Great Movers.
Great movers! The two-man crew was on time, courteous, efficient and very safe. Really a great crew and a great experience. I would use them again.
Moving out of state.
Run away! Terrible moving exp. antique dresser and tv broken Pete stated we’re trying to scam him. Box’s in wrong places we could go for days. Paid 10,000 with no compensation for broken high ticket items.
Best Movers! Highly Recommend.
I have moved 3 times in the past 5 years and these are the best movers we have ever had. They were fast, efficient and safe with all of our fragile belongings. This moving company went above and beyond when it came to schedule my move and being flexible with my move in date because my escrow closing date got pushed an extra week. High recommend this moving service. Great job all around guys!
Never again - outrageous.
Petes Moving Services did not deliver as ordered - 3 movers in min 2 hours. They only showed up 2 movers. I still had to pay the full price for all 3 movers even though I helped the team, so we finished within the 2 hours. NEVER AGAIN Petes Moving Services. The 2 movers worked hard to get my 26ft truck unloaded as quickly as possible. Did a good job. Even though I now have spend the entire day to sort the boxes to the right rooms as not enough time due to the missing mover. I can recommend Brian and John to do the job. $470.00 plus Tip - is outrageous for 2 movers in 2 hours. Never again.
Moving nightmare.
Set up a Friday move. They did not show Friday at all. They called and said since I didn't call them the day before to confirm (which was not told to me upon my initial scheduling) they scheduled their guys somewhere else. Told me they would be here Saturday between 12 and 3 pm. Saturday after multiple calls to get eta after 3 pm they show up at 5pm and say the need to call their boss. The owner "Pete" calls my wife and said "sorry we don't have time to do it tonight we need to cancel". Not, we will be there first thing tomorrow. Not I'm sorry here's a referral for another company. Just cancelled.. Exactly how am I supposed to get a mover at 5:30pm on a Saturday? Please do yourself a favor and do not put yourself in this nightmare. Please let my nightmare save you.
Horrible Moving company.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend Petes moving because of the terrible professionalism and lack to make good on damaged furniture!
I have never encountered such a horrible move!!
First it took 16 hours to complete the move, only moving to the next city.
Second the movers did not protect the furniture, therefore it was damaged.
Lastly, Pete texted me that he would make good on the damaged items and yet after two months nothing. He does not respond to texts nor returns my calls.
It is now going to have to be settled in court.
Do Not Waste Money.
I would give 0 stars if I could, after paying Pete's over 5k to move our stuff. We found many broken items, that we were not even told about. we tried to call him many times and left voice mails but he never returns our call. We also had to help unload a truck when we were told that other helpers would be "their any minute" to help. One of his guys even sent pics of the damage, after we spoke to Pete about them he will look at them again, then tell us if he is going to make a claim or not?? They were broke by his team packing and unloading. My advice stay away from Petes unless you like throwing your money away.
Awesome Movers.
We moved from Central Valley to San Jose and these guys were Incredible! We have probably used 5 moving companies in the past, but this one blew our minds. It was raining like crazy and these guys came and moved everything in record time. They also called ahead and let us know when they would arrive at the time we had scheduled. They wrapped every little thing with amazing precision and had the best attitude. All of our furniture arrived to our new home without a scratch or dent. The crew also made sure to place all of our furniture where we wanted it. I am so thankful for Pete's Moving services! I want to thank the crew and Pete, the guy in charge. He was wonderful, polite, professional and super helpful. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is planning to move! .
