Housewarming gift upon arrival.
I got a price of $975 to move from L.A. to Texas and the cost DID NOT change on my move. I was so pleased with the fact that my items were cared for as if delicate china. Everything arrived on time and the movers were professional. They made me feel comfortable. .
We slept on floor for 20 days with our 20 month old baby.
I wish I can give them negative, The driver Tim came 3 hours late, once arrived he started working and estimating things and ofcourse he said you have more items than the inventory, and the price'll go up $204 more, we said okay, they loaded everything and assured us that he deals with gentle and care with the stuff..yeah right!! HE also told us that he'll make it to the destination in 3 days, and wanted to know when exactly we'll be flying to the destination to make sure we'll be there ince he arrive..we were very excited ang grateful. When we arrived we called him-it was a saturday- he didn't pick up, and it was the labor day weekend we kept calling him and leaving voice messages, but never got back to us, or simpley answered his phone, on 09/04 we called the company, and they got him to call us, and I told him you assured us you'll bring our stuff very quickly, he told me "I have up to 21 days to deliver your stuff, check your contract"!! The truck broke down in Tacoma, WA! No one of this company called us, not even once, we kept calling them asking for information where're our stuff, they say "when the truck get fixed we'll call you" and if I told them the driver is not answering my calls!! they say "HE told you we he get it fixed he'll call you" We didn't conact them for a whole week, and then when we called they told us that our stuff got picked up by another driver -another company- they didn't even tell us! no one contacted us, and when asked for the driver's company the woman who works there said"You don't need his company name, all you need is his name and that he'll bring your stuff!!" The other driver came, the rest of the money on front, before unloading anything, and when they did, we found 1 bookcase, 1 picture frame, TV stand, 1 floor lamp, and crib rail, damaged and broken. We had to throw these stuff away, because they were completely damaged!! BottomLine..DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. They're Liers, dishonest and no communications!! Please please don't hire them otherwise you'll regret it.

I'm not sure what other companies do, but R&C hired local day laborers off Craigslist and pad them $12/hour. This is not what I paid for nor what I would expect for professional movers.

We cannot recommend enough for the good work done by R and C Relocation Services in our move last week. They came on the first day to pack our apartment, and arrived the next morning to move us from Valley Village,CA to a few blocks away. One of the movers named Ryan did an outstanding job!! The packing was excellent and everything was handled with great care. The moving happened quickly but equally as carefully. We had four guys doing the work and all of them were super polite, friendly and helpful.. We will try not using anyone nor recommend anyone else again. They were a lifesaver for us . Thankyou R and C Relocation Service.

I will never ever ever ever EVER move by myself again, or force my friends to help me move, now that I know R & C Relocation exists.
We had 4 movers and 1 large truck since we were moving an entire house of crap. They showed up on time and immediately went to work..only stopping to take their lunch break. I have never seen anything like it. We lived on the 2nd floor and moved to another 2 floor, for a total of 8 flights of stairs. Not only were they fast, but they literally ran up and down the stairs with boxes.
Some places charge you to disassemble beds or if you are not fully packed. I had left these things for later thinking I would tackle it on my own after they left. Before I knew what happened, they had boxed my random crap and loaded it up in the truck.
All in all, it took them about 5 hrs to move 4 peoples' worth of stuff, and came in WELL UNDER the estimated cost.
Everyone was so professional, friendly, and fast, I couldn't believe I had suffered for so long doing this on my own.
