Threatened to sue me.
I hired One Price moving to move items from my 1 bed room apartment. The owner, Jeff Harker, quoted me $290.00 for a flat rate including the moving of 25 boxes, bins, or bags. I had additional boxes and bags (60) and for each additional 25 it's 25 dollars and so on. The company showed up with too few boxes and packing materials. I provided 15 boxes of my own and their packing crew used my blankets as padding during packing. Jeff and the movers moved all of my items to his truck and then told me my cost for moving was $760.00 as he was running my card. A charge then showed up for $800.00. No cost was discussed for packing or materials until everything was done and Jeff charged $400.00 in just material cost. I have a one bedroom apartment. I was deceived by his pricing and even his contract does not discuss any costs for packing and material cost. I requested Jeff review my invoice for costs and damages to my property and he did nothing. I advised him I would be disputing the payment and contacting the better business bureau and he replied " Ok, thank you. I will sue for 2.5 times the amount of the contract due to breach of contract. One price moving horror.
These people advertise on craigslist & may change their name. They do not care about you as a customer, or your things. Owner is a rude non caring person to begin with & I should have known better. I personally have never been treated so rudely.
