  1. Claim for lost items.

I totally agree with Anna, this gang of incompetents should be jailed for their behavior. I submitted a claim for lost items back in January and have yet to hear from these horrible people. I think they may have shut down and are operating (D/B/A) under a different name. I plan on making a trip to Brooklyn to investigate them further.

DO NOT USE this group of miscreants!!

  2. SCAM Movers.

They're such a scam. Spoke to Richard on the phone - only chose them simply because they were not a broker and the 10 day delivery guarantee. Oh, ho, ho - let me tell you how false all of this was.

After you speak to Richard, Lisa gets in touch with you. Even during the quoting process, Lisa had a few moments of rude sarcastic attitude which I looked past because I was in a bind to get my stuff across the country quickly. They're obviously nice when they are trying to get your business - very adamant about getting my deposit of which she said was $100 but later charged me $140. That's fine, I can look past that..

I didn't have that much stuff and I was quoted $1,400 with the possibility of a $300 shuttle fee which they didn't out right tell me about, I had to ask them about additional charges and press for details.

Pickup - the guys were nice and did a good job of packing my stuff; however, they charged me for a lot of stuff that in the initial contract that Lisa Longo sent over would be free. Red flags are just swinging left and right but they've packed my stuff, what am I going to do at this point. WIth those red flags waving, I ask the pick up movers if they're directly employed by Lexington or if they're a different moving company that Lexington hires, and they went ahead and confirmed that they are a different moving company that is contracted by Lexington. OH, SO LEXINGTON MOVING SERVICES ARE BROKERS!

I arrive in New York on the 10th day - no stuff. No call, no email, no response to email, no response to call, no response to voicemail. For over two weeks. Lisa finally emails back saying contact Don and gives me a phone number. Call Don - phone is completely off for 5 days. Get a hold of him and when I explain my frustration that my stuff isn't there, he says it's ridiculous and no one told me that it'd be there in 10 days and that was impossible. . . . . .

Well, they have my stuff so there is literally nothing I can do about it. I ask him when the truck is leaving, he says that weekend and the driver should call to schedule drop off time. Driver does not call in the next 7 days so I call Don back (Don seems like an older gentleman that should be retired because when I try to explain things to him, he doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying and repeats things he's been saying over and over and never answers your questions). Don then proceeds to tell me the truck just left yesterday and gives me a phone number to the driver.

HOLD ON, if you're not a broker, why am I doing all the work here? I call Don multiple times before the scheduled delivery again to tell him how upset I am and that they have broken the contract agreement set forth by them and that I was not going to pay the full amount. Guess what? Don doesn't pick up or call me back.

Drop Off: Movers come and tell me to pay and I tell them I'm not going to because I called Don multiple days ahead of drop off to work out the total and how I refuse to pay the full amount. Oh, also they charged me the $300 shuttle fee of course, but the name of the contracted moving company was on the truck that came to drop it off. JUST BTW. Those movers and I try to contact Don for over an hour - of course no pick up. So because I refuse to lose all my money after I have already bought more than half the stuff that is on the truck, they leave with my stuff. THEY LEFT WITH MY STUFF. I WAS SO CLOSE.

Don finally calls back and remember how I mentioned Don is a bit incompetent, he thought that I was talking about the shuttle fee, oh no honey. not that. SO anyway, they reschedule another dropoff which I am again charged another $300 fee. I am so over this company I just paid. Another guy called me and said to file a claim and when I asked who to file it with he said it was Don. Forget it, I'm cutting my losses here to never have to deal with them again but I hope no one ever uses them.

Also, red flag: They only take money order or cash on pick up and cash or postal money order on drop off. I should've known. I thought I was just helping out a small mom and pop business. NEVER AGAIN.
