anything they break and it's an ordeal to try to get your tyhings reimbursed or accounted for.
    They estipulated how much tip they were expecting.
    Don';t use this company if you care for your sanity and especially if you're couting on them to meet a deadline. God forbid you have a job to go to.
     
    Worst experience of my life. WOULD NEVER DO IT AGAIN !!

  12. Fraud!! hidden fees!!

    You will never be satisfied with this company mark my word! you will never get the price what they tell you to . they will come pick up your merchandise and charge you lots of hidden fees which they never mention at the begning . if you don't take my advice you ill pay extra I promise you that . I never leave feedback cus don't have time for that but I think its important to do this time cus they are 1005 wrong and far away from being professional .

  13. Everything About this company is horrible!

    I am so appalled at Jet Moving System to say the least First and Foremost, when I talk to Daron in March or early April I was quoted one price and when the movers came to Brooklyn New York to pick up my items they were so late they came after 11 am that I left New York heading to Chicago after 5 pm rush hour! They took so long loading my stuff on the truck once loaded they doubled my price to over $3000.00 when it should of been around half of that when I spoke to Daron. He also informed me that whatever I eliminated from my inventory list of items that it will reduce the original price of which was $1914.00. I got rid of a lot of items on the list and it didn't reduce my price it made it more! Also, I was told that they do the packing but a day before the movers came out I called to check in and they said they don't do packing. I had to run around at the last minute and get boxes before they arrive the following morning late! Once I got my exact destination in Chicago I gave Jet Moving System a 3-week notice to come but they still were not on time but they did do their best to get my items to me a day after I requested. Nevertheless, Once my items arrived my wooden furniture was damaged my mattress to my room and my kid's room were ripped filthy and dirty, they actually use my kids mattress covers to drag the address on the ground during the pickup!. Both of my leather couches are ripped in certain areas on the couches! During my pick up of my items, I had 35 boxes when my things were deliver I had 34 boxes also someone else things were with my stuff! in a white and red stripe plastic bag! I told the guys who deliver my items that is not my bag! When the guys went to go put up mu furniture all the screws were missing! My tall wooden closets for my youngest baby has to be throw out because there are no screws to put it together! I have also had issues with tried to get in contact with a manager name Charles on several occasions every time I would call regarding my items before and after the delivery he was never available always in a meeting! The customer's service skills over the phone is horrible! Farah is a piece of work as well! I would not recommend no one use this moving company please beware don't use jet moving system to move your items! Or you will be so sorry!

  14. Horrific experience.

    The experience was horrific! Unprofessional, and terrible customer service. I would like to indicate that this is not the first time I move or use a moving company. However, this is a first time I had such horrific experience. I read all good reviews and I feel that they all were written by employees of the company. * when I initially contacted jet moving, I spoke to solei, who ensured me that she is giving me the best possible estimate based on my list of things and as long as list does not change I will not pay a penny more and all material is included. *when the truck finally arrived, at the time of the moving, list of things was the same and not changed, I was told, that my cost is changing and instead of $855.00 I should pay $ 1800.00. When I asked to speak to his superior, the person in charge of the moving called someone and spoke in a completely different language and then gave me the phone. Farah, person on the phone was very rude when I tried explaining the situation, I canceled the moving with her and told the guys to leave. However, mike told me, that he can keep the same price and will let me know after he loads the truck how much more will fit in the truck. After loading the truck, he told me that he will charge me $1500.00 for everything. I told him I am not able to pay that and want my stuff back. He told me that he will not bring the stuff upstairs and will leave them outside. I called the main office again and unfortunately spoke to the same person, Farah, who continued to be rude, I explained the situation that her driver wants to leave my staff outside, she yield at him not to do that and started arguing with me in terms of payment, I asked her at least to negotiate and after a long battle she decided to negotiate to $1400.00 and have everything delivered on the 30th of august 2013 to Miami. As I predicted, my stuff were not delivered on the 30th, even though, I called on august 15th and spoke to Charles, who assured me that the delivery will be made on august 30th and I should call him next week to find out the time of the delivery. When I called him next week, no one wanted to speak with me, representatives of the company were taking messages every day that I would call and no one will call me back. In a mean time, I had, my boyfriend fly from new york to be here for delivery. Finally, on august 29th I spoke to the same person, Farah, who assured me, that me delivery will be in Miami on the august 30th as planned in the afternoon, and someone will call me before 11:00 am to confirm. I took a day off from work to be home for delivery. When I did not receive the phone call from jet moving or dispatcher, I called jet moving back to confirm, again no one wanted to speak with me, only when my boyfriend called them back, he was able to get Charles on the phone, who informed us that delivery is not going to be here until September 16 or 17th, but he will not know for sure. We set the date for the 16th and I got 16th and the 17th scheduled with my building because they required a week in advance notice for moving. When I called on the 14th to confirm the 16th, it was moved to the 17th of September. When the truck finally arrived on the 17th. Michael, the truck driver, refused to deliver the furniture unless I pad the balance in cash before taking the things upstairs, in addition to that, I had to pay him $150.00 more because the elevator is further than he expected. After a long battle between him and I, he asked me to at least give him another $50.00, which, I planned giving them as a tip anyway, so he took everything upstairs. In conclusion, when everything got upstairs, all boxes were damaged and re-taped and most of my plates and cups were broken and my king size bed headboard and foot boards are damaged and my dresser handle broken. They were trying to fix it, but next day handle broke and a footboard detached. Now I have to buy new bedroom set, plate set, new juice maker and few other kitchen utensils due to the unprofessional handling of boxes and furniture. Please do not use them!

  15. Horrible Experience.

    I hired Jet Moving Systems when I was moving from Chicago to New York and had an awful experience. They sent Uber Movers to get my stuff in Chicago without notifying me. The day of my move, I had trouble getting in touch with the company and the movers kept pushing back the time of the move until I finally got a call around 8pm telling me that they would be coming the next day instead. Luckily I had given myself an extra day before the lease was up (though they didn't know that), but this would have been a huge problem had I not. When the movers came, they were dropping my stuff and told me that I couldn't pay with a credit card even though the dispatcher had told me that I could. They were supposed to put my stuff in storage while I looked for a place in New York, but, at one point, they lost my stuff for about a week and had no idea what state/storage facility/etc. it was all in. When I finally found a place about 2 months later, the movers were actually from Jet Moving Company and much more professional and punctual. They are the only reason I'm rating this company with unsatisfactory instead of poor. I will never use Jet Moving Systems, or apparently Uber Movers, again.
