  1. Scam, damaged and destroyed property

    My wife and I were searching for a moving company to move our belongings from Gilbert Arizona to Plymouth Minnesota. We found Mover Van Lines (Respect LLC) and decided to proceed with them as our moving company. The company showed up on 11/29/2021, packed up our belongings and estimated one to two weeks for our belongings to be delivered to our new address in Minnesota. After a week I touched base with Amanda Flores, a representative from Mover Van lines to check on our estimated delivery date. After some back and forth via email, her summarized response was “your stuff will get there when it gets there”. This was our first major red flag. Our belongings were finally delivered to our new home on 1/4/2022 If this we the only issue we would have already expected partial reimbursement for the far overdue delivery time. As the movers were unloading our belongings, it was apparent that most of our items had been partially or completely destroyed. Thousands of dollars’ worth of damages. In addition, some of our valuable items had been stolen. We essentially paid $7116.43 for our belongings to be destroyed and stolen. I have tried to contact Mover Van Lines via phone numerous times with no success. Their phone rings with no answer every time. I have been in contact with Amanda Flores, which is likely a false identity, to collect back damages from the move.

    I would recommend to anyone else that has had a similar experience to also make reports to the above agencies so we can put a stop to this scam and their shady business practices.

    Most of these reviews look fraudulent. This company purchases fake positive reviews. Don't trust.

  2. Worst move ever!

    I went through a broker (amazing staff) and Mover's Van Lines came in and packed and moved my stuff. The movers were very polite, yet they did not mark what was in each box. They are overworked and underpaid, which explains a lot! The movers assured me I was under my sq ft on the truck the day of pick up, but Ben told me I went over. I was told to pay more. Rubbish! The guys who delivered my stuff put the boxes wherever and the boxes were smashes and they put my furniture together incorrectly so I HAVE to take everything apart and put it back together. My home was built in 1914 and they had total disregard for the beauty of this place. I told them repeatedly no dollies on the stairs. I had no furniture, e.g. washer/dryer, sofa, loveseat, etc. to move, yet I was charged $6,275 from TN to NC for 744 sq ft. How is that possible when the movers in TN told me I was under? The movers said my stuff would remain on the same truck but I have a feeling I was re-quoted based on moving from one truck to another and horrible truck packaging. I DO NOT recommend them. I went through a broker and if the broker says they use this company, find another moving company fast. Ben will overcharge you however he can.

  3. Worst Experience Ever

    If I could give a rating of less than 1 I would do it. This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had and I’ve moved across country multiple times. Main issues:

    1) Their estimate of how much I had was based on two telephone conversations I had with the sales rep. No video call or rep coming to the house. They arrived with a truck that was too small to accommodate all of my goods. I had to leave behind over $2000 in goods. (They would have come back for them the next day for an additional $3000!)

    2) I made my deposit with a credit card. When a QC person called to confirm pick up, I was told I needed a certified check or cash to pay the next installment. After discussion, she told me I could pay with a personal check. Upon delivery, they demanded a money order or cashier’s check. No credit card or personal checks. So three separate forms of payment.

    3) They picked up on July 9 in North Carolina with a requested delivery of July 22. I called them on July 20 to confirm delivery. They were unable to give me a delivery date. In fact, no one was sure exactly where my goods were, maybe Atlanta or Dallas. The contract has delivery of 7-30 days after the first available date. I had the mistaken belief they would have some plan or timeframe. There was no plan. Multiple calls almost always ended with “I’ll call you back” which never happened. Apparently they have caller ID because my calls started going to voice mail. I left messages but no one returned calls.

    4) My goods were finally delivered with multiple items damaged. Boxes marked ‘Fragile’ were bent and crushed. Obviously they had boxes loaded on top of them. A piece of my bed is missing. It will take me a few days to determine what has been damaged. Overall, it looks like when they moved my goods from the small truck to an 18 wheeler, they just shoved the boxes into the truck without regard to keeping the goods undamaged.

    In summary, I spent $700 in a half month’s rent on an empty house and over $2,000 in a hotel bill. I left $2000 of my belongings in North Carolina. I was in limbo with no idea whatsoever when I could expect delivery. There was no effort to communicate with me. And finally, my goods were not delivered in good condition. Not what I expected when I paid over $13,000 to move across country.

  4. Move From Newnan GA To Lamoni IA

    The company kept changing the methods of payments they would accept. There contract mentioned credit cards but when I tried to pay using one they had to get approval. The worse part was day of delivery. None of my items were assembled as the contract stated. Basically the guys brought my stuff in the house set them down and left.

  5. This is my second time having used Pricing Van Lines

    This is my second time having used Pricing Van Lines for a move to another state. Their superb service reminded me of why it was that I chose them the first time. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and had expert advice on how to make this move as easy as before. I set everything up to be picked up two weeks later. The moving workers were on time and as friendly as I remembered them last. The way these guys handled my furniture and other big items showed us how professional they were. It seems I had to speak to customer service less this time around as all things were set up the first few times we spoke and Pricing Van Lines proceeded to stick to the schedule. This was another good move for me and all thanks to the work of the reps this company has and their level of quality.

