  1. Terrible moving experience and.

    This was a terrible experience with Nationwide movers USA. I will never come back to them for any moving and would alert anyone who are considering moving company to stay away from them if you are not looking for troubles.
    When I first contacted them for the move, they promised that they will satisfy whatever the customer asks. They were given a delivery date and asked when they needed to pick up to ensure on time delivery. They were paid in full in advance. They were not only late for pick up, but also asked for another $450 which is 50% of orginal agreed price. The drive told me that he was specifically instructed to come late as the sales person knew that my family were going out of town for vacation the next day, and that I could not go anywhere else for the moving. The additional amount was not paid at pick up but the payment was approved upon delivery. Since then I have had no luck in getting an answer as to when the deliery would take place. After a month of waiting, I have filed a case with BBB and reported to local police department. After the police contacted them and several frustrating phone conversations (in one of which I was told this is the way they do business and make moneys), the items were delivered another month later. A cloth wardrobe and a vacuum were missing at the time of delivery. And to make it even worse, when I opened the boxes after the driver left, my boxes were opened and items were messed up. Three expensive handbags were missing (one Dooney & Bourke and 2 Michael Kors). I tried to contact them and again no luck to reach them.

  2. They didn't show up or call.

    I have a reservation to move my items out of a storage unit today and I have been speaking with the company for days now. Finally today is here and I am back to scratch because I have not heard from them. Last week I spoke with a rude dispatcher who asked me to find another company if I didn't like his tone of voice, which was very distasteful. Over the weekend, the manager (Mike) had promised to email me paperwork that never came through. I called him again to ask if we were on schedule and about the paperwork and that was in vain.  So I suppose I should be thankful that my items are safe in storage and that I did not go with a company that cannot be trusted from the very beginning.  I di have to admit that Dee, the sales lady was exceptionally kind and I guess she wouldn't be aware of what is going on out in the field while she is behind her computer desk. .
