  1. Extremely disappointing experience.

I can't say enough bad things about the new owners of this company. They showed up literally 12 hours late and had no supplies (no dolly, no moving straps, no blankets). Despite what their website says, there are extra charges for everything. The movers are "part-time" movers, this is not their day job. Because they are so tired before they ever start, it takes them twice or three times as long to move you. Breakage is substantial because they don't know how to load a truck. My suggestion is to hire the day workers at Home Depot or your local college kids, you'll get much better results. Don't expect to get any response from the company after they get your money! We've been waiting 3 months to get information on their insurance to submit a claim. I suspect they don't have any. BUYER BEWARE, DON'T USE THESE GUYS!!

  2. Poor time management.

They gave us a time window that they would come to our house, but then they called several hours before that to say they were on the way. We had arranged our schedules to be free during the time they said, as both my wife and I work, so we were not free earlier. I told him that and he said, "well we're coming now or not coming until maybe next week." I told him that is frustrating, and he replied that they finished their other stuff earlier, so they were coming now. I called the manager and after 6 phone calls finally said they would come during the original time window, and give us a half hour notice so we would be ready. They just showed up without calling ahead of time. Fortunately, because of the earlier complications, my wife had left work just in case, so she was there otherwise we would not have known. Once they were there, they were nice, but horrible customer service.

  3. Moving Damages.

The actual movers were great. They were nice, trusting and hard workers. So in no way do I want to discredit the 3 men that helped with our move. However they were not given a dolly with their truck, which made the move harder and take longer than it should have, which cost us more money. But the part I am beyond upset about is that damage was done to our home. I don't mean just a little scratch. It was on at least four different walls, and in some parts through the sheet rock and they weren't just little and small. I mean one wall has 9 scratches, dents, some as long as 12". Destroyed the corners on two walls/ railing almost 2 feet long. And our hard wood floors. In 5 different parts of the house. Ranging from 4" to 12" long. Some being deep enough you can put your finger in it. I contacted the company immediately the day of the move. I was told to send pictures of the damages in which I did. Took over two weeks and me getting upset to find out what was going to be done about the damages. Finally got an email back saying they understood my frustrations and would refund me $50.00 towards the damages. $50??!?? I mean I am not a rocket scientist but there is alot more damage than $50.00. I was told that they pay $5.00 per linear foot per contracted amount. It's going to cost hundreds even thousands to fix it. Out of my pocket. All I wanted was it to be fixed. Wasn't asking for money back. Just wanted them to guarantee their work and fix the damages that were done. To have it in the same condition it was in before they got there. I know other moving companies would guarantee their work and any damages done would be fixed at no extra charge to the customer and in a timely manner. That is good customer service. I understand things happen, accidents happen. But at least fix what you broke. If you are looking for a moving company take my word,FIND SOMEONE ELSE. With any move you should plan on things going wrong. But with this company be prepared to fix and pay for them out of your OWN pocket. Hundreds to thousands of dollars. Because the $50 they refund you won't get you that far. And them telling you unfortunately they can't offer you anything further and they provide the best service they can by giving above industry discounts. I don't want discounts and that is not best service if you can't fix what YOU damaged!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

  4. Awesome Move.

These guys are great, I have used then 3 times now and they always do a good job. I have hired other movers in the past and Movello is cheaper and does a better job. They have never damaged my items and always have been very customer service oriented. The movers work very hard and have a can do attitude. Expect all your furniture to be protected well with blankets and wrap.. I love this.

    I recommend Movello Moving Company!!