  6. They are safe movers and reliable to deal with.

    "Pricing Van Lines" is the best company for moving stuffs safely from my experience. The movers are well skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Even their professionalism left me pleased. My experience with this moving company is terrific. I hired them a couple of times, and every time they did their best. They never damaged my stuffs which are exceptional. They are safe movers and reliable to deal with.

    Pricing Van Lines provided an exceptional service, quotes were received promptly and the booking and confirmation process was done very easily by e-mail. They professionally finished the packing on the previous day and next morning the van and moving crews arrived on time and were extremely helpful. Their estimate of the work and time required were very accurate and the crews were quite happy to work as long as it took to get the whole job done. They also dismantled and loaded the larger items that could not be moved in one piece. I appreciate their service and it ended up with a smile.

  8. Rates and Pick up Experience.

    Susan on the phone has been absolutely amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and great customer service. She told me exactly what I needed to

    Prep. The three men that came to pick up where super cautious with my furniture, wrapping, protecting the walls, and where prepared with all the materials needed. They were extremely curtious and efficient. They did a great job on pick up! I will update review once my items are delivered at the new location!

  9. Worst exerpience and threatened.

    From the beginning, we could not get any communication on the moving process. Susan (secretary) and Jeremy (owner) either ignored our calls or verbally threatened us several times. Our items were split up into two shipments and put in a warehouse in between without any communication to us. When the first shipment arrived, they demanded $1500 cash or else they would charge us waiting times for not having it available that moment. We were given no receipt for that cash payment. Second shipment arrived five days later with our 75 inch tv broken and a family heirloom painting ripped (not to mention multiple glass items broken). Every day we called and were either ignored or received hostile responses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!

  10. On time delivery and nice movers.

    They delivered our stuff on our move in date. We were very happy! The movers are very nice and try to place the furniture and boxes in the designated rooms. We had a couple of broken items but they were not anything major. Overall I am very happy with their services. I will be moving again next year and they will be the first company I contact.

  11. Worst Ever Mover.

    I would give this company a negative number if I could. We moved from North Carolina to Texas. The estimate provided was inaccurate, low of course. The drivers were late and could not be contacted by the Dispatcher. This was our 3rd long distance move. We stored our household items with the Mover for several months. Setting up the return of our household goods was a nightmare. Office was closed for an entire week for a holiday in September without any information or message on their phone system. When we finally received our household items, there was damage on multiple pieces of furniture. furniture missing, and 41 missing boxes. One of the most outragious issues here is the fact we notified the mover we had received someone elses property, and over a year later, we still have the property. the Mover has never made an effort to return the item to its rightful owner, with a BLUESTICKER and our stickers were WHITE and YELLOW.

    Their offer of $70.00 was an insult. We lost family photos and many valuable items. I am sure our missing boxes are in someone's garage. If you like your belongings, and would like to have your belongings delivered to your new residence, do not use this Mover.

    I must say the crew was very professional , arrived on time packed the entire house in less the 4 hours , loaded in less then 2 hours , we talking 4 bedroom house . pretty impressive, delivery prompt and damage free.

    All we wanted was our furniture picked up in time and delivered safely when we were told to expect it. Nothing unreasonable at all happened and they gave us a great price deal and made us feel confident while the furniture was in transit. We realize now moving us not as easy as it sounds so we give them the whole moving credit.

    We had a wonderful experience with the crew of Movers Van Lines. They really all took lots of the stress out from our moving. The men were very careful and thorough with all of our packing and moving experts in their field, also very trustworthy. As a Banker agent, I will be recommending the company to my clients and my colleague clients.

  15. Worst customer service stay away from them.

    Worst moving company beware of them and never book your move with them. they will give you a lowest possible price on the quote just to earn your business. once booked they don't care about customer and they end up charging more and more. I am not happy with the service. Movers were very rude.

    * As per the original estimate (as per inventory details provided) it was measured 500 cuft. even-tough there are items which were not picked up as per the movers my actual measurement was 600 cuft. So basically there was a overage of 100 cuft which I don't trust because I had originally included washer and dryer and other stuff which I did not brings. Also my furniture are not very big. they are small sized furniture. So I don't trust even after removing items from original inventory how can there be an overage.

    * At the time of booking I was told that I can cover my mattresses into any inexpensive plastic cover. Instead of covering with plastic cover we covered our mattresses with a old fitted sheet. They refused to take it without it being boxed and told me they can box it with a fee. I agreed to pay for the cost of putting it into a box but ultimately they did not box it but covered with the move in blanket and charged me $140. At time of the delivery the delivery man charged me $75 extra for the long carry even though I am on first floor and I am not very far from the parking. He refuse to deliver until I paid him $75 extra. I had no option but to pay at that time. Also I sent multiple emails to claim missing/damaged item but they don't respond to the emails.
