  1. Worst Quality.

I originally hired Colonial Van Lines and signed the contract with them. They hired Quality Relocation to perform the actual move. Immediately, the movers were unprofessional. They were very rough with my items (I watched as they tossed boxes labeled "Fragile" to the ground) and damaged several furniture pieces, declaring "I'm not liable for this damage!" as they (again) threw parts of the furniture to the ground, while I watched. Originally, I was told they could unhook my washer and dryer as well as take apart my furniture and reassemble at the new place. The movers then denied this, saying if I paid them under the table (their words), they'd do anything I asked. That was pickup. They lied about my overall truck weight (my truck suspiciously weighed about 500 extra pounds, which was basically the weight of the movers in the truck) but I was not given the chance to argue this. Delivery had to be around THEIR schedule, despite me telling them multiple times that I wouldn't be there until a certain day. They ended up arriving 2 days early then hassled me about not being there. Upon delivery, they broke another piece of furniture and then tried to hide it by propping it together so at a casual glance, nothing looked wrong. But when I went to put it in place, it came apart (they had ripped off the top, stripping the screw holes into being useless). They lost some items. Boxes arrived punctured. And their attitude was the worst of all. I will not be hiring Colonial nor Quality Relocation ever again.

  2. Very Bad company.

Don't ever hire this company. Most of my stuff has being stolen. I don't know what to do because no one is answering the phone when I call. Missing items - 50 inch TV, bed, queen mattress, queen and king bed frame, dining table, sofa, 12 bottle wine, cabby, DVD player, sandwich maker, 2 bedside mat, crystal lamps, 2 night table, 1 standing lamp, suitcase with my daughter clothes, 3 missing boxes with house old stuff stool, vacuum, big table, flowers and more also my rice cooker, which had never been used came with dirty rice. I need my stuff or money back.

  3. Avoid at All Costs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Absolutely, by far, the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with.. Never contacted me with changes to the schedule. They also lost some of my items included in the move, detailed on the contract, and it took them over 4 weeks to "search" their warehouse to tell me they couldn't find the items. Oh, I also had the joy of leaving over 20 messages over the course of one week before I was even able to get a hold of anyone, and that was after they said they'd contact me within 24 hours. And that was only by calling them 10 times in row before anyone answered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR STUFF. They will lose items and those they do not lose will most likely be damaged, if not destroyed. I should have done more research but I did not take the time. That is my fault, however, please take this review to heart, spend a bit more money, and DO NOT take the risk of hiring this company. Turns out, and I didn't know/read the fine print, the company I chose outsourced my move to this moving company. They were American Discount Movers. I will be posting the same review on their site too. Do not put yourself in the stressful situation I have recently gone through.

  4. Use Anyone Else!!

This is a terrible company, they quote you a decent price then they charge you double on the day of the move! My stuff was eventually delivered but was broken, dinged up and damaged. All my glasses were broken! When they did finally deliver my stuff they made me unload my stuff because they only sent one guy!! They don't care about their customers and I will get no retribution from this! Please tell your family and friends do not use them!!

  5. Horrible Movers!!

My movers made my entire moving experience a nightmare!  The man driving my moving truck called me throughout the entire move asking me for more money.  He wanted to make sure I had cash for him on top of the money I'd already paid for the move that I was quoted by the moving company.  When I did not pay him extra when he arrived, he refused to unpack my things.  He immediately left his semi truck parked illegally on my street and didn't return for an hour.  I had to get on the phone with the company headquarters to get him to do any work.  My things were packed behind someone else's things.  They unloaded someone else's property onto my lawn and my neighbor's lawn to get my things out, then threw all the other owner's property back onto the truck.  After unpacking all of my boxes, I discovered nearly all of my boxes, that were packed with care and lots of padding, had something broken.  One of the movers even broke my floor lamp right in front of my face.  He told me that it wasn't his fault and it was broken at the distribution center where my boxes were originally sent.  The truck driver actually said to me "money talks" when I was waiting for him to unload my truck.  I will NEVER use these movers again and I suggest that you also look elsewhere.

  6. Quality Relocation Services.

We've moved over 20 times and never had such a horrible experience.  Our furniture was destroyed; an expensive wine cabinet, a brand new bedroom set, an entertainment cabinet, a recliner, the majority of my china and crystal glasses, all broken and destroyed.  A new desk chair, a television, several souvenir knives, car ramps, door, all stolen.  They lied to us about the pick up day and time.  We were guaranteed a professional packing job, my dishes were packed with no packing material and were all broken.  After all our moves, this was the most horrifying and disheartening experience we've ever had.

  7. Don't erver ever higher Quality Relocation Srevices.

My daughter has hired Van Lines in Florida that outsourced her move to your company.  Her pick-up date was 3/29/2013 in Toledo Ohio.  To date she has not received her furniture in Florida nor can she get a date when the furniture will be delivered that sticks.  When she signed the contract, she was not informed that you would take the entire 21 days to deliver her stuff.  She was told by 4/1/2013 then told 4/3/2013 and then she was told 4/11/2013 which is today.  Today she talked to the dispatcher Carlos in Columbus and he told her that her furniture is still in the Columbus warehouse and that they do not know when it will be delivered something about getting a truck in.  They are in the moving business so I would think that a TRUCK should not be an issue.  My daughter has 4 young girls with no cloths, beds, furniture, toys for the children, items they needed to start school and does not have ability to cook meals for them.    How in the world do you as a company think that this is OKAY to do this to someone?!    We have read your reviews after the contract was signed (since Van Lines in Florida didn’t tell us up front ‘WHO’ they were hiring for the move) and if we knew then what we know now we would have never hired you.  I am surprised that you are still in business.    .

  8. Completley unsatisfied.

There are multiple companies with this name, so I would like to clarify that this is the QRS with the website theqrs.com based out of Colorado. Our movers were so late picking up our stuff that we had to leave and have my brother oversee the movers.  The day they were supposed to arrive, we received a phone call that the driver would be there between 12 and 2pm and then didn't hear from him until 11pm.  From there on out, we just received lies, that we easily saw through.  The movers took 6 hours to pack our things into the truck and wrapped things that were already wrapped and didn't need wrapping, whereas other things that did need a blanket around them, didn't get one.  They also took things apart that didn't need to be taken apart.  I have moved with movers two other times and those items had never been taken apart.  We were told we would receive a discount for our troubles, however, our phone calls were avoided all week.  Our things were transferred to a different company (something we were not aware would happen).  We received a call from that company after business hours on Friday telling us we needed to arrange payment and the driver would arrive Saturday or Sunday.  They expected us to pay everything, without a discount and with a $300 packing materials fee.  We sent in the form to pay half by credit card, but were not going to pay the full amount until we got our discount.  The driver showed up on Sunday and of course would not give us our stuff without the money.  They said they didn't even have the credit card form we had sent.  That company said it was not their place to give us the discount and said we would be charged $400 for having to wait overnight.  When we finally did contact QRS on Monday, they told us that the only person who could give us the discount had their mother-in-law die and was on a plane to another country and wouldn't be back for two weeks. (more lies). They also refused to pay the $400 fee.  The person who was so sweet and seemed so helpful in the beginning, was very changed at the end of the process.  They had our stuff, so we had no choice but to pay everything.  Then our stuff arrived and it was like they had just thrown it in the truck.  One bookshelf was so demolished that the driver said we didn't want it (which wasn't brought up until I noticed it was missing).  Many things had holes punched in them.  Dishes were broken despite how well we packed them.  A base of a light was extremely damaged.  Like I said before, I have moved multiple times before and never seen damage like this.  I wrote all that was missing and broken on the form, but we have not heard from them since.
