  1. Worst Experience

If you are reading this all the negatives are true. They gave me a quote which was reasonable 3000 dollars to move everything from Louisiana to Virginia but when the actual movers came they gave me a whole different price AFTER they loaded up. I was also told I would have my stuff within a week. That was also a lie. Week after week of me calling it took a month for them to finally deliver my stuff and I was missing a lot of personal stuff and some of the stuff was broken. I will say this DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They lie about everything. I ended up paying 7000 dollars double for the move and I now have to fight with their insurance company for reimbursement. At this point getting a lawyer is better and let him fight this to get my money back.

  2. Oklahoma to Florida

I’ve made the move to OKC to Ft Lauderdale several times this was the first time I used a professional company and I can’t say enough about how glad I am. The quote I received from Chris at nationwide was about $300 less than some of the bigger moving companies but we’re all of bit as professional from start to finish. They did end up having to change the pick up date but they called me about 2 weeks prior to confirm that it would be ok. Once they arrived they were able to pack up all my stuff (2 br house) within a few hours. The company that they had contracted was lone star moving and I was able to get 30 days of storage for free which was perfect as I still had to get the house in florida painted and a few other remodels which is easier without furniture. My stuff arrived undamaged and the movers even helped arrange the furniture exactly where I wanted it in the house. I would highly recommend nationwide and lone star moving to any of my friends or family overall great experience.

  3. Easy, reliable moving company

Moved from Boca Raton to Boynton Beach, AND downsized. This company was able to move my things efficiently and reliably. Professional company. I plan on using them again for my next move and would recommend.

  4. Move from MD to FL

After reading the negative reviews I felt compelled to write my review. My experience with Nationwide Relocation could not have gone any better. They were very professional, friendly and kept me up on everything that was going on from start to finish. I would highly recommend their services!

  5. Amazing Company! I will never use someone else

This was honestly the best move I've had. I hear the story's of movers all the time and was nervous about this I'm not made of money! They came out did an estimate and kept there word just got my stuff delivered and I will not use anyone else from now on.

  6. Total Trainwreck! Run far away from these clowns!

Nationwide lied multiple times regarding pick-up, fees, delivery, etc. They are now holding our entire household hostage at an undisclosed location. I'm a single mom with two children. I was very upfront from the beginning and voiced my concerns about their bad reviews. They assured me the move from NC to IA would go perfectly. I paid the $1250 deposit, the movers were to arrive the following Friday at 10AM and were to take all of our furniture pieces plus bring an additional 40 boxes that they would pack for us. 12 hours later two guys showed up at nearly 10PM. They told us packing wasn't included, they had no boxes, said we would have to pay triple and needed to pay right then in cash and that our belongs would be taken and put in storage in NJ for up to a month! They left without our things. I spoke with the owner of Nationwide as well as two of his employees. I had to screenshot texts they had sent to get them to follow through on what they had promised. They assured me they would fix the issue and get another mover to come. They also assured me that the move would take 3-5 days and we would have our things by the following weekend at the latest. They sent a new mover with 3 guys total. They were nice and professional and helpful. They had everything loaded but said they couldn't leave unless we paid them in full. They sat in my yard for about an hour and waited. I had to agree to pay Nationwide the remaining balance of $2600 plus another $500 extra in full right then or they wouldn't take our things. Our driver said he would arrive at our new home by Sunday. We received several messages about delays and then finally were told the moving truck broke in Ohio about 12 hours away from us, they even sent a picture of a broken Budget moving truck. That was Monday, it is now Thursday and they are telling me "maybe sunday". They refuse to tell me where my family's possessions are and have only said they are now in an undisclosed storage facility somewhere in Ohio and then reminded me that they legally have "30 days" to deliver. Please believe ALL the negative reviews on these guys. They are bad people who don't take accountability, will lie and avoid your phone calls and texts. My poor children are sitting in an empty house at the mercy of this horrible situation. It has been traumatic to say the least. They intentionally underquoted my house and even when I told them I had a GIANT castle with slide and an air hockey table they still only estimated enough cubic feet to fit a basic 3 bedroom apartment and conveniently did not include the extra 40 boxes in the written quote, fortunately I had it in writing from the owner in a text. We had to leave the castle and air hockey behind. I paid my deposit October 12, it is now October 29 and this is still unresolved. They con people for a living and enjoy hurting people and taking advantage of hard working single parents. Trust ALL of these reviews!

