  1. Worst possible movers.

These movers were horrible!! Items were packed very poorly, we had damage to at least 10 items. They spoke very little English and did not bring boxes, tape, bubble wrap , or any other packing supplies. These movers had to go to Home Depot to buy packing supplies!! The job was supposed to take a day and a half and ended up taking 3 days.
The worst part of the whole move was that we had 3 items stolen, that we know of! My husbands gold watch, a Tiffany piece of glass, and my Chanel 5 perfume. There is nothing we can really do because the period of time has passed, it took us a long time to unpack all of our boxes, but when they were all unpacked these items were missing, and I know what boxes they were in.
Please do not trust these movers to take care of your possessions!!

  2. Damage, poor service, late, very expensive for the lack of serice.

Damage: 100 items, 2 days late picking up, 1 day late delivering. Agreed to a $500 refund before delivery for lack of professionalism at loading but I have yet to see the check though I was promised it was sent multiple times but the company dispatcher. The dispatcher initially acknowledged my damage claim that was submitted with their required 30 days (that by the way I could only submit via text message) and promised a response within 2 weeks. Its over 4 weeks and I have yet to receive any additional response to calls or texts. Moving team was less than professional constantly complaining about being tired and angry about customers being lied to by their company and dispatcher who they stated is also their owner. I was overcharged for box packing. The dispatcher initially overcharged in my final invoice which was only corrected after I called him on it. They only accepted payment via cashiers check or money order. About the only thing that went well for the move was my on time payments for the poor service provided. I am seriously disappointed in the service provided and complete lack of professionalism and follow up by the entire Nation Star team. I'd choose a 0 star rating if this would let me.
To top everything off the estimated, final cost was double the initial quote. Granted, the quote was performed by a broker, so not Nation Star's fault, but total cost of the move was completely out of line for the service provided.

  3. Terrible.

The guys that showed up barely spoke any English and the first thing they said as I showed them around was that there was so much stuff. They did not bring adequate tools to disassemble furniture, continually took smoke break and at one point took a half hour break at when it was already ten at night after getting there late and could hear thunder from the coming storm but just sat there till it started raining so they could take a longer break, then didn't even finish loading that night. When they called with the final weight it was 5 thousand pounds over the estimate and want an extra 2700 dollars over the last half of what we owe. Movers were careless when removing boxes and furniture from house, dinging and scuffing walls all over the place. When I spoke to their dispatch manager when he called with the final weight j told him this was all unacceptable and he said the best he could do was take a hundred dollars off. Not good enough.

  4. Moving furniture.

The first thing out of the movers mouth was where's my tip!
Careless on how loading furniture on the truck not very professional. Stacked boxes any direction they felt like most stuff is loaded with the pressure being on top they didn't care about that they just threw it in the truck and stacked it all up.
Unloading was the same way they just put stuff into storage shed any direction stack chairs on top of boxes and boxes on top of chairs and just not very organized or very professional.
Before unloading they had to have all their money up front and an additional $2,500 more than what was estimated which was unbelievable.
Overall a very disappointing situation wouldn't never ever ever recommend these people to move anybody even a dog house.
Will be reporting these guys to the Better Business Bureau and calling a TV station to warn other people about their terrible services.
