Awful moving experience.
This company made me pay a significant amount extra on pick up despite being given a full inventory, no proof was ever given to me of weight tickets and I was not present at any weighing.
My contract included full insurance protection value of up to $42000 but this was not provided.
ALL of my large furniture items were damaged and now I am unable to make a claim because of their mistake.
It took them 25 days to deliver my items when I was quoted 7-14 days.
This company are deceitful con artists who are just out to make money with no care for the customers belongings.
I have tried to follow up with them but they will not pick up the phone or respond to my emails.
Please do not use them, they should be closed down!
Never ever go for this company.
Sh*tiest service ever, money grubbing and lying staff.
They are not a moving company as they claim. They are just brokers.
They say they are Home Advisor top rated company- LIE Again. You can google and see they are not.
Next thing, they will give a good quote to hook you up.
As soon as they get your booking, it's all downhill from there.
They asked me at the time of booking payment about my floor and charged me extra for it.
They will come whenever they feel like to pick your stuff. Not Punctual at all.
They will come with a rented truck(This is not done by moving company).This is because they are broker company.
They truck guy and movers (mostly middle east guys) are highly unprofessional and will demand you cash. They treat your stuff as sh*t and handle it with no care. Most of your fragile stuff would be gone. They would ride dolly with your stuff downstairs, bouncing all the way down.
This is the beginning. Once they have your stuff. It's up to them when would they deliver.
If you call them, the person you called you at the time of your booking, s/he is not aware of your stuff(again a sign of broker company).
They would just keep telling you will get your stuff soon( in 2 days). These can extend up to a month. At this point other than the contracted truck driver, no one knows where your stuff is.
You keep calling then and they will keep telling you somebody will call you when your stuff is going to be loaded on a truck for interstate transport.
Next part comes is when they want to over charge you. They will find all means to take extra money from you. In some case it at the time of pickup. In my case, it was at the time of delivery. They would suddenly call me one fine day and tell me my stuff is ready for delivery.
And I have to pay $350 extra for shuttle service.Ready for this if you are moving to a city. Nowhere they will tell you about this stuff at the time of booking.
I was told I would be getting a call when it's going to be loaded and 24hr before when it's going to be delivered. I called the company about this and they will blame you for everything. They have no sense of how to talk. There would be a mannerless lady screaming at you for their fault(sh*ttest staff ever). They will lie and try to manipulate you.
They would threaten you for more money if you are not going to respond quickly.
I ask truck driver to meet me somewhere close by but he said I need to pick it up from him or do shuttle service.
And even with that, I need to pick up it before 6 as he is going to leave for somewhere else.
I wanted my stuff so I took a day off from my office, hired a truck ($100 extra) and went to pick up my stuff. They Demand money before keeping my stuff in my truck. At this point, it's more of extortion then taking our stuff back.
I would say stay out of this company. Better go with some high quote but good company cause, in the end, you are going to pay more than what that good company would have charge plus stress.

CAUTION! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVING!
I am writing this even before I fill out my claim form so that hopefully I can save someone's stress
They did not meet their delivery dates, do not pick up the phone for the whole agreed delivery date. Awful service until delivery (no information at all..)
But more importantly, I did not sign for the full replacement value insurance, and upon delivery one my moving boxes was missing (not surprisingly, the one having the most valuable items..). All the other boxes were partially open or just open..So it's not surprising to think they "lost" it on purpose. In the end, they just need to pay you $0.60 per pound per article..
They also forced me to pay $250 more because they said their truch could not access my apartment complex (they told me this even before asking me my address..). [EDIT].It's the first time I come across a business like this. They make the money out of this.
SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT POTENTIAL BUYERS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GETTING INTO..

Friendly and professional movers moved my husband and I from San Antonio to Florida.
We opted for the full pack, which basically meant we sat back and relaxed while they did all of the packing, it included all of the boxes and everything.
Definitely recommend!

Our experience with Movers Choice went very smoothly. We were kept informed every step of the way , Our representative Justin was professional and concerned that we were pleased with move. Both moving crews we're very professional. Bottom line we were very please with our move from Oklahoma to Vrigina.

My wife and I moved from Louisiana to Colorado, I don't usually leave reviews, but after the horror of our last long distance move, I felt like I needed to post something positive. Already feeling like a veteran, I knew what to look out for. Our last move was brokered out to some random driver, who tried to jack our price up on the day of our move, and then another driver refused to deliver it until we paid even more money on delivery. Total bs.
I did not have the same experience with movers choice. From the driver to the crew, and the salesman everything was what we agreed upon. Moving isn't a glamorous job, but this crew was completely professional, and overall my wife and I are pleased. I wish nothing but the best to this company and hope they continue to grow.

If you ended up like me, getting bombarded with hundreds of calls after looking up rental truck prices, hopefully this clears the air a little bit. We got news of a possible move back in September 2016 from my job and started to shop around for the best solution. A few clicks later and you'd think my phone was a radio show giving away free concert tickets. Long story short, we ended up choosing Mover's Choice simply because they were the only company willing to come out and do an on-site estimate when we needed it, and they were A rated and accredited with the BBB. Move day came quickly, but we were ready. By the time the crew showed up, they only had to break down our beds, wrap everything, and load it. We ended up using a few more rolls of tape than initially planned for, but we had a feeling we underestimated. Communication from pick up to delivery was concise and transparent, they let us know what was happening every step of the way. Delivery took place about a week after we were picked up. They had us unloaded and set up in our new house in just a few hours. We got the guys pizza for lunch but they hardly even sat down to eat it. Very professional and would definitely use again, although I hope we don't have too!