  7. Horrible Experience! Crooks!

This is a broker and will charge a lot of money to connect you with unprofessional movers. My experience was a nightmare. The moving company ended up closing down while they had my belongings. Even worse, no one called to inform me. Although both companies are to blame, Nationwide Relocation Group was responsible for connecting me with the moving company. This move was in February. After many months of tracking down my belongings and getting the law, and other professionals involved, I had to hire another company to move my property from Platinum Moving storage facility in California to Miami. Still, Nationwide has been unapologetic. They refused to reimburse me. I am currently disputing charges. When I finally connected with a new representative from Nationwide, (Jessica Panek), she was very apologetic at first. A few weeks later, she claimed to be the supervisor and told me that their charge of almost 900.00 was justified for their services. As a broker, nationwide advertised that their services would guarantee a connection with professionals I could trust with my belongings and that it would arrive at my new destination. Obviously, my statement above supports that Nationwide did not do what they were paid to do. Especially because, I had to find another moving company on my own. In the end, I ended up paying money to a company that failed to deliver the services promised. You are better off avoiding brokers. Especially, Nationwide Relocation Group.

  8. Terrible, do not use this company!

Firstly, most of the positive reviews appear to be fake accounts.

This is a broker, they don’t do anything other than book space on a truck. I was told by Levi they only use the best and most professional companies, that was a lie.

The moving company they booked barely has a footprint online. The few things I could find were scathing. They showed up a day and a half late. They initially refused to wear masks. Then I was told it would be 5-10 business days from my first available date before they could deliver our furniture. The total also went from $3,800, to $4,200 and concluded at a total of $5,700. Save yourself stress and time, book with a company that has more control over the process (not a broker), and will do a video or in home estimate. Im praying they don’t pull the same stunts they have with others for our delivery (broken/lost items, and long delays).

  9. High Value Movers!!

The value I received through this long distance move was fantastic. I was given a fair price from my relocation to Seattle from Texas. My project manager kept me informed about the status of my belongings and maintained professionalism throughout all correspondence. Considering I’ve heard countless horror stories about long distance moves, this one went exceedingly well! Boy, am I glad it did!

  10. Professional & Accountable.

I had the pleasure of working with this company because I moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix recently. They managed the move like true experts and had my best interest in mind when conducting the pick, up drop off and overall communication. Their commitment to a quality move is reassuring. My things just arrived today, on time.

  11. Did right by me.

This moving company was much more attentive and accommodating than I was anticipating. They answered all of my questions prior to the move, left nothing out, were transparent and maintained the same price point. Thank you again for everything you provided during this relocation from Dallas to Alpharetta. I have already recommended this service to all of my friends, family and associates.

  12. Best Long Distance Moving Experience.

This was the best long distance moving experience I’ve come across. It was my third time going through something like this, although the other two times I was indirectly involved since it was my parents transitioning from one state to another when this time it was my own family. Based on this experience, I noticed a lot of things Nationwide Relocation Group did better than the other moving companies I experienced.

They are professional and extremely knowledgeable about long distance moves and it shows in their demeanor and overall approach during the moving process. They keep you informed and understand the importance of maintaining an accurate pickup and drop off schedule. Highly, highly recommend them to anyone seeking a credible long distance moving company.

  13. Damaged goods, unprofessional, misrepresentation.

I moved a modest amount of household goods as well as my painting studio and paintings (I boxed). Some common bad things occurred - move went from $5000 to in the end $7700, scheduling was never smooth, no driver was ever within 17 hours of when I was told they would be there (often receiving a call the day of, once two hours from initial incorrect time), the $800 surprise shuttle charge came the day of (then postponed) delivery, furniture arrived without blankets and was damaged, someone else's items were mixed in with mine the first and second delivery, and the claims process was onerous.

