Excellent service life saver
My mother lived in New York and fell ill last summer. Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions we could not enter New York and were desperate to get her to Florida into assisted living. 49 years of clutter and antiques. The owner Mike and his wife Jen of Reliable Movers came highly recommended. Every single detail, coordination, email, and calls were answered in a timely manner by Jen. She referred us to clean out service, a real estate broker,foundabuyerfor moms car at a great price, and found antiques dealer to purchase several Stickley pieces. They packaged every box with expertise. Worked with three of us via zoom in sorting. I was called by Mike on the day of loading. My mother had been putting 20.00 bills in a hole of the mattress my father side he slept on, my guess 18 years when he passed away. I'm not going to mention the amount but Mike immediately called me and zoomed showing the money. He counted and gave me the amount that was there. It was delivered to me as well as the furniture 3 days later with a extra stop to my sister in Georgia. Everything was in perfect condition. We are so happy with this moving company and highly recommend them. Hardworking, honest, provides a invaluable service.

The guys were punctual, courteous, responsive,hard working team. I have moved several times in and out of state and these guys were by far the best movers I have had.
I was concerned as most of my furniture is heavy and old. But the guys paid close attention to the old pieces and packaged them perfectly. Boxes were packaged neatly and very safeguarded.
No sales pitches, no change in pricing. They exceeded all my expectations.
My recent move.
I have lived in my home for 41 years - NEVER have used a mover for anything. Reliable was recommended by a friend. It was not an easy move - I have many large antique items.. Was moving to Auburn from Montour Falls - about 55 miles and up 36 stairs. They arrived a 1/2 early - no problem, I figured that they would have my furniture in Auburn by 3 and I would be done by 4 or 5. The move was completed by 1pm. The three young men were incredibly personable and wonderfully professional. I am blown away by how easy the whole process was. It was worth every penny I spent, and it was less than I thought. Book them today.

The guys were polite, efficient and really knew what they were doing. Nice bunch of gentlemen! I hope I don’t have to move again but if I do I would hire them again!!
Move from Liverpool by to Onondaga hill.
The movers were on time and handled everything with great care. Our move had to be changed three times because of delayed closing dates. The owners were accommodating for us and understood. The day we finally moved it was extremely hot and the movers never stopped until it was completed to our satisfaction. We would like to thank Mike and Jen and their crew. We would recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

I hired Reliable Movers to move my 79 year old aunt from Skaneateles NY to Cape Corral FL December. The owners wife worked with me via long distance helping arrange for a disposal team, bringing boxes and supplies for packing. My aunt had lived in the house for 40 plus years so there were many things to pack and go through. When I arrived in NY I met with Mike and his wife for the loading. Mikes wife helped finished packing, over saw items being wrapped, and took lots of pictures for the inventory. Mike helped his guys load. The whole process was fast,almost a whirlwind of men and furniture. At no time did I or my aunt feel stressed. The truck arrived in Cape Coral 4 days later. Again the guys unloaded in the same pace. Furniture and boxes put where I asked. The bed was set up along with tables. Mike and his wife oversaw the unloading, unwrapped pieces, opened a few boxes, and took the final pictures. The whole move was in perfect condition. One small mirror was broke due to my poor packing. Mike took the mirror and had the glass replaced and dropped it off 3 days later. It was much appreciated! Very professional.
Move to PA from NY.
I was very impressed with Reliable Movers in Auburn, NY!! They made my move stress free with absolutely no hassles. They were on time on moving day and moved me out quickly, carefully and efficient using plastic wrap and blankets. They were very courteous, professional and friendly. The next day they arrived on time to deliver my belongings to my new location. They were always careful to move my furniture and belongings without hitting any walls or door openings. I highly recommend them. I'm so glad I hired this company! Jennifer and Mike were professional to deal with. They were responsive and answered my questions and emails promptly.

None that I seen. Used reliable movers twice for 1 bedroom apartment.
For my last move Reliable Movers was booked and offered me a moving date two days later. Unfortunately I could not wait and hired another mover. What a huge mistake. The other mover tried charging me three times the amount for the same items reliable movers moved. Never again. I will wait for quality service and have referred all my friends to them.

Despite the previous reviewer, I loved Reliable Movers. I found them through a google search engine. I called a couple of movers but Jennifer in the office was very nice. She spent a lot of time with me explaining and answering all my questions. I was sent a contract through my email and then she continued to answer even more questions. The price was based on the truck and space used. I was quoted 1200.00 but was charge 900.00 as I only used 3/4 of the truck. The guys showed up on one of the hottest days and got right to work. They were very experienced. And they too answered my questions promptly and efficently. Two guys lifted and carried dressers that an average person would have struggled with. The guys were personable and very likeable. We had a few laughs as we had to wait for the person I bought the house from to finish moving a few things out. The guys jumped right in and helped her move a file cabinet to her car. I was moved from a 3bedroom townhome to my new 3 bedroom home about 26 miles away. The furniture was well protected and I had to no problems with damaged. The guys put my beds back together, the trendle bed taking some time and my sons crib. I am very happy with this service and would recommend them to anyone who ask. In fact my realtor took a couple of their cards and has used them for her own office move. And she too was elated! Great work guys!
Be Warned Reliable Movers.
Reliable Movers located in Auburn NY arrived on time and seemed to be fairly friendly guys. I thought I had chose well due to their convincing ad.When I first phoned Reliable Movers they raised the cost, claiming they were not in the area , even though they advertised in my area and upon my questing them about their company they assured me they were a professional moving service.I almost declined when they were first in the apt and I saw they did not have the standard items a professional moving company carries, such as wrap and protective items for my furniture. I asked if they had a dolly to which they also did not. However they assured me they could get it into my apt. Due to their friendly disposition I accepted and I even gave one of the movers a substantial gift I no longer had use for.Upon delivery I noticed a scratch on the front of a brand new dresser only one year old. They said they might have a marker in the truck to try to fix it however it went left unmentioned after they disappeared to retrieve more furniture.I paid them, even tipped them a small tip to realize later that I was missing two boxes. One very light in weight, large box containing an expensive vintage shade that goes to a set of vintage Stiffel lamps. Quite a costly collectible. I'm also missing musical heavy equipment and irreplaceable family photos.Upon completely unpacking within a weeks time I contacted Reliable movers of my missing items to which their disposition changed dramatically accusing my email of being hostile. They refused to even question their movers claiming they have a camera in their truck and denying my allegations.I also gave the movers a key card to open the gate to the building to which they never returned and claimed they never received, yet they had the audacity to contact the owners of my building concerning the key they claimed to never have received in a patronizing manner, disclosing my personal information and violating my legal right to privacy. I pay a very high price in rent for the amenities I have which includes keyless entry.I have discontinued email converse with this faux moving company,however I continue to receive deterring emails from them addressing me by unknown names, with animosity. acqusations and threats.If you value your possessions, your anonymity as serenity, stay clear from Reliable movers.
