Still haven’t received my stuff since 11/2021
I was in a bind after the first moving company I hired didn’t show up so Moving Direct Van Lines came in clutch with a pick up company. That was about the only positive thing though, because after being quoted $4,700 total based on the items I named over the phone, I was charged more than $2,000 more at pick up by the actual moving company when they came to pick up my stuff. I have been calling EVERY WEEK asking for an update and still have not received one. The answer I keep receiving is “The moving company doesn’t have a driver yet.” The week of Christmas (4 weeks since pick up) I was told that the drivers were going to be staying home for the holidays (which I understand completely), however, this is why I was hoping that my stuff would be delivered before then so that we wouldn’t run into this issue. Because what comes after Christmas? New Years. And at this point God knows when I’ll be receiving my stuff! I wasn’t able to cook Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years meal for my family and we couldn’t even sleep on our own beds for the holidays. I am extremely disappointed and truly heartbroken.
P.S. Only being able to charge $30/day for every day late after 30 days is a rip off. I was charged $2,000 more at pick up before they even loaded my stuff yet I have to wait a minimum of 30 days before I can start charging late fees? I’ve moved three times and this was the WORST moving experience I have ever had in my life. We just want our stuff :(
Amazing Mover!
The guys were all friendly and efficient. They were professional and lovely to work with when they packed and unpacked the truck. Nothing was broken or even scratched. This was the best move experience I have ever had, and I have moved my home and my business on several occasions through the years. I was delighted and will proudly recommend this company.
Long Distance Move
The movers showed up at 5pm with a 26 foot truck that was almost half full. My original contract was for $4800.00. Before they ever started packing, I was forced to sign a new contract for $12,000.00. Since I was on a time crunch, I signed but wrote on the contract that I disagreed with the new price, charging me for 1700 cubic feet. A 26 foot truck is 1700 cubic feet. I have already paid over $7000.00, and they still want another $7000.00. There is barely enough household items to fill a 2 bedroomed apartment. Trying to speak with anyone in Customer Service, is futile. Just today 'Lia', was rude and unprofessional, talking over me, threatening, and hung up on me. Stay away from this company.

We had to move quickly across state lines, and these guys were terrific. Multiple communications beforehand to make sure we were ready, very straightforward pricing. Showed up on time, loaded up the entire house in hours, including packing some items we forgot to. Everything was delivered the next day, as promised, on time, in perfect condition. Terrific employees, excellent service. Highly recommend.
Great Move!
Finally, the day to shift to TX came and I have to leave tonight only. I was really stressed as I didn’t get leave from my office to pack my belongings. I chose Moving Direct Van. This company has an awesome speed to handle the entire thing in shortest possible time. The packing, labeling, loading and finally unloading, entire work in a planned and arranged way and my delicate glass items handled very nicely. Good one, keep serving the best.
Hardworking!
On moving day, Keeling sent out 3 of his best guys who were not only punctual but called 25 minutes before announcing their intended arrival time. They were hardworking, efficient, professional, and indeed took moving and turned it into an art form! It was amazing watching them work, wrapping and protecting our furniture with passion and relentless vigor! I highly recommend Moving Direct Van Lines and will use them again in the future.
Terrible Experience
I have had a terrible experience and was told multiple times that they would figure out compensation. My items were picked up late, delivered late, not put back together at the new house and many not even unwrapped. I called repeatedly and they just kept having me tell my story to another person who always said they'd figure out compensation. I spoke to Jodie several times and she was one of the many people who told me they would speak to upper management to get this resolved.
Original Quote - $8000 Charged an additional $4000 at pick up because I told them I needed beds moved but didn't specify that the beds would have a mattress and things like that. It was a small two bedroom apartment, but I wanted premium service so I was willing to pay the $8000.
I want compensation for all the items not put back together including all my outdoor furniture, couch, etc. Mattress was left in the wrapping paper on the living room floor. The broken items, I will go through insurance. They also left indoor furniture on the patio which of course got weather ruined and my outdoor furniture all broken wrapped or left in the boxes. Hopefully they will contact me for compensation. I hate having to leave a review like this. I requested $3500 back. I also want half of the extra $4000 back because many of the items they charged me extra for arrived broken or not put together.
Amazing Mover!
Not only are these guys the best deal out there with their all-inclusive flat hourly rate, but they were hardworking and hyper-efficient as well. Four men moved our one-bedroom in precisely the estimated 4 hours, including disassembling and reassembling a queen bed and glass coffee table. We received a call 15 minutes before the start of the scheduled time to tell us they were on their way. They arrived precisely on time and were extremely courteous and careful with all our items. We were delighted to tip them well, and they deserved every extra penny.

Jack and his crew came on time. I was moving some larger pieces of furniture. They were very professional, wrapping not just all the breakables but also my furniture. They were fast, hardworking and perfect. They made suggestions that were very helpful and kept all the pieces of furniture from being damaged. I will recommend them to anyone for local NH Area move any time. Jack, you and your team rock! Keep up the excellent customer service.

Simply stated, if you ought to move, Use Richard! I'm SO glad I chose him for my move across town. He was punctual, thorough, and super-efficient! I was shocked at his quote because it's so much lower than his competitors, but I'm pretty sure he did a better job than the competitors can do at twice the price. No hidden cost. You get what he quotes! Thank you so much!

Lindgren and his team finished up our move, and it couldn't be a more seamless experience. They texted me 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive, and once they did, they went straight to work. They were careful and efficient, which is precisely what you want from a moving company. I refer them to anyone looking to transform a stressful experience into a simple affair.

The crew was there on time; they were professional and courteous and obviously knew what they were doing. The 3-man team showed up on time and got to work right away. They were hustling the whole time. They worked so fast; their final price was under the original estimate. I highly recommend them!
Hidden fees, bad customer service, dishonest
I was sent to moving direct through a referral website. They rushed me through the sign up process, didn't explain the fact that they have over $1000 in additional fees that have to be paid on the day of the move and again on the day of delivery. I didn't even know about the fees until days later when I finally got the terms of the contract. They forged information on the electronic check that was not what had been agreed to, but they made sure they got their money for zero service provided. When I attempted to talk to someone about the additional fees and later to cancel there was no one available. Very dishonest company that treats you like a used car sales man.