I supplied photos and descriptions as requested for the insurer. But then was told to use a poorly designed online, pop-up ad filled site "movingclaims.net" to provide more info. After a few hours, again organizing documents, etc.. I realized the site made its money from the pop-up ads and made customers go through unnecessary hoops. At this point I opted to preserve my sanity and withdraw from the claims process so I could share my story and be done with it! Oh yeah - their Illinois based mover, "Platinum Moving and Storage" (in quotes because they stole the logo and name from a reputable mover in California - seriously!) would not proceed with a claim unless I agreed not to leave any reviews while the process was moving along. So, I am no longer in that process - where I may have received at most 60cents/pound (per conversation with Alex at "Platinum Moving") . A 15 pound antique table they broke and gouged is currently being repaired for $435. My upright Yamaha piano from the 60's has scratches, gouges, and crushed veneer. It was in the truck on a tilt with no blanket when delivered. The two antique chairs they moved are both gouged and a long vintage dresser was moved on its edge on the truck floor - and that edge is a mess, and the drawers no longer glide smoothly.

    But there is more!

When my belongings were loaded in Oregon, the guys they contracted did an awesome job. But then it all went into a kind of black hole where people handling my things simply didn't care. The Household Inventory sheets were never used. Not when moving in and out of storage. Not when moving in and out of trucks. My initial delivery was short (8) large items. Including a desk with file cabinet. Luckily - 2 weeks later when that far away Denver locker was emptied, my items were there along with some Kentucky bound stuff. When the second truck came I helped them figure out what was mine. They had no idea what was being delivered to me - only that some items were. So my large items were in the back - and the Kentucky-bound motorcycle, boxes, etc.. were mostly in the front. None of this person's items had inventory tags. We opened a few boxes to make sure they weren't mine.

Back to Illinois-based "Platinum Moving & Storage". When I was told Platinum Moving would be my mover from Nationwide Relocation Group, I Googled the name. They have great reviews! "Cool" I thought. And the Nationwide folk assured me (David?) that if things were damaged it was in their interest - and the movers - to make it right. That happy customers were essential to their business. That is the salesman talking..this is not how things shook out in the end. While Brandy was friendly and seemed concerned, she was unable to offer any real help and mostly didn't call back when promised.

It turns out "Platinum Moving & Storage" is using the real Platinum Moving & Storage name and logo without their permission! The logo is on my Bill of Lading paperwork & emails. I didn't learn this until I went to leave a Google review and saw the location discrepancy. I phoned the real Platinum Moving - lo and behold - they have been fielding calls from other unhappy moving customers similar stories. The USDOT numbers on my paperwork belong to a different mover in New Jersey. I have since filed formal complaints with BBB as well as a US government transportation site.

Nationwide Relocation claimed Platinum Moving was their preferred mover - so I know it is not a fluke. Also, many of these reviews mention Alex. I also spoke many times with Alex. I hope I never have to speak with him again. I don't believe he cares one bit about his customers - only their money. There was no sense of concern when my belongings were not delivered the first time. And no concern for the extensive damage to furniture clearly caused by inept shipping practices (no blankets?). No apology for never using the Household Inventory sheets. No apology for not checking my address for truck size allowances until the day of delivery.

Nationwide Relocation has all my photos of damaged goods, they know my full story. I believe they owe me the brokerage fee I paid them because their mover was/is duplicitous (in my best opinion). I had heard movers could be shady, but I genuinely thought by paying an established brokerage I would have professionalism and protection.

  14. Fast & Reliable Service.

The pickup and drop off times were coordinated perfectly with what was promised to us. Our belongings were transported successfully to our new residence in Tampa, Florida from Dallas, Texas. The project manager was easily accessible and willing to keep me updated regarding the fulfillment of the transportation process. This was a well orchestrated move!

  15. Lousy service.

They changed their pickup date the day before they were supposed to pick up which was not a big deal. The movers themselves were good but there were unexpected fees that I was surprised with. The delivery was supposed to take 21 days and I am now waiting for 45 days. I was told my furniture was shipped then a week later found out it had not been shipped. Then I was told it was 2 days away only to find out on the 2nd day it was going to take another 3 days. After the 3 days were up I was told there was a breakdown and it would be another 4 days. They do not return calls when they say they will and give you information that is not accurate. I would not recommend them at all.
