These people are the masters of bait and switch, they have no regard for their customers or their belongings. The reviews that are positive appear to be written by the same person. They will hold your belongings hostage, show up with 1 person to unload, leave someone else belongings which they have never made arrangements to deliver to the rightful owner. $3000.00 more than quoted
Learn from my mistake and run, they are here from Palestine or Jordan only to prey on and live off of Americans.
Worst move of my life!
I recently moved from Houston, Texas to Groveland, California on January 3, 2018. I must say it was the worst experience I have ever had. I chose this company because it advertises family own and operated out of Texas. I was quoted $8700 when I completed an inventory list of my furniture. I was told if it changed, I was trying to sell some of my furniture, the price would only go down if I deleted anything. Well I did sell my king size bed, two china cabinets, my glass patio table with 4 chairs, my kitchen table and 4 chairs and some other items. When the company came out, I told Daniel about this and he just strugged his shoulders and said I had too many boxes. No one ever had even mentioned the boxes. Which I packed completely by myself. He told me, after loading half of my stuff, that I was going to have to pay more or half of my belongings would have to be left behind. He quoted me $10,000. I felt like I was being held hostage. But what on earth could I say at that point. I kept mentioning all of the furniture I had removed from the inventory list and he just kept poo pooing me. Referring again to the number of boxes I had. I paid the $10,000. When my furniture was delivered in California, I learned the company I had hired, One World Van Lines, wasn’t the company that was delivering my furniture. They had subcontracted to another company. Many, many antique items were broken because of the loading and unloading multiple times.
I would never hire this company again. never, never. And upon delivery I was told on the phone by the driver that I would need to pay him $5,000 in cash or they would not give me my furniture. I had to run all over town to get the $5,000 in cash together. I felt completely like a hostage again. Do not hire this company. I paid $15,000 for the worst experience of my life. Do not hire this terrible company.
Highly Recommended Service.
We had a great moving experience with One World Van Lines. Our driver was very professional. Having moved many times, my family has dealt with the good, the bad and the WORST. With this move, from Michigan to Houston, TX, everything was so easy. Excellent work. Quick, easy to work with and they were very careful packing our items.I wish I could rate our driver at least 8 out of 5 stars. His "can do" attitude made this move the BEST one yet! Thank you One World Van Lines, and huge THANK YOU to the driver and crew.
Good Job.
Calvin, Antonio and Gerardo were my movers at the pickup end. They packed all the furniture with shrink wrap and moving blankets with great care and professionalism. I bagged my queen mattress and didn't expect them to wrap it in sturdy boxes for extra protection. Even when the truck had a flat, they called their repair guy and kept working. They were respectful, courteous and above all very hard-working til the job was complete. Great job guys.
Four stars for the sales end though. Ron, however good at getting the deal signed, I felt disappeared after the sale. Also I specifically asked if I should get a parking permit for the truck and his response was the truck was small enough so "not sure.

A friend of mine recommend me One World Van Lines. I thank my friend so much for that. They are great movers. They did all the job, loading, unloading, packing and un packing. They were on time. They didn't waist anytime in the move. They move me from El Paso, Tx. To Austin, Tx. Next day my house was set up to move in. I really recommend them. Great job guys. Deserve a high 5!
Good movers One World Van Lines.
I recently had a job transfer to Destin, Florida and was very skeptical about having to move to a different state. I had heard about One World from a friend who used their local services in Austin, TX. So I called Geoff and he came out and provided me with a in home survey to give me the most accurate estimate. I had made some changes to what I was bringing and needed packed, and One World was very flexiblie and accommodating with that. Everything was smooth and conditions of my items were the same as they were before. Would recommend these guys to anyone. They wrapped all my furniture and even packed my china cabinet for $50.
Awesome Movers.
One World Van Lines moved me from TX to Cali recently and I could not be more pleased with my whole experience!I had never moved across the country before, so I was a bit nervous about the whole process. All of my concerns were calmed after speaking to John-he was awesome answering all of my questions and guiding me through the steps necessary to make things go smooth. Moving day went off without a hitch and everyone who came to my house was so nice and did a great job protecting my things!Delivery was as promised, on time and with no damages or missing items. Now that I am settled into my new home, I had to share my experience with everyone and let them know how great these guys are!If you are looking for an awesome company, call One World-they are the best!
