  1. Not Thrilled.

This company was recommended to me, but I was very unhappy with the move process. Connie Johnson was very helpful with getting my move arranged, and the crate-and-freight packing service crew was fine (except for losing one of the wheels on my bed frame, so I now have to purchase a brand new bed frame). But it seemed like once I signed on the dotted line, the customer service went out the window. Connie stopped responding to my emails, but she forwarded them to Jennifer Loyd. Jennifer was then sick during the delivery window, so I couldn't get ahold of anyone who knew about my situation. I was eventually connected with Angie, who was very nice, but she didn't know about my move, since she hadn't been involved from the beginning.

I was given a delivery window of September 12-19. Literally any of those days would have been great, except for the last one (September 19), but I was willing to take the risk, given that I had a 7-out-of-8 chance that the delivery would NOT be on the very last day of the window. Turns out I was too hopeful. Angie told me that my things would be delivered on September 20 or 21, to which I told her that that was outside of my window and that I'd need a reimbursement of some sort (again, Angie had no idea about my window; she hadn't been involved with the arrangement in any way). This was all that the movers needed to hear to move my delivery to September 21. So I suppose I got my delivery within that window, but that wouldn't have happened unless I proactively reminded everyone of the conditions that had been agreed upon. And that is not the customer's responsibility. Even then, delivery on the final day of the window? Yikes.

I honestly don't know how all the logistics work between Prairie Van Storage and Atlas. But I would not recommend that anyone go through this process. This was a customer service nightmare. Next time, I'll just hire movers on both ends and drive a U-Haul myself.
