  1. WORST MOVERS EVER!!!

Short and straight to the point... this company "lost" my 50 in TV!!! The movers were not professional and basically threw my belongings into a truck, no labels, no listing, no review or follow ups. Bottom line, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! By reading other reviews, they have been "losing" and damaging the clients belongings for years!!! Don't know how these crooks stay in business... BEWARE!!!

  2. Worst experience of my life.

Worst experience. Lost boxes, broke so much, threw things down and didn't care about fragile things, delivered wrong boxes to wrong address like things told and marked for storage to house. Came a day early for a cross country move with no notice. Couldn't fit everything in the truck they brought. Boxes ruined, 5 hours late to delivery, movers fighting and one sulking in truck for an hour which made it take longer. Nothing positive to say so unprofessional and incompetent.

  3. Best moving experience so far.

Thank you to the movers who were actually 15 minutes early and worked fast. We were very impressed with the crew and how they were very professional, left no questions unanswered. They finished in the time span we requested being as we were in a hurry which wasn't an issue with this company! We will be using you guys for all of our future moves, thanks again Tally!

  4. Beware! Fraudulent moving company.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This company is a fraud. They are not licensed to currently operate. The movers stole one of our televisions and broke the leg off of one of our credenzas cracking the wood. It would be one thing to notify of us of the damage but instead they tried to glue the leg back on and taped it up with duck tape to try and hide the damage done. Cheap moving service but unfortunately you get what you pay for and it has not been worth the headache. They are not taking ownership for the stolen tv will only give us back $150 for the tv when it was worth over $400 . For the damage done to the credenza and several other pieces, they will only give us back $0.60 per pound. They say they carry insurance but they carry none. I will be following up with a lawyer and will be reporting this fraudulent company.

  5. Long Haul Move.

I have used Oasis twice once long haul from Baton Rouge, LA to Asheville, NC then short distance from storage unit in Asheville to my new home in Waynesville, NC. Very impressed, movers were fast, efficient in wrapping and moving furniture and furnishing from my home in BR, to storage unit in Asheville, to Waynesville, very professional and polite. I highly recommend, they go above and beyond.

  6. Moving company.

By far the WORST COMPANY!! I literally got into an arguement with company and the CUSTOMER service manager Cathy hung up on me as well as asking if I needed “milk on my cereal” as if I was crying because I wanted to know where my stuff was.

  7. Buyer Beware.

W is with the people they send out. I was informed that they use 3rd party contractors which means to me they are not vetted. When I used them before I gave them benefit of the doubt because their ratings went from very low to very high. I warn you because now it's too late to find someone else. I would recommend passing on this company especially if they give you a late evening arrival time.

  8. Great Service!

I have used Oasis three times and the movers are very fast and efficient. They are also very flexible and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied. Love this company.

  9. Happy Customer.

We were referred to Oasis from a friend and were happy with the service. They were very professional and clean cute movers. They were very careful with the items they were moving and polite the whole time. They worked hard the whole time. We were very thankful of how professional they were so we tipped them well. We will be using them again and will refer them out.

  10. Horrible Experience.

Everything about this company is terrible. They dropped our furniture off about 2 weeks late, which means we were paying for a hotel room those days we were out. Then when the furniture was finally delivered it was completely beat up or missing completely. We still haven't located all of our furniture with them. They are thieves and I would have done the whole thing myself if I knew what a nightmare this was going to be.

  11. Horrible Move.

I have moved a few times and this was truly the worst experience I have ever had.  The owner, Tally, came to my house and surveyed all of my belongings.  He then sent me a “binding estimate” it was titled.  Flat fee, no hidden fees.  He told me he could have the household moved in three days, which I thought was unrealistic but he promised he could do it.  He said he would use TV boxes, mattress bags and everything would be packed professionally and he would supply all the boxes and packing material.  I got three other estimates and his was the best so I chose to go with it.  Disaster!  A family shows up and the first thing that happens is I experience a diatribe of evangelizing from the mother who wants to “save” me.  After the truck is loaded and I have paid over half of the “fixed price” the mother starts working me saying my three bedroom house was only supposed to be a one BR apt.  She says it will cost $400 more because they weren’t supposed to pack anything but the kitchen.  She proceeds to inform me that the owner is non-Christian and he lies all the time and that is the reason for the cost increases Really!  Then they say the truck won’t reach its destination for a week because they have to pack another person’s belongings in same truck headed to Colorado.  Long story shortened:  Truck came days late, cost increased over $1000 dollars, half of the boxes were crushed and most of my furniture is severely damaged.  Good Luck!  .

  12. Local move in Dallas did not end well.

To start off, the gentleman that moved us were both very polite and easy to work with. Sadly, that was the best part of the move. The first problem occurred when they ran out of room in their trailer and as a result could not complete the move. Rather than pay them to drive back later in the evening at my expense, I opted to hire someone else the next day.The next issue was the wall and baseboard damage. I suppose things happen and perfection is a bit much to expect but we have quite a few places that require not only paint but drywall repair. I have used movers before and cannot remember ANY damage so I have to give a big thumbs down here. In addition there were a couple of gouges on a sofa as well as numerous scratches on wood furniture I have had to touch up since.I would have been fine with all that as I'm a pretty easy going guy, but the final straw was my 70" TV. I powered it on 5 days after the move only to see my screen is shattered. I was disappointed especially since I just bought is 60 days ago but wasn't too worried as they advertise they are "bonded and insured" ! This is great I thought, but alas it was not. It seems they, and others like them prey on the ignorance of those of use that do not work in the moving business. When I called the gentleman was extremely unpleasant when I told him I wanted to file a claim for my TV which us unrepairable. His almost immediately informed me "you do know you only get .60 a lb. for the damage". Well that was certainly quality customer service! I felt so much better knowing I would get a whole $50-$60 for the TV I paid almost $1,500 for 60 days ago. Clearly I was less than pleased at the news and did say as much to which he told me I knew all this which really doesn't help either. In the end, I now know more about moving than I ever wanted to. The least of which is to avoid this business at all costs. The manager was crystal clear that he was not required nor was he interested in discussing the matter. I was welcomed to submit my claim for less than $60 that would take up to 90 days to receive. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any business I have ever dealt with.

  13. Nightmare Move!

Very disappointed with Oasis moving!  My time window was between 2-4pm.  A representative from Oasis called me at 2:04pm saying they would be a little bit late.  I called back at 5pm and asked how much longer it would be and the driver calls me back saying it probably won't be until 6pm or 7pm.  After numerous phone calls, the movers FINALLY arrived at 9pm!  They did not finish unloading all my stuff until midnight!  I can understand an hour or even two to run late, but not showing up until 9pm is beyond unacceptable!  I took a day off work with NO PAY to do this move!

  14. Great Move!

Oasis was up front and disclosed all fees ahead of time.  Movers took great care of all furniture and fragile items.  Showed up on time, and were done ahead of schedule.  I would strongly recommend for anyone moving in the area.  My move manager was quick to respond to all the questions I had, coordinating times, and confirming move time/date!  So thankful I was referred!

  15. Don't use Oasis Moving.

I had Oasis Moving out of Dallas to move my stuff.  I cannot believe the experience I had.  From the damage to the late arrival, the owner, Tally, has serious difficulty telling the truth.  They overcharged me on delivery, and damaged some of my household goods.  What annoys me is they took an expensive set of golf clubs, a screw gun and even took a box of Christmas ornaments.  Who does that?  The owner Tally is no help and is as crooked as they come.  Don't use this company.  I'm filing with the Federal Trade Commission as this is unacceptable.  The Better Business Bureau has 27 complaints against them and rates them at an "F". .
