  1. Horrible Moving Experience!

    IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS DELIVERED UNDAMAGED, WRAPPED PROPERLY, NOT DIRTY, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. The movers arrived 1.5 hours late and didn't finish packing my house until 1:00 am in the morning! They then present me with a bill of $14,800, an increase of $6,500 from the estimate I was given on the phone before the movers arrived because I had more boxes than what I told them over the phone. They then told me they could not take my wine collection, something NEVER explained to me when I placed my order with their sales dept. I then find out that they will not accept credit cards or checks for the final payment, only cash! I then tried to contact customer service NUMEROUS times -they do not return phone calls whatsoever, other than Amber in Accounting who was very friendly and helpful. My university agreed to pay the balance for me as part of my move. I was told by this co. that once they received final payment, I would get my items. They then would not release my items to me until check cleared bank, almost a week later. I called customer service about this numerous times and no response. I emailed several times and no response. When I finally received my items, there was several broken, damaged items, as well as my couch and chairs with black soot stains on them as well as a footprint on both pieces. I then called Accounting to state I need to file a claim. This was two weeks ago, and I am still waiting for someone to contact me to complete a claim for the broken/damaged items. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TREATMENT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I have use other national carriers and their service was excellent. I felt robbed, mistreated, and I don't think this company cares whatsoever about you or you items! Urge you to stay away from.
