Dishonest Company.
On January 13th 2017, I contacted Tim Everson of "Pa. Residential and Commercial Services, LLC.", via “Thumbtack” online, to inquire about a move for my elderly parents to take place in February 16th from Shippensburg to Mechanicsburg. After discussion of price, I hired him. I handled the entire transaction from beginning to end. The move itself went satisfactory. The issue I am reporting happened after he was paid and the moving of the items was complete. During the move a drawer in a dresser was broken. Tim immediately took responsibility for it and said that he would have it repaired, by a friend, and took the drawer with him. This was in February. He contacted me on March 14th via text message, and stated he had taken the drawer to “a friend’s shop” to be fixed but apparently it was not possible. He told me that he would try to purchase a new drawer from the furniture company. On April 23rd, without hearing anything for over a month, I contacted Tim again, via text. He said he was in Mexico and would be home in a few days, but that he planned on having his friend look at it to see if it
could be repaired. This was obviously not true because he told me already several weeks earlier that he had already done that and it was not possible. He quickly corrected himself and stated he could not locate a drawer. I asked him to find out from the furniture company if the dresser could be replaced.I told
him I wanted this done at his expense. He told me he would find out the cost and see if it is “ within a reasonable price”. I thought this was ridiculous, as I was assured they were insured at the beginning of our transaction. I told him how disappointed I was and that I wanted this to be taken care of immediately.
On May 18th after not hearing anything again I contacted him once more, again via text. This had been a full 3 months after my parent’s move. My father’s dresser has been sitting without a drawer for all this time. I have yet to hear back anything again. Dishonest, unprofessional and irresponsible company. Beware!
